good morning Raptor Freaks like Hots here saturday morning we’re doing Saturday share the love club as we always do in the offseason on Saturdays we’re sharing the love for an individual on this day and today I’ve chosen Aurora Ontario Canada’s own Andrew Nebard that’s right andrew Nebard is a young 25-year-old star in the NBA from Aurora who’s also does play for the Indiana Pacers who’s in the finals right now and also plays for team Canada players the Maple Leaf at the Olympics Paris Olympics last year and going forward this guy’s going to probably be one of the main players of our team Canada team for years to come and uh you know I just wanted to share the love for Andrew because he’s grown so fast in the NBA he represents our can country of Canada well and uh this final series he has been absolutely a key piece to get the Pacers to the seventh game of the finals they don’t get here without Andrew Nebard slowing down his good friend Shay Gilis Alexander and uh making it hard on him to just do whatever he wants to do on the court you know SGA is a very very powerful player and he has that like that where he can just do whatever he wants on the court but in some ways he has been stymied he has been less effective and he has not been absolutely controlling games and it’s because of Andrew andrew really has been a great foil for Shay Gilis Alexander to an extent in this series and I’ll say this right now without Andrew Nebart and his familiarity with SGA and his ability to cover SGA better than most people in this whole entire NBA the Pacers aren’t in game seven like this they are not no they’re not it was absolutely crucial that Rick Carile unleashed Andrew Nebart and gave him that assignment against one of his best friends Gilgis Alexander that is what has gotten there andrew of course started his college career with the Florida Gator and then he uh opted for the draft but then he opted back out of the draft and came back and then he went to Gonzaga and played for the Gonzaga Bulldogs and yeah Andrews uh only this is his third season in the NBA and he’s in the finals in his third season that sounds like Seakum doesn’t it yeah that’s the same thing with Seakum siak was in his third season he got to the finals same thing so yeah it’s very cool and interesting to see uh a young great Canadian like Andrew Nebart succeed so I want to hear the love for Andrew Nebart of Aurora Ontario and uh a native son of our province here in Ontario and um you know just tell me what you like about Andrew let’s praise him let’s share the love for Andrew Nebard and his success this year and just in general as a young Canadian rising star and the possibilities in the future and the amazing things that can come that’s right there’s some really good stuff on the horizon for team Canada senior men’s basketball including uh just team Canada basketball in general but yeah but the senior men’s team in particular that’s right mike is in first look at that logical Raptor fanatics coming and hanging out with us this morning mike I hope you’ve been keeping up with your WNBA fantasy team it seems like you’re doing pretty good you got a you got a some wins now but yeah I hope you’re keeping up with your team ted to it like a garden and check on it every day uh he’s saying you should check the Yogi Stewart interview so interesting yeah you know u Yogi Stewart is an interesting former Raptor we haven’t talked about him a whole lot on this channel but he’s somebody I remember very well because he played for the Raptors when I was working in the arena and uh he was around that headband era the headband up on top of the trophy that’s one of those classic purple headbands that Vince and uh Dell and JYD and uh Mopit all wore during the playoffs that one year but yeah Yogi Stewart Michael Stewart underrated kind of like forgotten Raptors legend in some ways he was a very much a powerful power forward that used a lot of strength maybe well more well known for Sacramento days than Toronto days but there were Toronto days in his life for sure for sure a classic real one yeah I see he’s a classic real one maybe I should have done some classic Jurassic trivia on him at some point maybe he’ll get his own trivia day one day or we do Michael Yogi Stewart uh classic Jurassic trivia on a Tuesday sometime maybe i mean y’all keep you bring this up this will happen this might happen next Tuesday actually maybe people study on it no I might not do it right away but you know what sounds like we got to do Yogi Stewart Classic Jurassic uh Trevor’s here good to see Trevor a satisfied life is better than a successful life because our success is measured by others but our satisfaction is measured by our own soul mind and heart i love this word of wisdom right here i’m gonna give Trevor a dunk right here man because this is awesome this is a really important distinction you know what is success and what is satisfaction they’re two totally different things and in some ways you know you you can have both maybe you can get both sure it may be difficult though in some ways you don’t want to put so much power in other people’s eyes on your life and saying “Oh they deem whether I’m a success or not.” Whatever you know in some ways it’s about what he’s saying here is about are you satisfied with your life