good morning Raptor Freaks alexi outs here and we got the Thursday think tank and it’s the last Thursday think tank before the 2025 NBA draft which will be held next Wednesday and Thursday and well I’m really ramping up and finalizing my top five suggested picks for Messiah and Bobby for the draft and I’m I think I’m ready to lock them in and say these are the five people that I’d most like them to draft i’m not going to worry about the 39th pick at this point i want to make it a wild card surprise but in the ninth pick I have five names that I’d like Bobby and Messiah to target towards uh possibly getting one of them now Bobby Webster did the Hello and Welcome podcast a couple uh last Saturday actually and uh it’s a very good interview if you guys have not watched the interview with Alex and William Lou uh with Bobby Webster at Holt Renfruit from last Saturday afternoon you need to watch it it’s mustwatch for any Raptors Nation people that care about the team if you want to be knowledgeable about the Raptors you have to watch this podcast because you’re listening to Bobby Webster speak with his own words from his own mouth about the Raptors and honestly I wish more journalists down south would watch him so they could understand what the Raptors are doing better because Messiah and Bobby normally when they’re in interviews they’re very explicit and clear about their plans and what they’re trying to do with the Raptors i don’t get why there’s so much confusion all the time i think it’s just partly n I’m not listening i’m not going to listen to what y’all are doing and just act like y’all don’t know what you’re doing and just cause confusion i feel like that’s half the energy of the United States media about the Raptors is that they they don’t honestly put any energy into trying to pay attention and if they do by accident pay attention and hear something they’re going to act like they didn’t hear it with amnesia it’s just how it is so today I’ve changed my top five drastically honestly sure number one is still common malaw watch if common falls to nine just take the Duke center there’s no ifs ands or buts don’t mess around with that but the the signs are that Common may even be a top three pick at this point so falling to nine may not be realistic but I’ll bet I would say this if Bobby Webster has a top five he wants to draft that common Malawatch is on that top five i’ll bet you money that he’s one of those five guys that they have because that’s what Bobby said in this interview with William Louu and Alex Wong he said that they’ve already got their five guys in mind they have narrowed it down and Bobby is very explicit in this interview about what the Raptors look for we look for good character hard worker yeah and a little bit of an X factor a little chip on their shoulders yeah that he said Jamal Shed’s a great example of this that’s what I’m saying there you could pay attention to who the Raptors get and there’s a there’s a certain uh mold there’s a certain type of individual that the Raptors zero in on and yeah this guy’s a Raptor that’s what I say you know looking around the league and people suggest trades and people come here all this time i say “No man green light red light red light on this dude this guy’s not a Raptor he doesn’t have the Raptors characteristics he’s not a hard worker he’s a he’s he’s not a good teammate he’s a toxic person and Bobby let it be known yesterday that all these draft prospects have been coming to Toronto to work out for our team to see if we want to draft them well they’re watching them like a hawk i was exactly right i’ve been saying this for years that Bobby Bobby Webster said for 48 hours when they have the draft prospects around them they are watching them for everything they watch them when they don’t think they’re being watched they said that “Oh you come in and you kiss all of our asses and you’re really nice.” You know we know that you might be prepared by your agent to do certain things a certain way to make the best first impression but we’re watching you all the time we want to see how you treat the server Lex yeah even if he’s wearing a Boston jersey we want to see how you talk to our interns do you talk down to the lower people on the staff as far as the people that aren’t as paid as much or prestigious sure you’ll be really nice to Messiah but what are you doing with Shelby are you nice to Shelby that’s part of what they’re looking at too and uh they’re taking all of this in and they are analyzing things and they’re figuring out who the knuckleheads are who the good toxic the good ones are and the toxic ones are they’re figuring out who’s got that dog in them who’s got that that little bit of extra like Kyle Lowry yeah that he even mentioned OG and Pascal and Fred and he said “These are guys that we selected because we knew they had chips on their shoulder and they had something to prove.” Yeah so I love this once again Bobby Webster thank you for doing an interview with Hello and Welcome podcast it was illuminating