I would not do this. You only exhaust every valuable trade asset on a player that you feel is close to a "sure thing", not a prospect with potential. Plus he's from Duke, and for some reason those guys usually don't work out in the NBA.

Funny, i drafted him via trade on 2k. I was wondering if this was possible in real life. If so, im all for it. Hes likely a better option than any vet center we could get for the price. A bit of a risk, but he could be similar to Ware for Miami, who i wanted to draft last year.

Does Maluach have any lateral movement and ability to switch and guard close outs on shooters? He looks like a one dimensional post defender with limited mobility and no offensive game- but those 8 and 36 picks can get Lakers two good bigs! But is he one of them?