are you happy with your life because that ultimately is the only thing that matters and honestly your parameters for what you feel satisfied about are what you set for yourself and they don’t have to be distinguished or altered or uh criticized by anybody around you you just you you it’s you if this is what you need and this is what you like and you’re happy nobody else has to question it or understand it and that’s what it is right there thank you Trevor J for uh really really really wise uh words of wisdom that are you know something that everybody should kind of think about in their life right now about what this is exactly what he’s saying uh James is saying “Good morning James good to see Raptor Freak James can we scout Ryan Nebard his brother this is a fantastic idea James i’m gonna give you a dunk for this.” Of course we should go look at Ryan Nebard right now on Andrew Nebart’s share the love club day of course and this is very uh valid because Ryan Nebhart has come to OVO center in the last two weeks and worked out for the Raptors so there is a very high chance that he could get drafted by the Raptors i see that you’re saying in one of the comments could he be a target for the 39th pick well let’s go look at him i really haven’t looked at Ryan that much i know that he is 22 and that he is uh the younger brother of Andrew and uh he’s coming out of school out of uh Gonzaga i believe that’s he also went to Gonzaga and uh he is six foot now andrew Nebart is 6’5 but Ryan Nebart is six foot and he is a true point guard uh 180 is his weight and well this is the other thing that’s interesting about Ryan Nebart ryan Nebhart played at Mount Verd and he actually was on teams with Precious Cade Cunningham Dron Sharp Moses Moody Caleb Houston Jaylen Duran Langston Love and yeah number four Scotty Barnes so in some ways uh Ryan is friends with Scotty already from high school and uh yeah this is a he was playing with Scott in high school so this could be very interesting if uh he ends up coming to the Raptors as a a prior uh uh relationship with Scott so let me go look at it on YouTube we’ll get a Ryan Nebard uh highlight up real quick for James james is always uh asking for great requests to scout and I appreciate you James appreciate you James for bringing this up today let’s go look at Ryan Nebard and I’ll give you guys my first my feel for him all right this is the scout scouting highlights so this is actually for him it off the the music let’s see what’s up all right so there’s an outside shot little hop bunny shot on the outside shot let’s see this is him driving he goes right at the defender pushes him into the lane and makes a nice strong layup with his uh Yeah he’s got He gets up there he’s got some hops he is a little short i can tell that he’s going to be a little undersized at the NBA level but let’s see there’s a nice three-point stroke his stroke is is a little similar to his brothers a little bit similar uh but yeah he’s a very um driving kind of player like he’s very he’ll get in that lane it’ll come right at him he’s a nice set shooter he has interesting uh way he sets his feet he has them kind of like in front of each other like it’s like kind of he steps forward with one foot his right foot and he shoots with his left foot behind him which is interesting now he There you go he’s going into empty space and there’s a nice steel he got his hand in there and he stolen it went back the other way that’s something very reminiscent of his older brother Andrew yeah i don’t know man it looks like to me that Ryan Ebard may have some proclivities like his brother but I’m really worried about his frame and how tall he is and uh he may be a borderline NBA player and uh it could very well be he’s a GLeague uh and part-time NBA is what I’m seeing now picking him at 39 is that a stretch i don’t know i don’t know in some ways like we want to pick somebody that’s going to grow like shed and I mean if Bobby Msai see Ryan Nebart becoming more and more of a a true NBA player that can be developed into uh I would say they may make a take a flyer on him obviously Bobby said on the W Hello and welcome podcast recently that they do value having Canadian content on our team and and Ryan Nebart would fit that bill as far as checking that box for having another Canadian person on our team but I don’t know there’s a nice little dribble into the defender and bounce him off and stop on a dime and make make a three i like that a lot of the highlights I’m seeing on his highlight reel are three-point shots so he’s uh he’s shooting a lot of threes that’s for sure there’s a nice little fake around the screen and uh taking it with the defender just coming too late yeah he’s got an interesting like jab step where he uh uh gets the defender back and then he steps back and takes the shot with some room so yeah he’s an interesting player i worry about his size i really do worry that six foot is just not tall enough to play in this league unless you’re really really special in some ways um but uh the the fact that he is a Nebard and that he may play a bit like his brother i mean some of it is intangibles with Andrew as far as grit determination and compete and uh those kind of things are already in the young Andrew Nebard so I wonder how much of that would be in