you’re amazing guy we You guys cleared the air on your CIA rumors which is fantastic we’re still going to use this even though it was a failed interview attempt but he didn’t actually work for the CIA but that’s the thing he had the aptitude and the smarts and probably the ability to do it if he had gone in that direction but he did it and thank God he’s the GM of the Toronto Raptors that’s what I say right there yeah Bobby’s a badass man bobby lives in Cabbage Town that’s right let’s go Bobby Webster let’s go thank you for doing that interview man you’re amazing so yeah the top five for the Raptors hopefully coincides a little bit with the top five for this guy that I want to put out there again of course Asa Newell is still my second favorite choice for this draft asa Newell of the Georgia Bulldogs please Bobby Webster please tell me that that man is on your top five for the draft maybe the top five that you have is only the really really high lottery picks but I’m gonna tell you right now Ace New is not a reach at number nine it will make you look good down the road i’m telling you right now we want some sort of you know we we wanted a Maxi type player for a while so we got it quickly we want a Claxton type player well this is where we get it in this draft because there’s a couple of options for a player that’s very similar to Nicholas Claxton or even Derek Lively the second as far as players in this draft that have those kind of attributes yeah there’s like two or three of them on my list in my top five and one of them is the cover picture of this chat jean Bar is a 18-year-old kid who’s 6’1 who has an over seven foot wingspan he runs the floor and he’s very Claxton X that’s what I’m saying clax Claxtonesque is what we’re talking about here we want somebody who’s Claxtonesque a guy who can play the five very well and defensively but is also a floor runner and if we can add a three-point shot with this person along with it that’s fantastic and Ace of New Well Jean Barangair they both fit the the the put to the tea but you know what jean is not my number three choice at this point i have switched it up once again joan you are now my fourth favorite choice and my third favorite choice has changed overnight last night it’s Thomas Sorber yeah guys listen i went and watched some more Thomas Sorber from Georgetown Hoya and uh there were some things that struck me first of all there’s parallels to Thomas Sorber with OG Anobi and that is that he’s hurt right now og was very hurt at the end of his Indiana University career and his draft stock dropped and that was part of what you know Messiah and Bobby noticed that this kid’s really really good but some people are sleeping on him because he’s hurt right now and there’s no guarantees well let’s get Dr alex in there let’s let look at him and see what the medical’s like and well maybe this injury will clear up and OG will be a badass well that’s what I’m saying some ways these are really good players to look for players that are hurt at the end of their college career because sometimes they don’t get looked at correctly and they don’t get mocked right i have seen Thomas Sorber the range of 10th pick all the way to like 25th pick but the thing about Thomas is that he has an NBA ready body he runs the floor extremely well he’s an extremely good shot blocker and not only that he has a very very very good passing ability already and to me those are really really good positive things those three things that he’s been hurt and his draft stocks been hurt for that that he should be maybe a top 10 pick that he has a multiple attack blocking uh defense where he will jump multiple times and he will stop people with multiple efforts to block their shot and he’s also good at blocking people from behind from the side every which way he in fact is very Ibaka-esque to me guys in some ways i see Thomas Sorber and I see uh our late our newest version of Serge Ibaka coming to our team if we draft him as he’s very very strong already he’s an enforcer he has an NBA body already and in some ways he would not be that much of our project he’d probably be able to play for us at a very high level within the first two years of his career the other thing I love about him is he’s unselfish and I’ve seen him pass from outside in from inside out and even on his ass falling out of bounds he makes amazing passes to people so he has a proclivity to connect with people and get the ball to the right places and which is something that is really really important if you’re gonna play for coach Rayakovic so I like those three things immensely you know he has some really good post moves and he muscles and he plays with his size and his strength and he makes room for himself he doesn’t shy away from contact and those are some of the things I really want in the player we draft because this is a very talented big man draft and it’d be a damn shame if the Raptors cannot make the ninth pick line up with a center because there are some really really good ones up