Jokic has reached the ceiling a one ring player can reach π£ #nba #jokic #nuggets
for Joker historically he is now only chasing legends and the only way to catch legends is to do legendary things they needed a legendary not necessarily series but you know sequence of games from Joker to get past this team beat a 68 win team you know and they didn’t get it and so the here is I think Joker right now before we show the graphic is kind of capped at where so he is and for me in a tier outside of that top 12 with Dr j and Moses and for more contemporary he’s higher than but in the same tier as Giannis Durant those group of guys the 12 guys ahead of him and we can argue about the order but I think we’d all agree on who the 12 are we can show it to you this is how many conference finals and NBA finals games they played so Akeem is I guess the outlier at only 39 steph is still playing obviously like but we’re 66 is the second lowest then everyone else is in the 70s 80s or well over 100 joker’s at 14 for context giannis is at 15 though like the only way he can crack that group is either a bunch of super deep runs but really what he needs cuz the other thing this group has is all of them have at least two and if not three and so I think we’re probably going to look back and say that like from 2019 to 2025 they should have won more than one but they you know in 19 they lost a tough game seven they wouldn’t have won anyway the 20’s the bubble jamal Murray gets hurt they win their title last year i think it’s a weird spot for Joic because he has so much of his prime left but I don’t think there’s anything he can do short of consistent deep playoff runs or championship to to move up any higher i think he’s kind of re I think he’s reached the ceiling a one ring player can reach and I mean even though I’m not a Count the Rings guy they it’s not that they’re totally irrelevant like and when you look at it those other guys lived in May and June in the postseason and he just hasn’t now I’m not putting it on him but I just think that’s the reality

Who the tell listens to Nick Wrong π To even have a 4-6 loser in front of all these winners is just mind blowing and shows you that Nicks Wrongs knows nothing about basketball and stays cashing those unklutch paychecks. I have Joker above Lebron because Lebron won all his championships with superteams and barley won those
I thought basketball was a team sport
I agree where he is ranked but the nuggets have failed him. The roster has gotten worst on paper every year since the tile. They were fortunate guys like brown and Gordon made huge jumps in their game but the organization just keeps losing vets with no real additions
I think the comparison is complicated. the individual stats are kind of inflated (in this era) and the team success / rings on the other hand is way more difficult and less dependand on your best player. You need the right match up and the whole roster has to deliver. In my Opinion its fair to say that Jokic is right now in that second tier of legends! Which is already crazy!!!
Jokic got stopped by a dude a foot shorter than him. This is more embarrassing than LeBron being stopped by Barea.
That helps the true π case
His career is starting to look like Giannis, one ring multiple mvps but starting to look like he's not gonna make it back to the finals despite still being a top player in the league
Thatβs all he goin get lol
This sports caster is an idiot.
Put Joker in LA or Boston he would win 3 in a row.
Jokic has been on a team with no other all stars and even won a finals, the GM needs to make moves for the betterment of the team not against. Jokic needs help and still made it a game 7 two years in a row with an inferior squad, the only ceiling is the one the GM created by not making any decent moves. This is just facts.
Nick please just get a haircut and shut up.
It is a team sport. Jokic can't do more than what he already did. If he had one single consistent scorer they could do it…
Don't think he cares
Joker may very possibly catch Hakeem. And the only thing that matters is the champions and he needs to win one more. These game counts are very weird and feel like designed to discredit Jokic because of his many second round exits. And in the ancient nba there were less teams so less playoff rounds, you only need win one round or sometimes none to be in the conference finals. So Wilt and guys are in the conference finals automatically every year. I mean lol Nick.
This guy is crazy!! Jokic is improving every year. He played best season in hystory of nba!
If porter jr didnt have a shoulder injury i doubt wed be having this dumb conversation.. like … are you serious ? Ceiling ? Hes the runner up to the mvp. Isnt that literally the ceiling unless he won it ?
The issue is, Jokicβs teammates either show up or are historically bad. Like so bad itβs not worth passing the ball bad, which at that point you canβt fault him for not dropping 75 points
Jokic just turned 30. 3 players besides Jokic played well for the Nuggets in the playoffs and they went 7 games against 2 of the best teams in the League. OKC about to route the rest of the competition. 3 more adequate roll players and he will start running off rings.
this metric makes no sense, he has less conference finals games played than Giannis because he swept the Lakers when he won the title
Games played in the finals/conference finals isnβt the best metric: Joker swept the lakers in the conference finals (4 games) and beat the heat in 5 games in finals. A better metric would be just series played.