the young Ryan Nebard so yeah I don’t know i I in some ways I would say he’s I’m not high on him mainly because I know that the size may be an issue in the NBA is that that’s it but uh you know I could also see this I don’t know if Ryan Nebart will get drafted guys you know I don’t know what if he’ll actually get drafted so it could very well be that Ryan Nebart could be a a flyer on undrafted kind of like Jameson Battle or Fred Vanble Bleet so I could see that you know let me see if he’s on the the ranking they got the top 100 prospects for the draft on ESPN this morning this was just posted by Jonathan Goveni at uh 8:00 this morning just came out this morning they came out with a ranking yesterday which was weird and we looked at it but yeah they came out with this one let me just see if Ryan’s on here and what what number he’s at there’s some interesting stuff that shifted around on here that’s for sure um let me see brian Nebard is he on this list there he is at 59 they’ve got him as the 59th best prospect according to Gavini 59 so yeah it’d be something like either he’s picked at 39 because it really feels solid on him or he’s left after the draft and the Raptors come around and dra uh grab him as an undrafted i think that that’s maybe more likely uh but his workout went really well here in Toronto we’ll have to see uh what Bobby and Messiah thought and if they do pick him up but thank you James for the scout of the day he has some great outside shooting he has some steparounds for getting around people to make shots uh I wonder how much of a true point guard he is i didn’t see a lot of assist highlights on there and then I also wonder about his size once again his size uh Trevor saying that Atlanta beat Washington Dallas beat Connecticut and Seattle beat Las Vegas in WNBA action last night yeah I’m getting my butt kicked by Trucker Cass in our fantasy league and uh yeah he’s got over 100 point lead on me with only two days left in this week and I’m really sweating it i think my undefeated streak is going to be over soon and I might be catching my first L of the year to Trucker Cass this is really interesting james is losing to Fiery uh MK is beating Edmund logical Raptors fanatic is winning against Kareem and Coolcat has a slight lead very slight lead over JP at this point reese’s Nieces is coming back right now yeah yeah uh let’s see mike is here it’s fun to see Mike in this chat this morning he’s saying Yogi Stewart said the place every player likes is Toronto because it’s clean like New York it’s It’s a clean New York without the rats and the trash and the smell cuz New York and Manhattan are built on garbage true story okay all right a little diss on New York City just for a sec Mike all right you want to say that you know I’ve seen rats in downtown Toronto too i’ve seen garbage there too but maybe it’s not on the same prevalence and level as maybe New York City so yeah that I listened to that interview i did actually listen to it before I came on this morning and I put it on hyper time and yeah Yogi had a lot of nice things to say about Toronto talking about Doug Christie talking about Vince Carter talking about LeBron and things like that yogi Stewart is an interview with the Drive guys or something like that out of Sacramento yeah he’s he’s an interesting guy yogi’s very well spoken and uh yeah I remember that era when Yogi was on our team because I was there in the arena i I was working for the Raptors at that time and um I remember seeing Yogi down there on the court all the time working out and playing beh practicing before the game that’s right uh FY is here good morning fam and happy Saturday good morning to you MJ i hope you’re having a great weekend i hope FY Jr is having a nice summer as of yesterday summer solstice last night the longest day of the year yesterday and today Indigenous People’s Day that’s right and I want to celebrate that with the Raptors the Toronto Tempo the Raptors 905 everybody else is celebrating and making uh marking indigenous uh indigenous people’s day right that’s what it is yeah that’s fantastic this is important day there’s going to be a lot of like celebrations and events going on i feel like people need to embrace indigenous roots indigenous science indigenous ways and respect indigenous ways more and more this is actually one of the best ways we can fight the evil powers in the world today is to go back to the way it’s supposed to be the natural way the way the people that lived here way before uh the settlers or explorers or colonizers came and uh you know this is the thing you know it’s never too late in some ways we can try and figure out how to live in more harmony with nature the land the animals the plants and the trees and our our friends indigenous people they know the way they know the knowledge and we need to stop being so proud and arrogant and full of capitalism and worrying about money so much and get back to the roots of what man’s creation and relationship is with nature and that is one of the biggest things about indigenous uh rights and subjects is in some ways they are protecting the 91% untouched forest here in Canada that you know we are should be very proud of honestly in today’s world of degradation the fact that Canada has done such a good job protecting its