we got ourselves a game seven in the NBA finals tonight and a NBA draft in just three days So on today’s episode we got to talk about some of the invites that the Chicago Bulls have held up until this point Could one of the workout invites be the answer on draft night for the Chicago Bulls We going to give y’all the list go through the list and let y’all know how we feeling about it But before we of workout invites that have been you know reportedly did some workouts for the Chicago Bulls a nice size list and we going to see if we going to be able to talk about it and break them all down and say how we going to feel about them and could one of these guys potentially be the answer for the Chicago Bulls for my people that’s listening and tuning in that list we’re gonna go through it but it consists of Carter Bryant Igor Demi Asa Newell Danny Wolf Drake Powell Mark Sears Mohamad Diaware Dylan Cardwell John Blackwell Jawan Garry Caleb Grill Coleman Hawkins CJ Huntley Miles Kell now obviously we can’t go through the whole list otherwise we’ll be here forever but if you heard a name that you like drop the name that you think can be the So write in the comment box But C Dub we going to kick this thing off talking about my man’s Carter Bryant out of Arizona My man’s Carter Bryant Cub if the Chicago Bulls would go out there and draft a guy like Carter Bryant how would you necessarily feel about that Um I would be a little neutral It’s kind of par for the course for this organization He does fit the criteria uh big long wingspan uh defensive-minded player uh wing player get up and down the floor I wouldn’t be surprised but it’s something that somebody that I would not want on this on drafted with that first pick in the draft I think it’ll be a solid pick I think I’m going to lean on the same side as you being like in the middle This is a guy that didn’t really start a lot of games uh for Arizona but some impact You know what I’m saying And you looking at it 37% shooting from the three 46% from the field and he comes in with the the the consistent measurables that the Chicago Bulls tend to like Those guys with some length 67 66 68 type of range So I think I’ll be kind of neutral It’s not one of those picks I absolutely be disappointed in but I will very well be interested to see how the hell it’s going to work out especially picking him at 12 That’s just my preference I think he comes in with a lot of good things that you can work with Definitely like I always say with all these young players that’s coming in you want to fine-tune some things but I think that the young kid knows how to play well and got a lot of reviews coming from his coaches back in Arizona that spoke highly of him And shout out to Arizona cuz I’m a graduate alone [Laughter] For sure So y’all let us know how y’all feeling about that one cuz that one is definitely interesting I know there’s a lot of people high on Carter Bryant too Now um see Dub we get to the man out of Yale Eigor Deming Josh Giddy 2.0 At least that’s what I call him Um but how would you feel if the Chicago Bulls drafted a guy like Eigor Deming at 12 Yeah Uh I’d be I’d be weirded out I ain’t going to lie I’d be weirded out because what you just said at the end there he’s an exact exact replica of Josh Giddy Um he has tr trouble shooting Got trouble defensively Uh but he’s a hell of a playmaker Same size They had like 69 um 69 for both of them respectively Uh the only difference is Josh Giddy got a little bit more experience in the NBA Um this will be weird for me with two players on the on the court with the same type of ability Uh I don’t know how I feel about that It it’ll just be very weird if they was to grab Igor Denim and it’ll mean a lot of domino effects with the roster that we have now Yeah I think that would signal that they trying to move in another direction Well not another direction but I think they’ll be making some additional changes before the season gets here I don’t I’m not going to list the number of players but I think that they’ll be trying to make a decision with that Honestly I’ll be all right I’ll be I’ll be interested to see how the hell it’s going to work out But you can’t be math with having two ball handlers on the basketball court at the same size with these with these uh you know same type of games when it comes down to it But if you looking at it my man started 33 games 27 and a half minutes at Yale last year 10 points got about a steal a game five assists four rebounds So he kind of st filling up the stat sheet at least a little bit You know what I’m saying but definitely touted as one the best playmaker in this draft But I still will be interested in how all of this is going to work Cub I want to throw this question at you before we move on Do you think that cuz we we watched a lot of games you called a lot of games last year and when Lonzo Ball and Josh Giddy was on the floor we was like damn Like keep it a buck You know what I’m saying I don’t really got all the stats to say how successful that lineup was but do you think the Chicago Bulls look at that relationship between Lonzo Ball and Josh Getty and now look at Eigor and be like hm maybe this is something that can work out How you feeling about that though But uh no I do not Uh because at least when you got Lonzo and uh Josh Giddy they complement each other