there and Thomas Sorber has become my third best choice for this draft all of a sudden overnight jean Baringer is uh fourth and I have bumped Noah Aseni out i bumped Carter Bryant out i went and looked at Carter Bryant some more yesterday and I was like you know what man that guy is he’s an athlete but he’s still tethered to the ground in some ways and I don’t trust him and also in some ways I feel like Carter Bryant is being kind of like uh suggested to us by nefarious places that don’t want good things for us so I I’m off on Carter Bryant at this point because he’s not a true center and he’s not exactly what we’re looking for and same thing with Noah Sen i’m off on both of them they both fell off my list in the last day and well my top five officially is as of right now common malawatch as new Thomas Sorber Jean Barangair and Maxim Renault that’s right i bumped up Renault into the that I know it’s not realistic the Raptors will pick Maxim Renault at number nine it’s a bit of a reach but maybe it isn’t maybe Bobby Webster went and talked to Renault and he’s like this kid is so smart honestly you know he’s going to shoot so well from that position and he’s just this kind of player that you know what in some ways we could pick him at nine and it won’t look bad in like the years to come because that’s what it’s all about y’all it’s not about mock drafts and what idiots at Bleacher Report think or dumb asses doing live uh drafts in front of us that don’t know what the [ __ ] they’re talking about no this is about what the GMs of the league see and some of them don’t see things the same way no they don’t and Bobby Webster actually revealed one of the secrets about our scouting department yesterday he was really open kind of telling too much at times is that we don’t have scouts that take care of regions all their scouts take care of everywhere and they all look at all the people all at the same time so that they all kind of have a overall view of the whole entire world of scouting at any given time there’s not one guy just got Europe there’s not one guy just got Asia there’s not one guy who’s just got Africa no they’re all looking all over the place their whole team of scouts and that way there’s no competition between like because this is true this has happened historically in the NBA you’ll have scouts for like a team let’s say the Sixers and you have Adam Sandler going to Eastern Europe and looking for Bo Cruz and you know he he goes there and he’s finds his one guy and he’s like “This is my one guy to make sure that I get my uh keep my job as an uh scout for the Sixers i have to make sure that I sell him better than the other regions for the players that they discover because that’s part of the problem in the old NBA is that at least for some teams still in the NBA is that they have regional scouts who champion their scout that they found the person and they kind of like push them and they argue with each other with in the team about who guy from which region’s better well the smart the Raptors have everybody looking everywhere so they can kind of gauge how things look and the example Bobby used in the interview was Trey Young in Oklahoma and Luca Donuch in uh Slovenia and as far as like you know well look this is the difference and if you had only one guy looking at Luca you know that’s part of the problem with what some of these teams mess up on is that they have specialized scouts for regions and it messes things up so it’s the Raptors have a team of scouts they’re very good i’ll bet you Bobby and Messiah are number one and number two and uh they all watch the same people all together and they all kind of come to their own opinions seeing the whole realm of everything the internet is fantastic for this kind of thing that you can scout the whole entire world at this point without having to go everywhere geographically so yeah it’s very interesting what’s going on here with the draft let’s hear what y’all’s opinions are the phone like Thomas Sorber and Jean Baringer and Maxim Renault these are these are my top five picks i’m telling you this time I’m not even going to care about I had a bottom five for the 39th pick which is still like Rashir Fleming Roco Zakowski Yannik Cohen Neerhousen and Ryan Cal Brener but this is really just like backup plan centers at the the second round pick but I really feel like at that point they should draft the most talented player that they think is available in the draft left then I think that they should flip it this year i think that they should go for positional need in the ninth pick and go get the best talent available at 39 and that is the way they should handle this draft because honestly they could get a lottery pick this is what Bobby said this is an important pick because it’s a lottery pick it’s a ninth pick and they haven’t had many lottery picks in the era of Messiah and Bobby because they’re that good they don’t we don’t lose hardly ever so we don’t end up in the lottery so Larry picks or Yaka Purle Scotty Barnes Grady