so could the Boston Celtics be trading away Derek White to the Utah Jazz this 2025N NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Boston Celtics receiving Walker Kesler and Colin Ston and the Utah Jazz receiving Derek White and Kristophs Porzingis so if the show were to go down this would be an absolute blockbuster for both teams to make truthfully speaking if for the Utah Jazz you’d have to pretty happy with this deal i know you’re getting back Christoph Sporting’s contract but when this guy is healthy he still is a pretty valuable player now now he is pretty expensive but what the UTS have to uh you know at their disposal and to their advantage is some cap space so uh Derek White a phenomenal player uh this would be a pretty good addition for the team right he’s a good defensive player uh very important part to this Celtics team and I don’t really see a world where the Celtics want to get rid of Derek White uh but if it’s the only way to get rid of some money as well as getting back some good value in return which in this scenario they would be with Walker Kesler who’s a good young uh you know front court player in the making as well as Colin Ston who plays with a very high motor and a lot of good energy this can be kind of a win-win trade for both teams because if you are the Utah Jazz this team has a hard time acquiring talent unless it’s through the trade market or through the draft i think if they’re able to get Derrick White and Christophorzingis this would be a step in the right direction uh bringing on two NBA championship uh players to you know to uh establish some culture here maybe in this scenario they retain someone like Lori Markin and have sort of a big three that way of Derek White Lorie Markin and Christoph Porzingis but if you’re the Boston Celtics as I mentioned before you don’t want to shop Derek White per se uh but if the only way to get back some good value for getting rid of Porzingis’s contract is to attach him and you’re getting back a good rim protecting player in Walker Kesler and a player that plays with tremendous energy in Colin Ston this could be a pretty great trade for the Celtics in both the short term as well as the long term of things so if I had to pick a winner of this deal I’m actually probably going to go with the Utah Jazz because I love Derek White as a player but if you’re the Celtics it’s still a really good deal all things considered but as always leave your thoughts
