NBA LIVE! Oklahoma City Thunder at Indiana Pacers LIVE – NBA Finals Game 7 I June 21, 2025 2K Live

nba season ga do you think 82 games is the right number well I do it’s worked well for over 50 years so why change it and if we do change it it affects records and how we compare the game across Europe let’s check out Indiana’s starting lineup seakim is the four and he’ll be next to Turner at the five allebertton in the back court nemar to his side and it’s Matin in at the three the small forward caruso no good here’s Indiana it’s a three-point game out to Turner lets it go with a three gilg Alexander pulls it in and Gilis Alexander’s got the ball here for the Thunder and out of bounds as the Pacers gain possession and let’s head over to the sideline and catch up with David Aldridge well I talked with head coach Mark Dagnel now we talked about Benedict Mathan their confident wing coach said guarding Matine is a challenge he’s got that it factor so we’ve told our guys who are defending him you have to try to match his intensity he’ll eat you alive checking Benedict Matherin never an easy assignment kevin all right thank you David williams against Toppen they get it again boy this guy is a good finisher so he misses a chippy that’s tough to take to the inside here’s Turner count the bucket coming off a perfectly placed assist you can see how comfortable Miles Turner is on the interior he knows he has the size and length to dominate here’s Dor and foul on the shot so he’ll get a chance at the line well the ascension of Jaylen Williams Doris has been swift and very fun to watch oh absolutely Kevin he became very quickly in his second season a number two option and frankly borderline 1A option and it’s not just his offensive game Kevin this guy has become a stout defender he’s got the perfect NBA frame and he fits in personalitywise free throw good dor what you love about Lou Dort is this guy seizes an opportunity early in his career he is always searching for ways to improve and we know what a force he can be on the defensive end you got it out i got you all free throws good from Dort what we know about Lou Dort is this guy is an excellent defender he’s got size strength versatility you can basically throw him at the other team’s best offensive weapon night after night and it’s blocked by Gilis Alexander and that’s out of bounds indiana will retain possession little over a minute 30 into this first quarter hey come around come around six to shoot here’s Hallebertton with his length and athleticism and basketball smarts how about the contest by Shay Gilis Alexander excellent defense caruso kicks to Gilis Alexander and he makes good on the layup and once he got to the 10 I think he was surprised to find himself that wide open i think defensively that is not the way you want to start giving up high percentage looks that doesn’t typically end well here’s Turner after the maid shot from Shay Gilis Alexander turner with a screen for Hallebertton shoots over Gilis Alexander hallebertton that’s good hallebertton’s got five he’s so disciplined as a playmaker tyrese Hallebertton sees what’s happening it’s just going to take the opportunity here’s Gilis Alexander his shot is good making him a perfect two for two from the floor good way to start this game you want to get him rolling as early as possible he’s a guy who if he gets hot he can carry your offense for long stretches and Rick Carile decides to call timeout he’s going to have a discussion here on the sideline [Applause] and now a look at the teams that have shot the ball the best over the course of the last month in third the Thunder you know offensively people are moving without the ball making the extra pass and that’s led to a high shooting percentage for them really over the last month oklahoma City on D they trail by one and out of bounds as the Pacers gain possession let’s see some of the numbers here for Shay Gilis Alexander and he’s gone dry over the past 10 games guys his scoring is way down and he can’t seem to fight his way out of the slump he better get it going tonight or they’ll start losing patience with him gilas Alexander against Hallebertton kick it out kick it out turner with a screen on Gilis Alexander here’s Hallebertton and he tries off the glass but it’s no good when you talk about Jaylen Williams Doris is it fair to say this guy has superstar level potential without a doubt Kevin jaylen Williams is a three-level scorer he’s fearless in the clutch he has the hunger to keep improving and he can be a locked down defender he’s got all the tools to reach the level we’re talking about and he gets the whistle two free throws coming up and you don’t ever want to get into the habit of letting the offense get to the rim the Bers shooting their initial free throws of the game right here and their success rate on the season right around 77% take a break take a break two shots first free throw is good and so he hits both Just over three and a half minutes gone here in the first pass to Caruso here’s Homegrren and it’s Gilis Alexander in the corner six on the shot clock homerren sets the screen for Gilg Alexander for three and Hungren the bucket on the assist from Gilg Alexander and that ties it up and with that threat of the outside jumper a home run generates space for this offense turner passes to Matan toin sets a screen for Matan indiana again missing he is too good a shooter guys to be left open like that the defense just dodged a bullet there outside Gilgis Alexander and that won’t go missing the go-ahead bucket indiana’s gone one of three from beyond the arc so far in the game and good that time this guy very comfortable operating in the painted area all Oba needs is a little bit of room to get that shot off outside williams back to Gilas Alexander that one doesn’t go excellent defense there from Hallebertton and he lobbs it up toward the rim and nice read from Matum he’s always trying to get his teammates going for the Pacers they come in off a loss to the Wizards in Washington scoring efficiency was an issue in that one took them too many shots to get their points i think it was