Dick uh that it’s really just that handful they haven’t really drafted near the top of the draft Harley at all and well a ninth pick is going to be a pretty monumental guy so we need to get a true center a guy that will actually be able to play center for the Raptors in the years to come that’s right none of this stuff none like Koko you know Koko was a second round flyer and well we predicted him we actually had him on our top five suggested list for the Raptors uh we we had suggested Jonathan Mo last year and he picked they picked Jonathan Mthan Mobo in the first pick of the second round so we’ve been right with some of these suggestions for Bobby Messiah to draft yeah we’ve been right at times so let’s hear what y’all media are confused about the Raptors bobby Webster and Messiah Jiri are very open and honest about what they’re doing to the point where they’re not messing up proprietary knowledge of what they’re doing yeah it’s crazy man you know it’s interesting bobby was talking about how it’s going to change because NIL and one of the things he’s he said and honestly a lot of what Bobby said is like stuff that we echo here all the time we’re on top of things and he understands the parody of the league he understands that also the NIL is going to change things coming up soon and that the draft classes will be weaker for a little while because guys are going to stay in school and earn that money but one of the weird side effects that Bobby brought up that they’re going to have to think about is you know bringing in new players from the college is going to be totally different than ever before because before kids didn’t have no money they’re coming in and they’re you know you have to do certain things to help young people come into the NBA and teach them things about money about uh the the life of being an NBA player well in some ways these players are going to be coming in with money already because they’re going to come in with millionaires already like Cooper Flag is this year and uh there’s a totally different way of wooing uh young uh young players from college coming up and it’s going to be a little bit more extravaganza because you know in some ways these kids are going to be wealthy already and it’s going to be a totally different kind of game uh to kind of work with them in some ways I bet you this will mess up some of the bad apples before they even get the NBA the instant money in college could actually weed some of them out early with bad behavior or bad stuff happening because the money messes them up so it’ll be interesting to see how the NIL shakes out over the time as far as this effect on players entering the NBA and you know what NBA teams have to do to prepare to kind of interview them and see if they can get them interested in coming and play for them or be a draft pick for them i’m reading this morning that Ace Bailey is not going to work out for the Sixers it’s crazy man this is so stupid the uh this guy is really not a smart person i’m getting uh Ace Bailey you know what I’m saying i’m figuring that out right now so yeah i don’t think he’s gonna I don’t think he’s gonna be a top three pick in the end guys because in some ways he’s showing some of that stupid energy ace Aras Bailey yeah all right let’s keep going in the chat trevor work to do today and the Pacers need to play their game correctly and those Pacers fans they better come with the energy tonight that’s for sure smooth saying game seven’s anything can happen i expect the MVP game from SGA tonight he doesn’t want him to mess around and lose he needs to go and take care of business tonight i don’t know the vibes I feel right now are that Oklahoma City I was saying earlier this week I think Indiana will win this but I’m not very confident in the health of Hallebertton right now and uh I feel like he is going to fail tonight and it’s going to be really bad for his legacy and I I feel sad for him that’s why you don’t do stuff like this man you don’t ever mess with the basketball gods and being you know kind of arrogant you really don’t do this Tyrese because who the contingencies are depending on who picks where and that’s exactly what Bobby said it’s like we really just got to watch and see how people pick and then we’ll make our decision from who’s available still you know it’s this is really simple stuff i don’t understand why fans need to make it so complicated and think it’s all this and all that now the Raptors know what they’re doing and they’re very much on top of it very very much on top of it cass is here good morning everybody good morning to you Cass cass has a lead on me right now in the fantasy WNBA fantasy i’m really impressed he’s up by about 45 points over me right now and I’m like “Wow Cass actually is beating me right now.” So I got some work to do in the fantasy league right now fierce is over James right now mk is beating uh Edmond doubled them up actually uh Logical Raptors fanatic is winning his matchup with Kareem and Coolcat is losing now to JP’s Reese’s Nieces