environment is a real accomplishment and we need to continue to do this and indigenous people are at the forefront at the front lines protecting our lands and more and more I’m ready to get out there with them and uh stand with them and I think that more of us should seriously in some ways this have been a marginalized community for way too long but they need to have more preeminence in my opinion more preeminence in politics and leadership and more preeminence and teaching their ways and uh people learning them and using them and in some ways I want to learn more about indigenous science at this point because I’m growing a lot more and it’d be smart to understand man’s relationship with plants and nature to be able to you know uh have a good symbiosis and life living in partnership and uh you know harmony with those things i’m just telling you man that’s happy indigenous people’s day everybody and I hope you maybe you’re going to an event today to celebrate it somewhere there’s a lot of stuff going on today and it’s a beautiful day outside so retracted his messages maybe possibly because they’re political i don’t know mike is saying big facts the team Canada and Ontario Ball has Nebhar the best point to guard Shay yeah yeah i mean they know each other they’re friends i mean I’ve seen the clip from Team Canada practice where Shay Gildas Alexander sitting with Andrew he’s got his arm around him he said the best player in the league is Andrew Near he’s like joking around because everybody’s trying to say Shay Gildas Alexander is the best player in the NBA and he is because he’s the MVP but he was you know goofy and he’s like you know no Andrew Andrew is the best player in the NBA you know and this is these are good friends and you know there’s some truth to SGA saying that because he may be one of the few guys like I said that can slow down Shay seriously he may be one of the few guys in this league and it like I said it’s a special formula it’s because he knows him so in some ways the aura and the scariness of SGA is not there andrew Nebart is not afraid of Sheay Gilis Alexander because he knows them personally and he knows he’s goofy and that he’s powled around with them so there’s no mystique of like yeah this guy is scary like Michael Jordan no it’s nothing like that and then you know once again they’re physically very similar men and uh there some of their traits and strengths and weaknesses are similar so it’s like Andrew can keep up with him and he’s got the same kind of length with his arms and his body that he really can be his shadow and that it’s it’s one of the worst possible finals matchups for SGA uh as far as all the Eastern Conference teams that he could have faced in the finals the Indiana Pacers with Andrew Nebar to guard him is not ideal for Gilg Alexander i’m just saying is not an ideal matchup for him in some ways right there man i might say maybe don’t Dort can uh be be do better based on OKC’s practice the the thing with Dort is he’s been very effective also in the reverse on Hallebertton there’s a big reason why Hallebertton’s been hurt dorture chamber hello the physicalness of Lugett’s Dort of Montreal riding you and pounding you and shadowing you and just being there and just doing what he does we know what Lou does he’s dirty in some ways he’s very very dirty but hey I don’t mind it he plays for Canada and in some ways like yeah he’s worn down Tyrese like you know that’s been the assignment for Lugett is Tyrese Hallebert yeah put him in the chamber is what they said mark Dagnel said “Yeah put him in the chamber Lugett.” Yeah go get some Lugett and yeah he’s done that pretty effectively to some extent it’s really Hallebertton when he gets loose he maybe can make a little pass in the lane where he’s a little bit got more space or he’s somehow getting a a bit of room outside and he’s taking a extended three NBA three-point shot which is almost close to half court or logo and that’s the only way he’s getting any breathing room because uh Lugett is out there getting in his face you know what I’m saying but yeah he’s been a factor for Hallebertton for sure he has yeah fy saying great words of wisdom from Trevor J i know don’t live your life for for your interview last Saturday around this time it was about two o’clock last week at Holt Renfruit they had that interview with Bobby Webster and Bobby Webster illuminated more about the Toronto front office and answered a lot of questions in fact he said you know he he said a couple things in that interview that come out more true in the last day or so about Yaka Purle he said in that interview with Alex and uh uh William that uh Yaka Purle is becoming one of the top 10 centers in the league now if a GM says that glowingly in a you know not solicited about his center you think he’s trying to trade him no and that’s why it’s funny it’s like they have publicly come out and said “Yeah YaKob’s not going to be involved in any Kevin Durant trade y’all.” No yakob isn’t even in in in a deal or anything like the fans may some of them may want to trade YaKob maybe some of the usurpers the sheeps and the wolves and sheep clothing that come to Raptors Nation and act like they’re Raptors fans but they don’t like YaKob being on this team they’ve done this action to Pascal they’ve done this