a lot of bad decisions leading to a lot of poor looks patience was not their best quality in that basketball game shots good by Williams yeah I mean Jaylen Williams got as great a basketball frame as you could hope for that’s strength right there outside Turner pass to Hallebertton lock at six now matin Gilg Alexander covering here’s Nemar and the rebound goes to the Thunder and that’s where you want to make the next pass this guy is a good scorer but the defense was right on him to the middle deflects the pass and it goes out of bounds that one off Turner as we close in on the start of the playoffs let’s see how the East is stacking up you look at Indiana right now if the playoffs started they would have the seventh seed yeah and seeing where the Pacers are they haven’t had the great season that some were expecting but it hasn’t been a disaster they just need a few things to go right for him down the stretch it’s an amazing thing if you can get a couple of wins generate some momentum you’ve got to believe they’ll be just fine and Indiana making a change here mcconnell’s checked in pass to Hallebertton and here is Turner shoots over Hungren and the rejection by Hongren long 71 with that 76 wingspan hongren can alter or block just about every shot in his vicinity wow wow he got whacked on that one shouldn’t be much debate there the Pacers shooting their third and fourth free throw attempts of the game you got it now the first one falls well Miles Turner understands how to use his size and length doesn’t matter if he’s blocking shots or going for his high release point jump shot hartinstein’s checked in for Jed Homegrren both free throws good from Turner you just look at the trajectory of Turner’s career he was raw coming into the league up and down for a number of years but when he put it all together he became the total package now here’s Williams he had 19 points in the win against Memphis hartinstein with it picked up by Turner caruso good on the three-point shot and the lack of effort to fight over the screen there makes that an easy shot you know we see this all the time you’re basically as a defender hoping the man misses rather than putting in the work to get over screens here’s Matin after Oklahoma City gets the three turner inside he’s defended by Hortonstein unloads from nine that one off the back iron and out listen simply put he’s got to finish that it’s not like the defender was right on top of him outside Williams beyond the arc and it’s McConnell with the rebound and it’s McConnell with the ball he’ll bring it up for the Pacers last time they met was in Indiana yeah I remember last time they met up they just got ran out of the building they weren’t too happy with some of the calls in that game either yeah their starters got into foul trouble and it felt as if some of the calls were ticky tack no doubt but nonetheless damage was done pass to Caruso [Applause] and Williams here we go count it his second make in four attempts boy that’s what you call a tough two-point bucket jaylen Williams using the dribble to get separation hallebertton passes to McConnell and it’s off from three-point range oklahoma City’s gotten just two of six to fall from three-point range so far in the first caruso kicks to Gilgis Alexander hardenstein with a screen on McConnell and the dunk by Hardenstein well just good recognition in the pick and roll gilchess Alexander reacting to the defense perfectly hallebertton bass to Turner and it’s slammed in by Turner well he’s such a good athlete for a center it’s how he’s able to succeed despite being one of the smallest fives in the NBA pass to Williams the Basers pull it in on the wing matan defended by Dort mcconnell sets a screen for Toppin [Applause] and Toppin throws it down boy the explosiveness of Obie Toppin can really shock the defense this guy gets excellent airspace and Mark Dagnol calls timeout here he wants to talk to his guys [Applause] a different look for Oklahoma City aaron Wiggins he’s checked in for George isaiah Joe comes in for Alex Caruso and Wallace subbed in for Gilis Alexander indiana also making some changes jackson comes in for Miles Turner and Aaron E smith subbed in for Hallebertton [Applause] joe with it he’s making his presence felt offensively with his scoring average up there at almost 13 points a game just five to shoot wallace finds Hardenstein williams from outside no good that puts him at two for six boy with his shot not falling right now it might be time to look in a different direction see if you can get your teammate started and a brief check of the stats for Williams he’s been fantastic over the last 10 games or so and he sits in the top 15 in points per game an absolute powerhouse offensively and back to your point he’s second in three-point accuracy a lot of that has to do with mental toughness it’s just hard to force him out of his comfort zone and the first one drops [Applause] that one misses they’ve been beating them to a lot of those loose balls and rebounds here to start joe can’t get it to go pacers leading by four and Doris when you look at Aaron Nesmith he is someone that has accepted readily more responsibility over time there’s no question Kevin and what I love is he didn’t let not playing early in his career affect his outlook in fact it almost added an edge and spurred him to incredible improvement he’s an excellent defensive player he’s worked hard to become a three-point shooter somebody defenses must now account for from range love the work put in and so it’s Oklahoma City with it after Indiana gets the three here’s Williams and the rejection by Jackson mcconnell scanning the floor pass to Matan to the paint and Jackson throws it down adding to their advantage trying to find a way to blow this one open one of the things they’re doing is identifying favorable matchups and then going at them awesome rewind courtesy of the AT&T 5G Slam Cam here’s Williams following the score by Indiana hartinstein with it hardenstein with a screen on McConnell wallace outside and there’s the whistle 3-second violation gilgis Alexander checked in for Oklahoma City [Applause] indiana leading by nine mcconnell finds Toppin [Music] and the layup’s good off the glass toppins’s got eight points and there’s a pattern starting to take shape here they’re working it inside and getting good shots from close range shot clock and game clock separated by less than 6 seconds here’s Gilis Alexander and he can’t stop this drought another miss indiana’s gotten just two of six to fall from three-point range so far in the first here’s Matan no shot from deep three-point land and he got that one up in time but doesn’t go in and as we conclude the first quarter a one-sided game so far pacers lead by 11 and for 2K Sports we’ll be back here at Paycom Center right after this and welcome back to the second quarter of action plenty of basketball left to play but this one has been one-sided so far and guys we’ve seen a confident looking Pacers team out there well they use the fast break to generate some easy buckets before the defense could get set and we know this every team in the league now seems to be looking to play with pace thunder trailing by 11 on the court for Indiana they’re going with Matin and Nmith on the wings toppin is out there with Isaiah Jackson and it’s McConnell in at the one spot and there’s the basket whistle blows and a chance for a three-point play going to the line for one continues to develop his playmaking abilities giljis Alexander is an unselfish team player and this is his first trip to the line tonight and of course we’d all like to see his percentage at the line improve but he just does not have the touch right now he’s in the 60s greg you look at the great coaches what are one or two of the most important qualities for success that you see well for me Kevin I think you got to be able to adapt tactically i mean that’s huge and especially in the playoffs but most important can can you motivate and unify a locker room that leadership quality is what really puts a coach over the top boy when you think about Benedict Mathan this guy is a talented aggressive scorer his ceiling very high he’s going to have to be a little more efficient it’s his first trip to the line and just a top-notch free throw shooter this year all the way up there at 88% two shots [Applause] re good mathin well you think about Benedict Matine and all he offers offensively has a polished shooting motion and plenty of confidence matherine hits them both well this guy has multiple ways to get to the free throw line and boy has his stroke been on the money here’s Gilis Alexander lays it up off the glass gilg Alexander’s got his third basket of the night yeah teams will try to get physical with SGA but make sure you understand that wiry frame is big time strong and it’s blocked by Gilis Alexander and he’s able to get it back and yes it’s good and the Pacers lead by 10 the edge on the glass is the difference it’s allowed them to build this lead wallace the pass to Hartenstein here’s Gilis Alexander he’s covered by McConnell down low here’s Hartinstein and the dunk by Hartinstein and that’s a little lack of fight at the defensive end absolutely at least on that slam you’re right that’s one way to let a team back in the game right you could see on that possession one side playing with a little desperation the other side losing focus so it’s the Pacers now the Thunder making the shot tappen kicks to McConnell shot clock at three tries it from 19 and he didn’t get quite enough under that one well he’s a quality mid-range shooter but he can’t get that one to go and we’re about two minutes into the second quarter here wallace with the ball mattherin picks him up wallace against Matan from 18 ft away wallace misses indiana leading by eight outside matan back to McConnell indiana moving the ball around matan finds Nesmith [Applause] outside matan there’s the triple buries it from three-point range matan’s got the lead up to 11 now for Indiana boy a lot of confidence to Matan’s game that efficiency has to get better but he is not shy yeah it counts joe’s got his first points of the night yeah they’ve raised their shooting percentage in this quarter and they’re starting to get on track and Rick Carile decides to call timeout wants to talk some things over might be seeing some things to adjust [Applause] [Applause] and Indiana making a change here neards checked in now we have a chance to see the teams that have been the NBA’s best three-point shooters this month number one the Thunder yeah boy they’ve been hot from three this past month that’s what happens when you have good shooters who get into a good rhythm quarter number two around 3 minutes gone by mcconnell against Gilg Alexander and McConnell gets it to go mcconnell’s got four points this quarter i mean the number of points they’ve scored in the paint already here is eyeopening gilis Alexander that’s a two-pointer goes to the fadeaway and cans it and his presence as a scorer it it just has a calming effect for the rest of the team he’s a fallback option whenever they need one now here’s Jackson taking a look at his numbers he averages about seven points a game jackson a screen on Wallace shot clock at five indiana needs to get a shot off whoops there’s the 24 second shot clock violation so they’ll turn it over let’s check out the standings in the Western Conference and see how the playoff race is shaping up look at Oklahoma City right now they’ve acquired the second best record in the conference and when I look at Oklahoma City with the regular season they’ve enjoyed it has to be wondered at this point if they’re the team to beat this postseason catching up on the changes for Oklahoma City chad Homegrren he’s checked in for Aaron Wiggins and it’s Alex Caruso in for Wallace now Gilis Alexander he picked up 30 points in their last win against Memphis and the other thing guys he really got after it on the backboards what a complete game for this guy one guy who now seems to be a perennial MVP candidate Shay Gilis Alexander Dors he is rocketing up the charts he is Kevin there’s no doubt about it he can consistently put 30 on you like it’s absolutely nothing he gives you everything else as well