so get your WNBA fantasy team set up and yeah Cass you’re doing fantastic man i’m gonna have to do some work since you got the lead now right now on us man yeah let’s go g saying “A Bailey apparently cancelled his Sixers workout and refusing to work out for certain teams shaking my head wow he is going to kill his career before it even starts if this all true.” It’s all true and I’ve heard he’s canceled two different workouts now at this point and he’s an idiot he’s an absolute idiot and this is the kind of stuff that Bobby Webster is looking at people for when they come to the NBA that’s what I’m saying man you know what there’s so many good talented players from around the world at this point young basketball players you got to be the whole package you can’t just coast on your talent and honestly if you think you’re so good that you can just coast on your talent and still be an [ __ ] and all that kind of stuff there’s very rare players that are like that very very rare because honestly the NBA and the machine of it will cut you out like that there’s been really talented players that never got a chance in the NBA so it’s not just about being a good player it’s about being a good person and if you’re not being a good person well you’ll find the door very early in the NBA there’s just because you can dunk just because you can hit a jump shot don’t mean you gonna make the NBA you got to be the right kind of character or person especially with the Raptors that’s a whole other level you could be a Charlotte Hornet and be a knucklehead but you can’t be a knucklehead and be a Toronto Raptor that’s for sure that’s right that’s right there you go cass is saying Bobby Messiah looking for players with the Rozen coat exactly i think that Bobby kind of did describe D Rozen Code d Rozen Co’s that chip on your shoulder that’s uh that never rest always want to work that uh you know character of treating people kindly and humbly but also being a fierce fierce competitor where you are taking it to people always and always striving and working hard to be better version of yourself every single day and that is the Rosen code and yeah I think Bobby described it pretty good on that podcast from Holt Renfruit that’s right uh Stargate saying if we go by Bobby’s interview on what they look for in picking players to be on the Raptors Derek Queen ain’t it yeah yeah i mean we can infer this right there yeah i don’t think Derek Queen’s one of the five no I don’t think he is he’s not one of my five he’s probably not one of Bobby’s five that’s for sure yeah derrick Queen ain’t doing nothing man smooth saying Ace wants a guarantee from the Sixers that he will be picked by them wow wow wow i don’t know what to say i don’t know what to say aras I think the Aras should be underneath your feet when you’re jumping not in between your ears my guy that’s what I say to that wow wow wow very demanding who the hell do you think you are seriously you went to Ruckers what did y’all do in the postseason all right let’s keep going seymour saying “I hope we get Newell.” I do too i like Newell a lot i really do like Newell i mean I think he is really the best choice after Common and it’s very likely Common won’t be there but if it’s a dream and he does drop all the way to us that’s great but I could also see Common going to dropping to eighth and the Nets picking him right before us and then we have to pick our pick right afterwards but I think ASA because he’s young just like Jean Bargera this is the thing those two guys are very similar now ace has got more physicality and strength already than Jeong but Jeong has they’re very similar kind of with their wingspan and their some of their bag like what they do very very similar i think Asa Newule is a better three-point shooter but I think Jean Baron Garrett is a better shot blocker and both of them can run the floor like anything that’s the other thing that’s really important is that we don’t want a slow lumbersome center we want these guys to be able to get up and down the court and they fit that and say so does Sorber too it’s just that they’re different you know we got two Claxtones kind of guys in Newell and Baron Garair and then you’ve got a guy who’s like Sergbaka at that kind of center in Thomas Sorber so I’m telling you man those three guys right there are my favorite picks after Common if we’re not going to be able to get the kid from Sudan Malawatch i think that those three guys are your best choices Bobby seriously Asa uh Thomas Sorber and Jean Barer because seriously Bener is once again he’s the most project of the three he is young and he does need weight put on him but if he gets some muscle on him the frame you can’t go wrong with this frame seriously he has one of the longest wingspans in this draft and uh he’s a true center and he these guys are all shot blocking machines that’s the thing all three of these guys I’m talking about along with Common of course are all shot blockers and rim protectors and actual defensive centers and this is