in this area Lonzo is a great spot up shooter Uh Igor Denim is is not a good shooter just like Josh Giddy is Josh Giddy improved at the end of the year last year but I would not necessarily call him a good shooter yet Uh so no I I don’t see any kind of semblance whatsoever Okay I think that’s fair enough I just think that they probably seen that and think that if this kid if they can work on him and work him out because would you agree that Igor is a little bit more fluid in his movement than Josh Giddy A little more fluid Not saying better but fluid the way he moves No I would No I ain’t giving them that I would say he’s a lot more fluid in his basketball movements than a Josh He He look He look tall and lanky His bones is moving all over No he he look more fluid to me But this ain’t a debate episode We can get visit that another time because I’ll be on your ass But now on the list we going to my man’s out of Georgia Asa Newell Hey center I ain’t going to lie I’mma just say it right now I will be feeling really really good about this pick because my whole point this entire off season before the season ended We got to get better big play bro We have to get better at the bigs But Cuba New how would you feel I would feel pretty good Uh he would suffice I know there are more um size suitable uh centers out there He’s a little undersized out there Um but it does make up for that with aggressiveness and um just hard work and energy Uh that’s what he brings to the court Um I wouldn’t have a problem with it I still have my eyebrows raised because he’s not a true center in the word That’s what I’m looking for in this in this in this draft And and that’s mostly based on size Like let’s get let’s be for real with the center position I understand that uh new he can come in there and he makes up the difference He plays bigger than what he is but I would much rather have a guy not have to play bigger than what he is and have a guy in his natural position Just just me I think he’ll be fine bro 610 611 I don’t think you can go wrong with that I think the motor speaks for itself He definitely going to be that lob threat that I really hope that we can get for Josh Giddy And I just think that the defensive side is gonna be he gonna be able to hold his own regardless because and and be able to play with the pace that we want to play at I do think that we need to see a little bit more offensively Nobody’s asking him to go out there and shoot a bunch of threes but can you spread and space out from having to play from the painted area or under the rim so much which will be you know what I’m saying key in his development to see how good he’s going to be in the future So I think that’ll be a really good pick for the Chicago Bulls especially knowing all what we know about our Chicago Bulls Now we get to the man from Michigan I believe What school he played at bro Danny Wolf Yale right He played at Yale Oh he played Eagle first Y now he coming out of M Shout out Big Blue Y’all already know what it is Stay locked in and stay loaded Hey we repping a lot of different things today which y’all know what it is but it’s always Bulls first But nonetheless hey how would you feel if the Chicago Bulls was like “Hey at 12 come on Danny Wolf Slide.” Um it made me smile when they when you said cuz Danny Wolf is a different type of guy like like when you talk about basketball game this guy is literally a seven foot point guard That’s that’s what he is Uh he handles the ball terrifically He passes terrific Uh he shoots pretty good Finishes around the basket I mean he’s seven feet Um uh just defensively he’ll be better than Vu We’ll still have some of those lapses some of those headaches with him that Vu but not as bad as Vu Um I just hope that he could get better I would take a chance on Danny Wolf and just hope that he could and just just hope that he could get better defensively That’s the only thing I’m praying for that he can get better defensively Otherwise he’s a [ __ ] circus dude He’s a He’s a He’s a joy to watch on the basketball court So in other words you will be happy I’ll be happy but I’m cautious bro cuz his defense There you go Yes bro I’m cautiously happy bro I wouldn’t be mad at it This is a guy that’s he up there I think he got a lot of talent I think when because when I broke him down on the episode it was like how do you slide how well can you slide them big ass feet Get all upset because you already know that this league is just about every night you going up against a one of the top guards bro Well not a top guard but a really really good guard at the very least You know what I’m saying Especially within the Eastern Conference you going to see a lot of the good guards and stuff like that Then when you head out west on that damn west coast trip we have every year that be having us sluggish as hell going to work because the game start at 10 But I think man you he got a lot of abilities that can help a offense whether that’s with the Chicago Bulls or somewhere else He has a lot of things that can help a team offensively That’s just to your point I seen him be able to slide his feet in here in some possessions I seen him be able to recover and swat that stuff out of here But hey can you do it consistently at an NBA level It’s going to be a big thing So me I will be happy I think that’ll that’s