including incredible leadership and great teammate skills thunder trailing by six joe with it pass to Caruso outside gil Alexander six for 10 with that shot going in that’s a good game for a lot of guys in such a rhythm right now feathery touch he’s lighting them up mcconnell passes to Matherine some nice passing here by Indiana Jackson a screen on Caruso Naferin attacking all right a chance to check out the numbers for McConnell how’s the last month of basketball been for him getting around 12 points a game seven assists and four rebounds and and most important of all is his passing he’s a terrific distributor in their offense certainly one of his best attributes creating offense even when it looks like there’s nothing there free throw good Matin and they have yet to miss a shot from the line here this quarter so he picks up just one from the line that time he does a great job of drawing contact and getting himself to the line something he didn’t do in the first period [Applause] caruso looking for an opening gilg Alexander a screen on Matan here’s Caruso the shot off that time matan with some nice defense pass to McConnell back to Matan the Thunder pull it in hartinstein’s got his seventh rebound of the game with that last one gilg Alexander against McConnell to the right side hands Denise Smith jackson a screen on Homegrren here’s Nmith jackson kicks to McConnell offensive rebound and the dunk by Jackson that’s what he gives you a big time presence on the glass and you know what Greg once he gets his hands on it he’s not even thinking about kicking it out no reason to do so there he was going to leave no doubt pass to Hartenstein over Jackson and again no good by Oklahoma City and hard work on the glass once again guys they put a lot of effort and focus on the backboard now Nith outside Matin down to five on the shot clock from outside the ark he scores the basket that’s field goal number three for him uh two trays now in the second quarter after he hit one in the first thunder trailing by 10 pass to Hartenstein on the wing gilis Alexander back to Hartinstein throws it down as the official calls the foul it may be a three-point play it’s going to be on Isaiah Jackson well Shay Gilis Alexander facilitating for his team right now what a pretty pass and some stats here guys the scoring breakdown for the Pacers well they haven’t wasted any time getting into a groove from deep putting up and hitting a healthy amount of three-pointers thus far yeah and their assertiveness in the paint so far tonight has been impactful they’re really making it hard for the interior defense indiana leading by seven [Applause] hallebertton outside driving inside it’s rebounded by Hartinstein hartinstein’s got rebound number eight now on the night dort kicks to Gilis Alexander over Jackson gilas Alexander good gilis Alexander’s got 15 well this second quarter has proven to be a turnaround this guy looking much more comfortable all of a sudden and Rick Carile decides to call timeout he wants to check in with his team and regroup heat heat [Applause] alex Caruso he’s checked in for Hartinstein [Applause] [Applause] hallebertton feeling it out a bit inside and the rejection by Hungren jet Hungren sending it back he is willing to take on any kind of challenge williams from outside and the rebound goes to the Pacers they’ve led by as many as 11 points and they haven’t been able to turn it into a big lead but their rebounding advantage is starting to add up tohin sets a screen for Jackson and a wideopen look for Hallebertton the three-pointer no good well they have the advantage but you still feel like this guy needs to find a way to get himself going the shots good and looking to get stronger homer fights through the bump tons of time for him to grow into that frame caruso against Hallebertton pass to Nemo [Applause] toppin with it five on the clock mcconnell kicks to Hallebertton shoots over Caruso and once again off the mark by Indiana and Gilis Alexander’s got the ball here for the Thunder it’s a three-point game homegrren with a screen on McConnell homegrren can’t hit indiana’s gone two for five from three-point land since the end of the first nimhard the pass to McConnell indiana moving it around jackson setting the pick here for Hallebertton yep that one goes in there hallebertton’s got seven points oklahoma City’s gone one of two on three-pointers here in the second quarter so far dort finds Gilis Alexander homegrren with a screen on McConnell and here’s Gilis Alexander outside knocks down the three ball he’s got 18 he’s been a marksman this period their shot mechanics finally in sync pass to Nemo [Applause] now to [Applause] now Jackson [Applause] here’s McConnell offensive rebound here’s Nemhard defended by Dort good on the shot and the Pacers lead by four and Kevin they dialed up their activity this quarter we’re seeing them convert a lot of those second chance opportunities here’s Gilis Alexander good again he’s on tonight 9 for13 shooting well they’re not behind because of this guy he is putting on a tremendous run mcconnell against Gilas Alexander hallebertton for three trains the three-pointer hallebertton’s got five points now in the quarter bringing that three-point percentage up quite a bit this quarter shooting it well the lead’s going to get a little bit bigger if they can keep this up now here’s Williams he’s someone who’s a factor on any given night averaging more than 22 points a game 50 seconds left in the first half at the elbow it’s Jackson and they double up Jackson and the ball’s tied up so we’ll have a jump ball you two players a sensational block that definitely deserves another look and this is how you protect and grow a lead by making a huge effort on that end of the floor pass to Williams trying to break that ice cold streak happy to see that one go in after missing six of his nine shots today and it’s encouraging to see Dort drop dimes like that wanting to round out this part of his game hallebertton outside fires the three good and McConnell gets the assist hallebertton’s got 13 points and they’ve done a great job knocking down those