what we need to add is we need somebody to come in after Yakob comes out and hold down the forward around the basket in the rim protection in the paint for the Raptors and so let’s not let’s not get it twisted we’re not looking for another shooter or a wing because we’ve got those guys on our team we’re not looking for a necessarily a dra a point guard at number nine because it’s like look Emanuel and shed are very promising and let’s not forget that we’re using other positions at point guard on our team like Scotty RJ and Yakob so I’m just saying and in some ways the other thing I love about these guys is they all show a proclivity to be able to pass out of double teams and being able to get passes in different play they have a little bit of skill in passing especially Sorber sora is a fantastic passer guys but that’s the thing we don’t want these guys to be selfish black holes and I’ve seen them all be very smart with passing the ball around too so yeah uh let’s see uh where are we here stargate saying “Those are my exact five centers too Lex uh for non-centers I like Rashir Fleming Jeremiah Fears and Casper.” Yeah yeah i don’t even want to look at that i don’t want to focus on that they pick somebody other than a center uh I may be a little disappointed but once again I got to trust them because they know what they’re doing with their job better than me you know what I’m saying so uh I’ll trust them if they pick a non center at number nine but I’ll be kind of disappointed i’m not going to lie i’ll kind of be disappointed right now yeah kind of be disappointed all right let me see where was I that was uh Stargate that said that those are your exact five centers seriously yeah i mean Common Asa Thomas Jean and Maxim those are my five favorite centers in this in this draft those are my five i honed it down i finally figured it out see saying Celtics sold for six billion last year and the Lakers sold for 10 billion this season where is the Knicks is worth more because the team owns the stadium interesting what’s our franchise value we’re worth four billion four billion yeah I’m pretty sure we’re part of what happened with us is Rogers buying out Bell and becoming the primary owner is all signaling new ownerships all over the league in different places and I wonder why these they’re getting into this maybe it’s because of sports betting maybe it’s because the new TV deals and stuff like that that’s coming up i mean the fact that Amazon’s involved with our our league as a broadcaster now you know I I don’t totally like what’s in the tea leaves that I’m seeing here and it’s interesting that the Bus family is sold the Lakers that is really weird man dr jerry probably would not be happy us but they have a better tax code i know I playing into this whole trope that it’s hard for us to compete with other teams like let’s take Stephen Adams that just resigned with the Rockets for another three years you know would we have been able to talk to Stephen Adams and get him to come up here over the Rockets probably not so free agency is the players choice and I hate to say it uh and and I don’t want to put our team down but it is really hard for us to entice free agents sometimes in this kind of way that’s why when we get a guy like YaKob who’s so loyal to Toronto Raptors fans start being loyal to him because honestly he could have easily told us to f off especially after trading him for Kawawaii uh he has loyalty to Toronto and he loves us and he’d want to play here for as long as he can so we need to embrace that and honor that and stop being little knuckleheads as far as wanting Yakob to leave because of this and this listen there’s not a whole lot of centers in this before the draft as far as maybe being undersized and too small for his position because he is short for his position but the thing about Jacobe that nobody realiz is his wingspan makes up for it Welcome podcast it’s just that they were delighted that he fell to 19 and they just had to snatch him there they they may have wanted to pick a center last year but honestly there weren’t good centers in the draft last year if you really think about it after Zack and maybe uh Klingan and at the beginning there really weren’t that i mean Kell Wear he went just before that there wasn’t really a good center at that point for us then but so it made sense but this is what I’m trying to say James there’s a lot of good centers in this draft near the top and uh I think that they should seriously do the positional need i don’t care who’s the because honestly a lot of these young players uh even if they’re really athletically talented or they look really good they don’t translate totally but once again if they pick another position at nine I’ll you’ll guys will be right on that tip and saying “Well they did pick the best available and uh well they must see something in them and I’m going to believe in it because well they know better than me.” That’s what I’ll say yeah clo saying “Uh Bailey already acting like a spoiled kid.” Yeah