a move you should be happy about But uh now we move on to Drake Powell out of North Carolina My man’s my man’s my mans Cub Drake Powell This is a guy that kind of came out of nowhere I didn’t expect him to be on the Chicago Bulls list but he is a guy that is rising up uh rising up the charts And I remember one thing you said this would be the Kobe White reinforcement in your eyes But if the Chicago Bulls was to select him at 12 how you feeling dog 66 guard forward Now this guy right here um he’s one of the few players that I’m okay with with that 12 pick that is not a center Uh he is a Alex Caruso Lonzo Ball defensive genius and that in that light He’s that good defensively extremely long arms and he used them as a weapon He can spot up shoot Uh he is a knockdown spot-up shooter So that means he’s a quintessential 3 and D player and those are held greatly Uh those are held high today in the NBA And this is like the only like the one two maybe three or four players that I wouldn’t be mad at that’s not a center to get drafted with that 12th pick This guy is that one Yeah I think I’ll be I’ll be on the side of happy too It I just don’t want the Bulls to come out of left field with any selection Just don’t come out of left field with any selection I think most I think if they were to go out and draft them if I’m saying good neutral or disappointed I think I might be on the neutral side I ain’t going to lie I think I might be on the neutral side because because I think I’m more on a again I don’t necessarily believe that you have to draft a center at least with this pick but I would love if you draft a center with this pick or you go with the best available in your eyes Now I still obviously we still gonna have a lot of things to discuss and go through for this off seasonason but so I would be interested to see what is the plan after you take a guy like Drake Pal What does this mean for guys like Kobe White What does it mean for Iodumu What does it mean for the rest of the roster construction That’s all I’m gonna be asking I think he’s a hell of a player He comes in with a lot of talent He has the good measurables You already alluded to some of them But again my whole position this entire time is we need to fix this center position because I’m going ask you this real quick before we get into the you know the rest of them Confidence level one through 10 Chicago Bulls going to the center going to the season with Zack Collins and Jaylen Smith What’s your confidence level in that front court One through 10 Six I’m right there I was going to say about a six 6.5 Six 6.5 That’s a six bro D they ain’t vouch We going to be better but it’s still like it’s like it’s just dry You know what I’m saying It’s just dry It’s probably nothing bad Super bad It’s just dry for sure So then we get into a guard at 61 Mark Sears Why And uh Alabama I would be disappointed I’m going just let you know right now And that’s not to say the kid don’t got game because I think he got game and I believe he’s I seen Mox to where he’s up there within the top 10 I just I’m tired of looking at more guards Can we find a like I can handle the forward talk or a guy that can play forward or But can we just not take a guard bro Please Please Look here bro But I get it Eigor is guard and I did say I’d be good about that But Igor is a a big ass guard and we see guys like Darius Garland get cooked in the playoffs time after time after time because he just don’t have the size Yeah Um I’m just going to treat this with the respect that it deserves Um we already have Josh Giddy Lonzo Ball um Trey Jones is still on the roster for now You got Catfish Uh DJ Stewart DJ Stew G Catfish might be gone too but DJ Stewart in the G- League We got We got point guards We don’t need to look for no [ __ ] point guard I don’t even know why they invited him there They just wanted him to see the facility because there’s no way that we going [ __ ] there’s no way that we going to [ __ ] draft him bro They don’t even you we don’t even use spears anymore Do you know this is the modern age We got guns Damn All right My man’s trying to get a publication from the NRA Ah but yeah I’ll be disappointed in that pick C Dub just let y’all know that they just wanted to take them and show them what a a Chicago Bulls facility looks like But obviously we can’t get through the rest of the names but I’mma name a couple of them and I’ll just let you know how I feel about them But the remaining list will be Mohamd Diar Dylan Cardwell John Blackwell Jawan Garry Caleb Grill Coleman Hawkins CJ Huntley and Miles Kelly I’mma just say this I don’t think any of these guys worth the 12 pick That’s just me Now we talking about second round we could probably consider one of these guys But I’m talking about these earlier guys that we talked about is more so for the 12th pick So if if any of these guys come at 12 I’m gonna be hot because I’m like why I’m gonna be hot Um yeah some of some of those guys at the top that we just could come in the second pick with the second pick But the guys that you just talked about that’s not ranked That was going They going to Russia They the Super Tigers These are Super Tigers right here The The Shankai Super Tigers That’s China by the way Shane Kai Super Tigers These guys ain’t getting into the NBA bro It ain’t We only got two rounds of