long range shots here in the second shooting just over 40% from downtown here’s Gilas Alexander shock up two there gilas Alexander’s got 22 points boy the consistency he’s had tonight has been impressive really steady from the field and that shot was up in time but doesn’t go in tyresese Hallebertton has been on display for Indiana he ends up dropping in two from distance making a difference from long range in this one and we’ll be right back after this [Applause] they’re [Music] doing some good things rebounding is not one of them maybe try a bigger lineup in the second half maybe run more guys to the boards maybe both listen to Coach O’Neal fellas what do you say we take a look now at the power rankings i think for Oklahoma City they’re pretty entrenched in their power ranking spot hard to see much movement from them this late in this year and that’s not a problem for them they have a Thank you for being with us now let’s send it to Kevin Harland for the second half tip [Music] and we’re halfway through this one plenty of basketball left in a game that’s been fairly even so far you know Shay Gilis Alexander has been exceptional here tonight guys yeah and just look at the numbers from the first half he has been very efficient i think they’ve taken their time they’ve showed incredible patience it’s a sign of a well coached ball club thunder trailing by four in the back court we’ll see Gilgis Alexander and Caruso dort and Williams up in the forward positions and it’s Homegrren in its center that’s the lineup in the game for Oklahoma City now here’s Gilis Alexander and it’s sent back by Turner well you’re talking 6’1 and big time length send it back Mr turner first trip to the line for him here and you know something I remember from their last game was how good he was at the line take a break take a break two shots that’s good from Gilg Alexander boy Shay Gilis Alexander has become a walking bucket folks this is now an elite NBA scoreer rebound got to get it big rebound let’s get it both good from the line that time indiana leading and here’s Hallebertton launches a three bangs home the trifecta hallebertton’s got 16 points defensively they just look out of sync not closing out on the threes in time seems like every time Greg we see Tyrese Hallebertton he’s wearing a big smile on his face talk about a guy who just loves this game hallebertton is such an enthusiastic player and that positive attitude really infects his entire team now here’s Turner after the miss from Shay Gilis Alexander good D by Homegrren pressured that shot by getting a hand up just as good as a block and he did it without fouling and that’s become an art changing shots without making contact gilgis Alexander homegrren kicks to Gilgis Alexander and foul on the shot he’ll shoot two at the free throw line well what a pump fake by Shay Gilis Alexander gets the defender committed and he’ll go to the foul line take a break take a break two shots rebound got to get it big rebel let’s get it get it get it pinch here pinch here that’s good from Gilas Alexander what you love about Shay Gilis Alexander is this young man’s work ethic he is a gym rat who is always looking for ways to improve gilgis Alexander hits them both pacers leading by three hallebertton basses to Matherine it’s Turner high post drains it from 17 ft out 10 points for him well you just love how Miles Turner goes right up with it right no hesitation catch and shoot back to Gildas Alexander and he drops in the layup off the glass they are just killing them on the interior and Hallebertton’s got the ball here for Indiana they’ve led by as many as 11 points it’s Nehard on the wing defended by Caruso Mattherin for three against Chad Homer with the rebound thunder trailing by three here’s Dort and a great assist by Gilis Alexander as that one goes in gilis Alexander’s got his eighth assist in the game hallebertton kicks to Topin [Applause] hallebertton against Gilis Alexander [Applause] a shot by Nehard no good yeah but the defenders draped all over him he just could not shake loose pass to Homegrren oklahoma City moving the ball around williams that’s good jaylen Williams lethal from deep folks you can’t allow him to get comfortable and so it’s Rick Carwle here calling timeout and coach has decided they need a moment to talk things over heat [Applause] heat [Applause] [Applause] heat [Applause] heat [Applause] [Applause] now we get a chance to check out Chad Holder over the last 10 games or so he’s really shown up averaging about 16 points seven rebounds and just over two blocks and you talk about defensive presence he’s the real difference maker on that end yeah he’s always somewhere around the ball finding ways to help his team by shutting down the opponents indiana trailing here pass to Near to the middle to end the run and it’s Matin getting it to go mathan’s got 14 points and inside Matan makes great use of his agility developing some instincts for how to get around in traffic and it’s sent back by Turner catherine with the ball dort covering a shot by Nehard no good oklahoma City has gone to the three-pointer 11 times tonight nailed five of them oh Jay Dub rising to the rim we see you Mr williams the Pacers have gone three of seven on field goal attempts here in the second half [Applause] gilas Alexander against Hallebertton over Gilg Alexander and a little luck that time but it drops hallebertton’s got it all tied up now for the Pacers gilg Alexander passes to Williams against Matan here’s Gilas Alexander the rebound by Turner turner’s got his fourth rebound in this one boy what a nightmare quarter for this guy he’s playing right into the hands of the defense at this point here’s Gilis Alexander the rebound by Hallebertton nothing seems to be going his way this quarter well not at the offensive end certainly he cannot buy a bucket right now now here’s Turner 10 points for him shoots over Homegrren gets the bucket and the foul that one on Homegrren for Miles Turner so much of this is about confidence you love to see him convert in there that is nice all right we’ll take a look now at how the points have been