action to OG they’ve done this action to Fred why wouldn’t they do it to to uh Yaka Pearl they do it to R.J anybody on our team they don’t like being on our team they start trying to make little trade rumors and stupid [ __ ] they realized these guys are guys that help us win and that’s the whole secret of it all the Fred Ban Vleet noise was partly because Fred Ban Vleet helps us win all the RJ Barrett noise right now is partly because R.J helps us win yaka Purle obviously helps us win so our haters are going to come into our fan nation and start telling soft-minded Raptors nation to hate Yaka Purle because he doesn’t shoot threes and want to get him traded meanwhile our GM saying he’s the top 10 center in the league and he’s off the table and our fans don’t get the memo because they listen to idiots that don’t want good things for our team i would say listen to Bobby Webster listen to Msajiri listen to me and start wanting good things for our team instead of listening to jackasses from the United States Bleacher Report ESPN telling you how to think Raptors Nation why do you listen to the US media they know nothing about us and they don’t want anything good for us so yeah stop this it’s stupid in fact Graange is speculating that an extension for Yaka Purle may be coming very soon uh from the Raptors uh very very soon locking him down past his player option for next year so there you go there you go you guys can want what you want but you know what the guys who are in charge they’re smart and they know how to build this team right and Yaka Purle is an essential uh ingredient as a very important position called center that is important in the NBA and that’s why you should respect that that’s right there you go boom a dynamite nameless is here we got our Pisano in the house we got the This is the weekend crew y’all we got Nameless in and we got Mike in which is you know it’s fun it’s nice to have uh different people on different days here and there and it’s so good to see you Nameless i hope that you’ve been uh staying clean living and good living and good living life and living life right in summertime and Canada that’s right my paisano dab to you dab to you ola that’s right that’s right let’s see mike is saying uh investig interesting Bobby uh about the trade kawaii trade what Mike write English here man what are you writing here in in interress Bobby lured the kawaii trade okay messiah made the final call but Bobby worked that Kawaii deal it’s interesting what was interesting is that how long it took and then like it is kind of interesting what Bobby said when it was finally happening he’s like “Okay we’ve gone this far with talking about it with San Antonio.” He was really smart i like the fact that Bobby and this is the interesting thing is like the guy who traded Kawaii to us was a friend of Bobby’s from before like Bobby worked for Orlando Magic for a little bit he worked for the head office and he was around uh Brian Wright who was the GM of the uh Spurs who traded the with Maui for that and that that deal happened partly because they were young GMs that were friends and uh in some ways like Bobby described it he said “Don’t look to older people around you to help you stay with your cohort and come up together.” And Bobby Webster and Brian Wright came up together and then one of the ways they did it is they made this big huge trade and I think that that relationship between Bobby Webster and Brian Wright was necessary for us to do the Kauaii trade because in some ways the Kawawaii uh was was solicited by many teams and they they all were kind of wanting to get in there and be the opportunist like we were but I that’s the crazy thing is that Bobby Webster had a prior connection to the GM Brian Wright and the other thing that was very interesting about that part in the interview is Bobby said that he waited for Brian to come to him and that is that is really like a Jack Donnie art of negotiation kind of rule you know 30 Rock is like wait for the other person to speak before you speak and you’ll have more leverage and that’s what Bobby did in some ways he knew that they were trying to get rid of Kawhai and they were in a bad place with him and he kind of felt out Brian Wright about you know Toronto being possibly the team but it wasn’t until Brian Wright came to him and said do you guys want to do something with me for Kawaii then Bobby knew he could do something because he knew at that point as he said Brian Wright wanted somebody from the Raptors in return and then he had some power in landing Kawaii and boom 2019 championship so in some ways it’s true you can you can point to yeah Messiah is the leader messiah brought Bobby here but part of the architecture of our championship is directly you know Bobby Webster’s connection to Brian Wright and that’s not necessarily Messiah’s connection to Brian Wright that’s Bobby Webster as a young GM and another young GM being friends from before so it’s very very interesting story how they got Kawhai and they said he said it was like a two-month process they had started talking about the Quai trade in May and that trade happened in like July or something like that so it was two months that they were actually negotiating and figuring it all out and then he said all of a sudden it was done he was