Will The Suns Run It Back With Kevin Durant Or Trade Him? 🎙️ #nba #phoenixsuns #kevindurant
do you think there’s a world if the deals don’t materialize that the Suns could actually run it back with Kevin Durant no it’s 99% sure that it’s going to happen and that 1% that it doesn’t is because the league shuts down because of some world catastrophe and no team’s allowed to make trades i think there is a very slim chance that this goes beyond draft night followup all anyone is reporting is that the Suns are going to make the best deal whether it’s Gambo Stein Shams everyone is reporting and I actually think that’s true damen Lillard didn’t go to his preferred destination jimmy Butler didn’t go his preferred destination i think that there is no world where he doesn’t sign an extension with someone do you think they could actually send him to Toronto Minnesota or heck Lithuania maybe they got another little metal ball prospect they want to send us 100% all it takes is Minnesota or Toronto to be willing and that the Suns feel that it’s enough in return and if that’s the case and they go back to Miami or they go back to Houston and say “Hey do you want to make a run at this?” No

I actually think we should just announce that we're going to stick with KD now, and let all the other teams wish they had made a better offer. KD is still a great player, he did very well for us last year. Aside from the ankle injury early on, he has been everything advertised. He's not a great leader, but he's a great player and a Hall of famer. I think they should just sit Bradley Beale down and say you are going to come in when either book or KD are on the bench. So we always have two stars on the court. But we're going to start those two and build around them so that we have more consistency. Maybe he'll agree to trade if he doesn't want to come off the bench, but that's the way it has to be. None of this would have even been necessary if James Jones had drafted Tyrese haliburton. That's the only real major issue over the past 5 years.
Imagine if we had him as our point guard, we don't have to trade for Bradley Beal. I think trading DeAndre Aiden wasn't necessary step because DeAndre Hayden only plays hard against the Phoenix Suns. He certainly wasn't worth a Max contract considering how little effort and aggression he put into his game.
But having a stud point guard who could have learned for a season or two under Chris Paul would have been nothing short of miraculous. I sincerely never saw sticks as an option, when Tyrese haliburton was available I was overjoyed, and then I was instantly calling for James Jones termination. How do you choose a below average player just because he's tall? That dude couldn't push a snowflake away from himself.
Anyway, I will be harping on that failure until the day I draw my last breath.
But I'm perfectly fine keeping KD, I think he's doing a great job as a Phoenix Sun, he's dealt with all these trade like a professional + I'm assuming that he and book still get along well. Play the two rookies along with them and start the best point guard on the team. If tyus comes back, that's him.
Will still have a little depth. Let's just hope we don't have some serious injuries this year and maybe we can stun some people and make the playoffs again. Make those draft picks that people don't want to trade back to us worth less.