generated so far a scoring breakdown for the Pacers guys the D hasn’t had an answer for the three-point shooting which is why they continue to just fire away from D the other thing that’s been impressive is really just relentless driving the basketball doesn’t matter if the defense is there they are challenging them and getting it done now here’s Caruso a look at his stance he averages a bit over eight points a game homegrren dishes to Williams wants to get it to Homegrren and does no problems knocking that one down homegrown’s got seven and playing up tempo prolevel ball can be hard for some guys but Homegrrim has easily made the transition near with it defended by Caruso pass to Tophen here’s Matan fires from deep rebound by Williams outside Gilgis Alexander now here’s Caruso outside Gilgish Alexander it’s rebounded by Indiana turner’s got six rebounds here tonight williams against Matan pass to Hallebertton shot clock at six and the rebound goes to the Thunder gilis Alexander’s got his seventh rebound of the game with that last one [Applause] oklahoma City moving the ball around homegr against Tophen here’s Caruso gilas Alexander and again it’s Oklahoma City well you love that they’ve been able to rely on him time and time again you love the effort here late the Pacers have gone five of 12 from the field since the third quarter got underway [Applause] play that one on Dort i I love his shot selection today he set the bar for the rest of the team he’s made all three of his free throws so far and 74% yeah you know so so he probably wouldn’t mind seeing it a little bit higher hartinstein’s checked in for Oklahoma City aaron Nesmith has checked in for Indiana tj McConnell comes in for Andrew Nhar [Applause] and here now the Thunder trailing by two they’ll be playing host to Chicago for their next game and that’ll be the third of the four straight at home hartinstein can’t get it to go that’s the kind of D you need when he’s got the ball near the hoop they were all over him [Applause] now here’s Nith tight defense on him and it’s Mattherin missing well you simply have to shake that one off right you can’t let that kind of missed opportunity bother you child please look out cuz if Jaylen Williams wants to put it on the deck and get to the cup I would not lose my mind and step in front of him and great camera work showing up on the AT&T 5G Slam Cam and so it’s McConnell with it he’ll bring it up for Indiana pass Denise Smith at the elbow it’s Turner gil just Alexander against McConnell and here’s Albert and the rejection by Holren on the wing gilis Alexander he’s covered by McConnell back to Homegrren [Applause] the floater it’s rebounded by Nesmith indiana’s gone into a slump here from three-point range shooting just one of five here in the third outside Matarin shooting foul as the whistle blows he’ll shoot two free throws that one on Williams yeah that athleticism of Matan is what makes him such a tough one to guard for Indiana they have been getting it done at the line 10 for 12 free throw good matin and I like the drive of this kid matine really a team player and the Thunder making a switch here joe’s checked in catherine hits them both impeccable from the line since halftime outside Williams [Applause] it’s rebounded by Nesmith nesmith has got four rebounds now tonight pass to McConnell it’s stolen by Gilg Alexander and Gilis Alexander throws it down now Gil Alexander has length he has anticipation makes a defensive play and turns it into offense outside Matan Turner with a screen for Matan thunder with the rebound now here’s Williams he’s got 13 hartenstein finds Gildas Alexander coming back to Hardenstein turner with the steal and here we go oh Hallebertton heading to the hoop it’s good hallebertton’s got seven points for the quarter when you’re anticipating contact is coming you can prepare hallebertton excellent job on the conversion joe passes to Caruso and Aaron Nesmith gets the whistle that time that is his first foul of the game aaron Wiggins he’s checked in for Oklahoma City and Indiana with a change here too jackson’s checked in oh hit that gilg Alexander against McConnell lock at six nice move and the rejection by Jackson now here’s Nesmith covered by Wiggins outside for Hallebertton jackson with the screen puts up a deep three and Tyrese Hallebertton hits from deep and now a fivepoint Indiana lead well they’re calling his number time and time again and he is delivering and he gets it to go gil Alexander’s got 34 points those defenders just look a little bit gassed i mean they’re getting pushed around on that low block they’re coming gilas Alexander against McConnell hallebertton outside jackson setting the pick here for Hallebertton no good from outside oklahoma City has gone to the three-pointer 11 times tonight nailed five of them gilas Alexander against McConnell back to Gilas Alexander that’s right he can’t hit that time some solid defense there from Jackson kneesmith finds Hallebertton for the three trains it from beyond the ark hallebertton’s got 26 well they’re leading in large part because of the work he’s put in in this quarter this is nicely done pass to Gilg Alexander and the basket is good 36 points for Shay Gil Alexander i’ll tell you despite this guy’s strong play in this period they’re still behind someone else has got to step up hey hands up mcconnell against Gilis Alexander now here’s McConnell see right on him and this is his second trip to the line in the game and up to this point on the season he’s set a pace of right around 73% when he gets to the line the first free throw is good andrew Neard’s checked in for Nith and that one goes in two from the line that time here’s Gilg Alexander he’s got 36 ball six to shoot shot high post the shot will not fall and we’ve reached the end of the third it’s the Pacers leading by six and right after this we’ll bring you the start of the final quarter right here on 2K Sports rick Carile had some words for his team let’s hear what he had to say these guys are going to struggle guard movement but if we dribble dribble dribble they got one situation to play it’s too easy all