it’s not a good look this is really a bad time for people Sorber is his court awareness is really high level and he’s able to pass out and get his teammates involved that is something that’s absolutely essential if you’re going to play for Darko that’s what I’m realizing so we you know when I’m scouting these guys I am looking for their proclivity to pass out and if they’re black holes or not and a lot of these guys know when to pass out when they’re getting too uh trapped or doubleteamed so this is this is a really good attribute and that’s why I like Sorber you guys if you haven’t watched my Sorber watch him today and maybe you’ll see what I’m talking about with the the little bit of Ibaka-esque kind of stuff that I’m seeing in there he runs the floor really well too and he’s physical he’s got a good strong body already and he’ll be able to bang with the NBA size guys already let’s see smooth saying “I only remember Allan Iverson being like Ace and he made it.” Yeah Allen Iverson’s a special case you know listen you can’t be this other young players have come in the league acting like that and they found themselves the door really quick we don’t hear about them because in some ways we’re not supposed to because they were need to come correct once again like they did in the other games and they really need to cheer loud and give energy to the team on defense when the Pacers have played really high level defense they’ve been successful and the other thing is the Pacers cannot let the Thunder get them out of their offensive game that has been a huge problem in the last game is that uh the the Thunder really rattled the Pacers out of what they do so well on offense and they absolutely were ineffective for that and they can’t afford to do that for the 48 minutes all four quarters the Pacers have to be locked in and playing at a high level connecting with each other the way that they have done all season that’s been successful and so they really got to play their style and pace literally the Pacers need their own pace that’s the key to the game right there and if the Thunder can dog them and mess them up with the Dorture Chamber and Caruso there may be some problems here and that that may be the problem but the the Indiana fans can help them a lot tonight so these are the keys to the game to me as far as things they got to be themselves the Pacers have to be themselves if they don’t if they aren’t themselves they’re in trouble and if they don’t have Hallebertton effectively they’re going to really need the rest of the team to step up and be the Pacers the way they’re supposed to be so it may be the workouts are for the guys to just get extra workouts they may not be very you know what I’ve also noticed the Raptors sometimes don’t draft guys who they work out they really don’t you know it may very well be that there’s players that they won’t work out because they don’t want to all come all the way up here to work out and they don’t even want to put it on blast or embarrass them but they know enough about them from away without looking at them that they have confidence to draft them so I wouldn’t say that uh the list that the Raptors have worked out at OVO is just who they will consider understand that they will go and dra I don’t think Brady Dick came and worked out for us in Toronto seriously I’m not totally sure if he did you think Grady came up to Toronto before the draft and worked out with us maybe maybe i don’t totally remember but I would say this is just because we don’t publicly know that the Raptors worked somebody out doesn’t mean that they’re not considering them let’s just put it that way you know we’re not seeing Common Ma watch on there well it’s probably because Common and his people in Clutch they may be like “Well you’re not going to be First time seeing one of your videos. Like it so far.
I have been saying for months Khaman is the pick. When we were sitting with the third best odds earlier in the season I knew the winning streak was coming. I was dreading it hard. That schedule after all star break was wild. Darko did everything he could to get some extra Loses but the team fought to hard. The raptors always target guys who have great character, and a chip on their shoulder like you said. Now why is that, well it’s because those kinda guys will give you all they got. You know you’re going to milk every last bit of talent / upside out of them. I see a lot of this in Ja’Kobe walter and ulrich chomche / shead. We struck gold in a garbage draft with chomche. How the league didn’t see this kid coming I have no idea. I watched him and maluach play in Africa and I was so excited for a duo of African bigs. The athleticism/ speed / size between the two of them is wild. Chomche pf and Maluach centre. But now it doesn’t seem like he will drop to us. I think Masai and Bobby tried to move up and the price is to large. We would need the 76ers pick or probably Charlotte to lock in Khaman. When you see 7’2” and 9’6” standing reach in person it’s easy to fall in love.
