Ace Bailey Vs Jeremiah Fears.. THIS Is Who The Washington Wizards Should Draft

what’s going on guys Back with another video and today we’re going to be talking about Ace Bailey versus Jeremiah Fears and who I personally will go with if the Wizards were to stay at the six pick and both players were available The answer is quite simple to me It’s Ace Bailey I think 100% if Fierce is there if Bailey is there it’s the sixth pick you go with Ace Bailey I just feel like the position that Ace Bailey plays the size that Ace Bailey is obviously they’re both very young players Fierce and Bailey uh with Fierce being on the smaller side of point guards in today’s you know current game where guys are 65 66 point guards uh Fierce I guess would be looked at as a smaller guard which is a worry for some but I just think you look at the games Ace Bailey multiple 30 point scoring games in college that’s not something that’s just easy to do as well as playing on the ball and playing off the ball You look at Ace Bailey the worry here is his shot selection You look at his tape it’s a lot of tough shots being made And your natural question is is he going to be able to make those shots in the NBA Is he going to be able to do this against NBA level defenders It looks nice when the ball goes in the hoop all these tough shots and all these tough makes But what happens when he’s not making them and it just looks like he’s shooting up contested shots and they’re not falling then it’s just this dude can’t create space This dude is a shot chucker and a bricker right And I get all that I think with his age and the scoring potential that he’s already showed at such a young age and the shot making potential on the ball like I said as well as off the ball I wonder how somebody like Jeremiah Fears would fare in off the ball role or does he have to be the lead guard I I I feel like Ace Bailey can there’s a lot of flexibility with Ace Bailey as compared to Jeremiah Fears Ace Bailey you could put him at the three you could put him at the four I don’t know how long you want to put him as a small ball but you know mainly at three four Um Fierce you know the one and two but I know Ace Bailey is a guy that you could put in a couple different spots and I feel like he will play very well Um decent rebounder He had multiple double doubles Averaged seven rebounds I think a game Yeah Averaged 17 and seven I I just feel like when you look at the potential when you look at the ceiling who has a higher ceiling Ace Bailey or Jeremiah Fierce And my answer is Ace Bailey I feel like the ceiling is higher I feel like the talent level with Bailey is higher I feel like the athleticism is higher I feel like the scoring ability is higher Now Ferris is a better passer of the ball than um Ace Bailey but when you look at elite traits I I’m not seeing like elite athleticism from Fierce or elite scoring ability from Fierce or elite playmaking potential from Fierce He He’s very solid at a lot of these areas You know he’s solid I know they question his finishing ability his shooting ability I know he was around the 20% tile Not 20% tile but let me chat 28% from three He shot 28% from three So a lot of people are like “Hey can he improve on three ball etc.” Ace Bailey I I just feel like man you got a lot to work with there You know when you talk about being a a a wing in today’s NBA which is extremely important like I already brought up his size and age and you already see what you working with You look at the athleticism Now he ain’t VJ Edge come as far as the athleticism It ain’t jumping off the charts but it is a high level of athleticism from Ace Bailey You’ve seen his dunks in game I I just feel like the elite trait is there with the scoring potential and if you put him on a squad like the Washington Wizards he will get the opportunity to be a focal point in the offense to get good playing time to make mistakes and also grow his game and also have other solid players to play off of Aka Jordan P if he’s still on the team at the time You know you got a lot of decent young guys in Kulabali Keshan going to the second year same as Sar and Carrington So you got some things to work to mix in with some vets if Marcus Smart is still on the team Uh Chris Middleton is somebody I think Ace Bailey would it would be a great fit to have around Chris Middleton as a vet for as long however much longer he’s here if he may get traded mid-season who knows But somebody like Chris Middleton who Ace Bailey can watch you know maybe come off the bench to start behind Chris Middleton is not going to play every single game He he’ll have injuries He’ll just have rest days But having a vet like Chris Middleton is Ace Bailey coming into the league is a great vet to have and that’s why I like to pick even more So if we’re talking about Bailey versus Fierce I think the choice is clear It’s Ace Bailey When you look at the Vegas sports books and you see who has the best odds for the number six pick it is still to this day Ace Bailey And I think that’s the guy that you go with especially if he’s available Man if you got to move up one spot for him move up one spot for him I mean unless you guys feel differently let me know why you feel differently why you would go fears over Bailey But I mean you would be crazy in my opinion to to if you’re the Wizards and you’re trying to find a a potential star to kickstart your your rebuild and really like have that guy that face like “All right we got our face Now let’s just keep building around that because you have a lot of solid players but you don’t have that guy yet on this team.” So Ace Bailey I think right now in the position they’re in unless they were able to get up to number two like they’ve been trying to do and get Dylan Harper which it doesn’t seem like the Spurs are willing to depart with that number two pick It seems like they want to go with Harper I don’t blame him I think Harper has the chance to be the best player in this draft But Ace Bailey versus Jeremiah