right come on well this has been a great contest so far and I imagine the fourth quarter could have even more action in store for us and a look at the five for the Pacers to start the fourth quarter aaron Kneesmith is out there with Jackson it’s TJ McConnell then there’s Andrew Nemhar and it’s Hallebertton in its shooting guard mcconnell passes to Hallebertton and the foul called on Kase Wallace that’s foul number two for him here’s Nesmith over Wiggins kneesmith can’t get it to go gildish Alexander passes to Wallace i see you i see you hardenstein with a screen on Hallebertton here’s Wallace and the three off target pacers leading by six here’s Hallebertton [Applause] yep that one goes hallebertton’s got 28 dyres Hallebertton is putting in work right now this guy getting to his spots and scoring with ease wiggins kicks to Wallace [Applause] screen by Hartinstein and the dunk by Hartinstein and cutting into the lead with the big one hand throw down that’s how you get your team back into it [Applause] now Hallebertton [Applause] four on the shot clock makes it off the glass hallebertton’s got four points this quarter yeah give Hallebertton credit for staying with the play you’ve got to be able to fend off that defense and still finish wallace with a screen on McConnell to the inside that’s in and the Pacer lead is cut down to six that one coming from Wallace and guys all about hard work from this point on they’ve worked hard to create that high quality shot and then able to knock it down now here is Hallebertton jackson misses wallace looking for an opening the Pacers pull it in jackson’s got rebound number 10 tonight with that last one here’s Hallebertton uses the glass to finish the layup hallebertton’s got 32 points well you love when guards are unafraid to get to the painted area and finish go ahead Tyrese wiggins passes to Gilis Alexander hartinstein with the screen for Gilg Alexander down low and contact on the shot so he’ll be shooting free throws here wow they’ve made every free throw here in the second half that one is off alex Caruso he’s checked in for Wallace then for the Pacers Johnson comes in for Jackson and Toppin subbed in for Nmith no good at the strike this time his second misses also joe passes to Hartinstein joe good the chemistry has been terrific really impressed with their offensive execution hallebertton outside to the paint here’s Nemo it’s rebounded by Hartinstein hartenstein’s got rebound number 13 with that last one pass to Joe back to Gilis Alexander and the basket is good and he’s got a chance here for one more at the line fantastic ball movement they’re picking them apart with their passing miles Turner he’s checked in for the Pacers one shot rebel let’s get it get it get it pitch here and after attempting no free throws in the first half now he’s putting the defense back on its heels allebertton outside inside it’s Nemhard on the wing defended by Caruso hallebertton that’s good hallebertton’s got 34 points whoa sizzling from the field this half and that’s after a shaky start wiggins a screen on McConnell gil Alexander passes to Wiggins going to the rack with energy and the D afraid to cut him off yeah got to chalk that one up to some shaky defending yeah and give him credit for taking advantage in a close game those are the types of plays that can swing things in your direction here’s McConnell the Thunder making the shot a tad short but it’s good off the front iron you can’t just stop when there’s a pick set up got to fight over it as a defender you know exactly what that takes it takes energy it takes activity it takes intensity now here’s Gis Alexander with the floater and I would not test Turner and Miles has led the NBA in blocks and just has great timing on his jumps hallebertton kicks to McConnell toppin sends a screen for McConnell rebounded by Joe well this has not been his finest hour but give your teammates some credit for doing the job of stepping in to the inside [Applause] and that one is off good work defensively by Turner pacers leading by five bounce pass from McConnell that three off the mark frozen guys just ice cold unable to contribute offensively here’s Hartinstein that one drops for him hartinstein’s got four points in the quarter and you want him taking big shots for you in big moments that one was as easy as it gets boy when it’s this close you try not to give up these kinds of buckets boy you got to do better defensively pass to Oh good with the triple for Oklahoma City they’ve gotten into a pretty good groove going six of 10 here in the final quarter gildas Alexander passes to Caruso hey yo right here arinstein in the high post softly drops in the floater now just a one-point pacer lead boy that’s beautiful touch on the floater and let’s remember not everyone has that shot in their arsenal [Applause] [Music] now here is Hallebertton covered by Joe hallebertton no good caruso finds Gilis Alexander [Applause] down lowers [Applause] to take the lead and the rebound goes to the Pacers turner’s got doubledigit rebounds now in the game i see him [Applause] and that one clearly a foul gets the whistle and two shots coming up and now a chance to see what’s coming up for Indiana on Monday they’ll be matching up against Demar De Rozan and the Sacramento Kings then on Wednesday they’ll host the Charlotte Hornets and you know for that matchup with Denver there aren’t many other meetings that are as evenly matched as this one both teams can give and take punches and this one I think is going to come down to the wire and the Thunder with some changes chad Homegrren he’s checked in for Hartinstein williams comes in for Aaron Wiggins and it’s Dort in for Isaiah Joe and the Pacers also making a change bathan’s checked in [Applause] and he can’t hit the second well they should be looking at a three-point lead hopefully for them that miss won’t cost them and that’ll be two free throws coming up officials on the call with the foul what I love about Jaylen Williams he makes his presence felt on the game athleticism tireless work ethic and offensive skills that are just blossoming with each repetition