so could the Golden State Warriors be trading away Jonathan Kaminga to the Washington Wizards this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Golden State Warriors receiving Chris Middleton and the Washington Wizards receiving Jonathan Kaminga so in my personal opinion this just doesn’t make that much sense uh for the Warriors to do um if you really kind of break it down so I know that Kamingo’s value isn’t as high as it once was and all signs point towards him getting traded so in regards to who has the leverage the Warriors probably don’t have that much all things considered in trade conversations but what they can get back from other teams I can guarantee you almost would be some form of draft capital and younger talent than Chris Middleton chris Middleton is not the player that he once was in his prime Milwaukee days he’s an NBA champion and he has been part of a really good culture in Milwaukee but I think those days are behind him so if you were to go to this Warriors team first off he makes them older and they’re already a pretty old team as it is maybe Chris Middleton buys in and adapts a little bit more like he could be a fourth or a fifth option on this team and actually probably play that role pretty well uh maybe a little bit more so than Kaminga so you can make the argument that from a morale perspective from basketball perspective it actually does make a little bit more sense but the upside with Kaminga is so much higher in my opinion than what Chris Middleton offers at this point in 2025 so if you’re the Wizards you’re a rebuilding team and you’re able to flip an aging decreasing asset in Chris Middleton to an undervalued player who you can maybe get you know 60 cents in the dollars for in Jonathan Kaminga there’s no way but up like this guy could have a bright future in Washington he could play alongside uh players like Jordan P as well as some other players on this roster and potentially blossom into the superstar that he believes he can be so just in my opinion uh there’s way too much upside here uh for the Wizards not to be the winners of this deal and if you’re the Warriors to make this trade more justified I think you have to get back some draft capital at the very least in my opinion so I think the Wizards win this deal and as always leave your thoughts
