OKC Thunder LOCKER ROOM CELEBRATION After 2025 NBA Finals WIN 🔥

you know you won your first championship You’re on a team right now that has the potential to be really dominant because of the you know the executive staff has done a great job in terms of draft picks putting together the team and everything else So he’s going to be in a great winning situation for the next five or six years Now can they continue winning Can they stay healthy Can can they resist what Pat Rally coined the disease of more Because every player is going to want more time more shots and more importantly more money in a small market So Smitty when I look at the best players on a championship caliber team no question SGA is that guy You played with Tim Duncan you played with LeBron James right You kind of understand that pecking order What does that do for the rest of the team when you get to the NBA finals like this Well it it brings everybody’s confidence and I think you look at it it the hard work that pays off they’ll go in and work even harder to get like he says greedy but also go back to Shay Gills as Alexander what I love and watch his maturation and then talking to his trainer about he still got a room to go because it’s the three ball now Once he starts hitting the three ball people don’t understand We’ve watched a guy win MVP and do all these accolades basically from the mid-range in the free throw line you get the three ball for him that get that that’ll make him quicker That’ll make him more dangerous Guys got to pick up even quick uh earlier and then the guys will be running at him And you know this Channy it will be unbelievable if he can start to make four to five threes in a ball game It’d be unguardable And and and to get back to that graphic about in this day and age this is a this is a bigger guards league Shaq is physically dominant Obviously I think that was Wilter Kareem Wilson physically dominant He’s 6’4 65 and he’s playing in a league where people average 100 something points So we’re saying you can score and your team wins and you’re the best player to add those three things up doesn’t usually happen especially when you play a team like the Pacers who have eight guys who get an opportunity to score So that’s one And then two I I think we’re not taking into account the maturity and the culture setting that SGA is He has set the culture here and made sure everyone He’s a hooper He’s a basketball head You look at Chad you look at Lou Dort you look at Jason Williams Jay Williams right You look at Jaylen sorry You look at all these guys and you’re like “Wait a second All y’all are start to bleed into each other They’re they’re unwavering in their confidence and in their work.” And that is something that is you’re they’re going to want money somewhere else but what they have here they need to stay here as long as possible you know And I I compare to after I won my first championship in Detroit right And you look at winning it from the point guard position in a league that has been dominated you know by the small forwards the centers and the bigs But to do it at the point guard position it takes a special person special personality and then to be able to score and be unselfish from that position Now can you come back and say okay to really put the icing on top the question is can you do it again And that’s that’s you know on that graphic that we showed all those guys you know at their positions they came back and did it one more time to really make it you know stand out Well let’s stay on that point because this is the seventh champion we’ve seen in the seventh consecutive season It’s never happened in NBA history So what is it going to take for us to be sitting here with a team to repeat finally Smith Well I think all of us know we’re not looking at this roster and saying “Oh wow Of age he’s getting older These are young guys Everybody from Chad Homegrren Hardenstein Lou Dort they all can add to their game But what they do have Isaiah Channy they defend And your best player defend There’s room for improvement on everybody’s game individually physically and then obviously experience They won this one So that gains like two or three more years of experience and confidence Chad Hongren has nowhere reached his peach Not even close He’s not even close So you think about him in the next two or three years It is scary how good this team can be And you’re led by your guy and you guys know this cuz you did it I’m the best player and I defend and I defend And I defend is not a lot of superstars The way that OKC buys into each other is their most dangerous attribute They buy into each other’s success which means they hold each other accountable When somebody isn’t rotating correctly they diagnos allow to put somebody else in Nobody mopes They jog off the court That’s something little right That’s a sign of respect right Not like I’m not getting mine This has shown that teams can win You can have individual success above your misses We could talk about Chad Homegrren Yeah He wasn’t very good from the three-point line What do you have Five blocks tonight Yeah Six block What was his impact Did you see the US was above the mean That’s what’s dangerous because most teams that guy would go “Oh man I’m not getting my points.” He was doing everything that was necessary on that possession Even if it was shoot it when he hadn’t made it he shot it because it was what was necessary And to Channing’s point right when you look at okay what did someone do in the biggest moment Yes SGA 2912 We almost expect that But Chad Homegrren coming in we were saying okay he’s had some up and down games in this series 18 points But here’s the thing five blocks and he had six total blocks in games one through five Zeke he really brought it in this game seven Had his best game of the NBA Finals Yes he did And but it it’s expected of him because he’s done it in high school He’s done it in college And now on the biggest stage he does it again You know he’s never been one to shrink from the moment whenever the moment called for him to be big And Chad was big tonight You know you talk about the block shots but also his scoring what he was able to do scoring wise and the confidence that he continued to have in himself And you know you you talked about team and this reminds me so much of our 889 Piston team defensively because I thought we were the best defensive team ever and I still think we were one of the best defense defensive teams ever but we lost Mahorn in 90 We lost Mahorn in 90 and we still came back and won back to back But defensively what the Detroit Pistons were all about at that time we were rooted on the defensive end sharing the basketball Eight nine people scored which made us a true team And as OKC talked about sacrificing believing and trusting in each other That’s what was on display here tonight a total team concept of winning What I love about Chad I said in the pregame he played big today only shot two threes but he got blocked shots and he rebounded And I that’s the one thing about his versatility He can play big he can play small We saw him He was trying to dribble around guys That’s not what you’re going to do against this Pacer team You’re playing a bigger guy that’s slow Yes But he came out and said “Let me block shots Let me rebound Let me take high percentage shots.” I just I just think this right now is scary for the rest of the league because how good this team can be And I also want to point out Zeke and Channing coach Dagno has got this monkey off his back He’s a young coach and like right now he can go and say “Hey I just went up against Rick Carile and you know what I came away a winner.” But first of all also I would love for us to all talk about the prayers and respect we have to give to Tyrese Hallebertton I think that’s that’s one thing I he’s a warrior the way he came out and competed and I hated to see that almost brought a tear to me in my eye when it when the injury