like “Well Kawhai can come here now.” And he was like kind of surreal and weird because they had gotten to the point where the deal actually came through you guys got to understand I say this all the time the GMs in this league live on the moon we don’t we don’t understand all the parameters and difficult things that have to go into making a deal work in the NBA everybody thinks you can just snap your fingers and it happens no these things take a while and they also take a lot of sussing out and back and forth and I think it was also interesting that Bobby said that they really had to make sure that the medicals went right yeah yeah they had to make sure and that was something the smart from the Raptors end because Kawhai you know he had been sitting out saying he was hurt but it’s funny because Bobby said that like he re revealed this is so crazy he kind of revealed a lot in this interview he said the San Antonio people called me and told me he wasn’t really hurt he was just sitting out because he was mad at this team and then we weren’t as worried about trading for Leonard because that’s true you make a big deal like that you trade a franchise god and a native a guy who’s just so loyal to your team like Demard Rosen you don’t want to do this frivolously trade him and then you get a dud of a player who’s a lemon who’s hurt and he can’t even play so in some ways you know he had to get that insider knowledge from the Spurs training staff and medical that no Kawhai’s actually not hurt he’s just being a dick to the Spurs he’s not playing because he’s he’s he’s mad at the Spurs you know and he actually admitted that in that interview which is crazy bob Webster said that and I also love all this talk about how he did have to talk through Uncle Dennis to talk to Kawawaii all that stuff was true all that stuff was true right there that’s right that’s right let’s keep going roger Raymond’s here good focus on one of the biggest Canadian corporations that operates out of Aurora Ontario and that is a company called Magna International magna International makes auto auto parts and they are a manufacturer for automakers and they are a huge huge company and they are based out of Aurora and they’re a Canadian company 68 years and they make a lot of parts for all kinds of cars general Motors Ford BMW Mercedes Volkswagen Toyota yeah and this is a big deal you know it’s nice to have Canadianmade products in places going internationally because it brings more revenue and economy into economy of Canada and that’s fantastic their income uh let’s see how much did they make last year they made $1.2 billion in 2023 crazy and they employ 179,000 people as of 2023 now I don’t know how you support Magna International as far as the parts company maybe you just buy parts i don’t know but either way they’re doing good it’s no about the straight goods on Canadian goods a fantastic huge huge company called Magna Parts magna International is uh founded by Frank Stornack Stronac in 1957 out of his garage y’all so yeah you you can be something and you start in your garage and all of a sudden you got 179,000 employees yeah you did something right you did something right so we’re putting on Blast Magna International a car parts company it’s a little different it’s a little different i don’t know how you support them maybe you go to their plant and say “Hey I need car parts straight from the good straight from y’all can you give them to me on a really good deal?” Yeah straight from no i’m not totally sure that there’s other games coming up i’m going to try and get to CBL before this season’s over and the the the games at uh Panama Center for Scar Bro Shooting Stars there’s games right up until uh you know the beginning of August so I’m gonna have to come down there i’m going to go support CBL very soon i gotta get over there man seriously oh we got rats nameless like oh we got rats oh we got rats in Toronto oh we got rats i once saw this is a crazy story i used to live on Queen Street West yeah over in that area of Toronto Spadina in Queen yeah yeah yeah yeah and uh I remember walking down the street one day this is probably like in the early 2000s and um there was somebody walking a rat on a leash yeah the rat was huge it was like this big and it was like this fat and I thought it was a dog at first because it was so big and I was like “Wait a second that is a weird looking dog.” And I looked at it again i was like “Holy sh It looked like an 80s horror rat that would be like in a movie.” Like a huge rat that would jump out of your toilet and bite your ass or something like that it was scary and honestly I’ve seen weird things on Queen Street West before but that may have been one of the weirdest yeah seeing somebody actually walking a rat on a leash in downtown Toronto very very strange very very very very strange not on the same level of rats that they got in New York in Toronto at least we’ll say that not on the same level okay all right trevor saying LeBron was seen in Toronto shopping well he does like Toronto he does he comes to York Yorkville and he does his high-end shopping at the Holt Renfruit at uh Blair Blur and Young you know he’s around he’s around we know LeBron’s often caught sitting and eating with friends at a patio restaurant in that area around Toronto at