shooting two big rebound got to get it big rebound big rebound let’s get it get it get it pitch here no good on that one you got it out you got it out and he sinks the second and so it’s Indiana with it they host the Kings after this game they start a three-game home stand with that game back to Hallebertton two free throws coming up and they call the shooting foul that one on Gilis Alexander and Tyresese Hallebertton one of the best offensive players in the league doris he is so fun to watch kev this young man is special and not only because of the flare and the skill as a passer the shot making ability to me it’s the joy he brings to the game and how that joy lifts his teammates around him that’s good from Hallebertton what we know about Tyresese Hallebertton this guy always ready to push the pace he’s got a ton of energy he’s willing to outrun and outwork other guys hallebertton hits them both so valuable to this team hallebertton gives them whatever they need when they need it this guy is both patient and prolific here’s Gilg Alexander and the dunk by Gilg Alexander just the kind of play they need in a game this close you know that’s the kind of aggression they want from their floor leader boy and not just the aggression the ability to get to the rim but how about the finish with intention Hallebertton inside the three-point line and yep finally drops after rolling around the rim and so it’s Oklahoma City with it it’s a three-point game gilg Alexander finds Dort pass to Homegrren here’s Williams some nice passing by Oklahoma City here here’s Gilg Alexander and the call on the shot that sends him to the line well there’s a level of aggressiveness that you must contend with with Gilas Alexander on the offensive end you love to see him force the issue shooting two that’s good from Gilgus Alexander i got to push it on the miss push it on the miss he’s perfect from the line this time indiana’s gotten off to an 0 for two start from downtown here in the fourth quarter here’s Near out to the right wing toppin no one around him gets it to go from beyond the ark and the Pacers lead by four and they have been relentless from deep and you see the defense trying to react but to no avail well that’s the whole point isn’t it if you space the floor well enough it’s almost impossible for the defense to account for everyone his first triple of the second half that makes three for the game indiana’s gone one to three from outside the arc since we’ve reached the fourth quarter [Applause] turner for three thunder with the rebound gilas Alexander with it stolen here’s Nemhard as to Matherine [Applause] drops in the layup for two and wow Matan the youngster making his presence known go gilg Alexander against Hallebertton he gets it in there gil Alexander’s got 48 what a huge boost he’s giving them here four or five in this fourth quarter has come up big and Rick Carile decides to call timeout he knows every possession is critical now [Applause] thank you and now the latest from our reporter David Aldridge well during that last break Kevin I got a chance to hear Rick Carile’s message to his team now they preached the little things in the huddle they asked their team to battle on those 50/50 balls one extra possession could be all the difference back to you Kevin thank you David here’s Hallebertton offensively guys he’s been something else almost 40 points right now every time he touches the ball something good happens here’s Turner hits some rim on the way in and the bucket’s good and that’s 19 points for Miles Turner thunder trailing by three gilis Alexander looking around turner against Homegrren outside dort Williams for three in for his seventh make in 14 trials and he just seems to always deliver in the clutch and he’s got it going right now that’s who they want taking the big shot now here is Hallebertton shoots over Gilg Alexander hallebertton no good oklahoma City has gone two or three in the fourth quarter from long range good shooting so far gilas Alexander against Hallebertton connects again my goodness 50 for the eight yep he is putting on a show [Applause] 127 left to play here in the fourth hallebertton that’s good oh a big time pivotal bucket tyresese Hallebertton we see you [Applause] gilg Alexander against Hallebertton homering the screen here’s Gilg Alexander and he banks in the layup gilg Alexander’s got 52 points what a moment for Gilas Alexander in the clutch yes sir [Applause] 104 left in the fourth quarter of this one turner with the screen hallebertton for three rebound by Williams that is fantastic defense on one of the best three-point shooters in the league didn’t give him an inch of room gilg Alexander against Toppen the Pacers pull it in this is a huge possession and this is where all the hard work pays off you have to be able to execute under pressure extremely fortunate they didn’t lose the ball there [Applause] 35 seconds left in the fourth quarter and so it’s Rick Carw here calling timeout and he knows there’s no room for mistakes and wants everyone on the same page in terms of strategy here any thoughts and they’ve got plenty of time to get a basket well they’ve got to be aggressive guys because the defense doesn’t want to foul here [Applause] heat [Applause] heat heat [Applause] heat here’s [Applause] Nemhard defended by Caruso six on the shot clock toppin finds Hallebertton it’s in he has tied up this game oh what a shot and you can’t get a bigger bucket than that i’ll tell you it takes confidence to pull the trigger in that situation you love guys who relish the moment and Mark Dagno calls timeout pivotal moment in this game he’s not taken any chances he’ll call time on the wing Gilas Alexander he’s covered by Hallebertton and big time bucket there they’ve got to play for a stop here with a two-point lead most important thing no open threes here’s Hallebertton oh off target and so they foul intentionally had to foul and on that occasion to stop the clock that’s the enemy in this situation and he cannot get the first one to drop tough one to miss he’s able to hit the second one and that makes it a three-point lead so a close
