so could the Memphis Grizzlies be trading away Jiren Jackson Jr to the Milwaukee Bucks this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Memphis Grizzlies receiving Giannis and Toto Kmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Jiren Jackson Jr Zack Edy Jaylen Wells Brandon Clark the number 48 overall draft pick the number 56 overall draft pick a 2028 first round pick and a 2031 first round draft pick so I’ve never really thought about Giannis getting traded to the Grizzlies in my life especially too with Desmond Bane now gone to the Orlando Magic it doesn’t make that much sense in my opinion now you can make the argument that the Grizzlies now have the draft capital that Milwaukee might desire in a Giannis trade so perhaps if down the road if Giannis does demand a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks the Grizzlies would have what it takes in regards to roster players in the form of Jiren Jackson Jr high-end players like Zack Edy Brandon Clark etc that are still relatively young and a ton of draft capital so from an asset perspective this is a tremendous hull uh for the Bucks to get back uh from the Grizzlies perspective having a one-two punch of Giannis and Jaw it seems intriguing i’m a little I’m a little worried about Jaw Moran’s health moving forward so if that lets them down I think that uh you know Giannis is in a pretty similar situation to where he sort of is right now in Milwaukee so I don’t think this gets Giannis closer to a championship especially him going to a stacked Western Conference next year he might not even be a playoff team he probably will but truthfully speaking this won’t be a team in the Grizzlies that wins a championship in my opinion now for the Milwaukee Bucks this trade checks pretty much every box you get a superstar player now in Jiren Jackson sure it’s an expiring contract but this guy’s a tremendous player to get back zack Edy very important player as well for the future uh Jaylen Rolls Brandon Clark provide a little bit more depth two second round draft picks which isn’t crazy but two first round draft picks for Memphis you could even throw in some of these Orlando draft picks as well if you really wanted to make this trade happen so asset wise it’s a good deal uh but truthfully speaking if I had to pick a winner this might sound crazy i’m going to go with the Bucks because it makes a little bit more sense long-term for them uh compared to the Grizzlies based on the Desmond Bane trade but as always leave your thoughts
