what was your welcome to NBA moment in 2008 I get drafted and team USA is practicing to prepare for the Beijing Olympics i’m watching them practice and the trainer of the Knicks is with me and said “Stay here a little bit more this practice cuz Kobe wants to meet you.” So I stayed there i waited you know he’s icing stretching you wait maybe an hour after practice and then I hear somebody say in Italian “Danilo come here.” We speak in Italian in Vegas i look and it’s Kobe that was amazing he gives me shoes i go back to my room and there is a letter that he wrote for me i’m thinking he’s going to say something nice before the game to me in Italian whatever he didn’t talk to anybody that game he came on the court stayed in his position didn’t move didn’t talk nothing and this guy goes for 61