Yorkville yeah he’s usually seen this time of year right around now that’s right uh Nameless was saying “I embrace indigenous spirituality mostly.” You know I I love the indigenous spirituality because seriously we have to realize we are one with this natural world and we’ve made ourselves so unnatural from that world and poison that world we have so much microlastics in us we have we have so much [ __ ] in our heads from computers and social media and just all kinds of [ __ ] that we just manufactured it’s not even real in the real world the indigenous spiritual world of you know carbon life life forms and things that we are you know are naturally here we made so much extra artificial [ __ ] that occupies our minds it’s crazy one of the things that I’ve learned recently is indigenous science i want to learn more about indigenous science because indigenous science is actually very holistic and some people say it’s kooky and it’s not like real medicine but you’re crazy if you don’t think that this is stuff that they practiced for centuries and centuries and understood how you can use certain plants and certain things to help yourself and you know it’s just because in some ways some of the indigenous science doesn’t go along with the profit making of the white man’s capitalism that you know in some ways if you teach everybody how to grow their own food teach everybody how to take care of themselves well some ways grocery stores and doctors would go out of business that’s the thing indigenous science can make you more self-sufficient and that’s why they don’t want to put it on blast or let you get near it so I I’m actually very curious about possibly taking uh classes in indigenous sciences because I feel like they would be very uh in in informative for me to be a little bit more self-sufficient out here on my home stand you know you know what I’m saying that’s what I’m talking about right there that’s right that’s right mike’s accomplished so far and the teams they’ve beaten they’ve beaten teams that have way better records than them all along they went through New York and Madison Square Garden they beat the Cavs seriously this is a big deal man and uh Oklahoma City is just like the Cavs except they were in the West and the Cavs from the East and so I would say the experience of Carlile the fact that Seakkum is the most powerful player in the game because he has the most experience at this level and the fact that this team plays their ass off and they are getting after the ball on the floor and playing really really aggressively i wouldn’t be shocked if somehow someway the Pacers win it and it could even be a buzzer beater and it’s very very close right at the end so yeah I’m picking the Pacers i am picking the step into people like aggressively and didn’t mean to but he’s not looking and at one point I look over at Courtney and he’s doing the Thundertaker eyes he’s like on the dance floor and he’s just like stepping around and I don’t know if he’s like on something you know because people are doing stuff or he’s just like in the zone like with his step dancing the way he used to dance there were times when Courtney lived with me he’d fall asleep on the couch he’s my roommate and he would fall asleep with his eyes open like you’re talking about Trevor he was so unsettling so unsettling and I didn’t reason why I want the Pacers to win is because this will be another one of these weird years where the Raptors were a losing team but somehow someway they had a winning record against the NBA champions that’s another reason why I want the Pacers to win because we did not beat the Thunder they beat us bad routed us two games in a row but we beat the Pacers three out of four games this year consistent with his his offense because he’s honestly this is the first year he’s averaged double digits he got 10 points a game this season for Indiana the other thing about Andrew Nebard is that he got promoted to the starting lineup he wasn’t starting uh he was the backup point guard for this first two years and this year he rose to becoming a starter next to Hallebertton and that that helped him but he’s still got a his offense has a lot of work still andrew Nebart’s going to get better on offense the thing is that he I think he’s better on Canada in some ways than on the Pacers like we’ve seen him have huge games internationally for team Canada in the Feeble World Cup and also a bit last year in Paris so it’s weird because I want to see him step up and get like a 25 to 30 point gain but he doesn’t really do that very often for the Pacers it’s mostly Hallebertton and Seakum doing that but over time I could see Nebart developing his offense more so his scoring average goes up and he’s more relied on for clutch shooting and carrying the team during the game offensively well in some ways right now he has the luxury of playing very much focused on his defensive stuff especially on SGA in this series and that is a luxury but at some point in his career Andrew Nebar is going to gonna be demanded on to score more and more for the Pacers and he’s shown it on the team Canada stuff like I said he’s been the leading scorer for team Canada in a couple of our games in comp competitions with RJ and SJ on the court with him and that that’s special that’s special right