  1. Watching Haliburton leaning on his crutches as the defeated Pacers walked down the tunnel was brutal. On top of that you could hear “We are the Champions” in the background. After Haliburton went down, I just couldn’t enjoy watching this game 7. If I was an NBA player I may think about wearing a number other than 0 after this postseason. 3 achilles tears on 3 guards in the east all wearing the number 0. Orlando Magic ECF??

  2. I wanna say OKC deserves being champions but things could have been different if Hali did not get hurt. We'll never know

  3. Hopefully, they all sacrifice their salaries a for a couple of years and keep the team together for the next 5 years or so. That would be awesome

  4. Well deserved CHAMP NOW ESPN About to act like they wasn’t trashing the THINDERS need to study the game more get out the hype

  5. WTF is Isiah talking about 7:15 get these old men out of here. He keeps talking about Detroit. Let’s talk about the future !!!

STEVEN ADAMS (CENTER) FROM HOUSTON ROCKETS TO CHICAGO BULLS

NIKOLA VUCEVIC (CENTER) FROM CHICAGO BULLS TO MILWAUKEE BUCKS

DeAndre JORDAN (CENTER) FROM DENVER NUGGETS TO BROOKLYN NETS

IVICA ZUBAC (CENTER) From LA Clippers to New York Knicks if Giannis Antetokounmpo will NOT be acquired by the New York Knicks.

GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO (FORWARD/CENTER) FROM MILWAUKEE BUCKS TO NEW YORK KNICKS OR LOS ANGELES LAKERS OR MIAMI HEAT.

The trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Miami Heat is still possible but has restrictions due to Salary Cap. If the deal for Miami Heat will not push thru, Giannis Antetokounmpo might move to another team. Another issue: Since Kel’el Ware, a young 7’-0” rookie Center is already dominating in the Miami Heat big man position, a deal for acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Miami Heat might NOT push through.

Therefore, Giannis Antetokounmpo might be traded to New York Knicks instead as additional firepower for the Power Forward Position. In this case, Karl-Anthony Towns must play the Center Position.

Another option is Giannis Antetokounmpo might be traded to Los Angeles Lakers to play as the Power Forward Position. In this case, Power Forward Rui Hachimura might be traded somewhere else since he will be replaced by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

On the other hand, Victor Wembanyama must be acquired by the LA Lakers so he can play the center position and Lebron James will play as the number 3 position/Point Forward. If a deal will push thru for Giannis Antetokounmpo to be at LA Lakers, I suggest that Rui Hachimura will be traded to Miami Heat to play the Power Forward position to partner with Miami Heat Center Kel’el Ware.

If in case, there is a Salary Cap Issue in Los Angeles Lakers, they will be limited to options.

The LA Lakers will do the option of acquiring just 1 big man and that is either Victor Wembanyama or Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Case 1: If LA Lakers will acquire Victor Wembanyama, the LA Lakers might not push to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo due to Salary Cap Issue. Giannis Antetokounmpo might find some other NBA team to settle down. He might go to New York Knicks or any other team or he can still stay at Milwaukee Bucks.

Case 2: If LA Lakers will acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, The LA Lakers might not push to acquire Victor Wembanyama again due to Salary Cap issue. Victor Wembanyama might find another NBA team if he wants to be traded. He also has the option to go back in France or in Europe to play for any French Team or any Euroleague Team.

  7. not gone lie the alcohol splashing is overplayed and pretty nasty (stink after) they should get super-soakers, water balloons and have a water fight with spring water

  8. They won the Paul George trade way before this championship soon as they drafted j Dub and Chet they won I knew they was gone be good now it’s no question Shai became the best player in the league😅

  9. Why the star players werre just getting injured left and right? Idk if i fully believe this

  10. Basically anything Good Ole J.R. supports I'll stand behind. Oklahoma gave the world the greatest wrestling announcer of all time, and now the greatest NBA team of the 21st century.
