so could the Sacramento Kings be trading away Demar De Rozan to the Los Angeles Clippers this 2025 NBA offseason Well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself But this trade would see the Los Angeles Clippers receiving Demard Rosen the Charlotte Hornets receiving Zack Lavine and Rashawn Holmes the Washington Wizards receiving Miles Bridges and the Sacramento Kings receiving Ysef Nerk Bogdan Bdonovich Joshi Sadiq Bay Drew Eubanks a 2027 second a 2030 first round draft pick a 2031 first round draft pick and a 2031 second round draft pick So this trades just a lot So let’s just break it down really quickly here I’ll start at the bottom From the Kings perspective getting rid of Zack Lavine as well as Demard Rosen would spark a big-time rebuild for this organization which truthfully speaking may not be a terrible idea I probably wouldn’t package these guys together in order to make this happen So I would probably trade off players like Demar De Rozan and Zack Lavine separately I would also probably trade uh Deanna Sabonis as well and go through a full-blown rebuild if this is the case but not a terrible idea You get some good assets that can help you win now like Bakdanovich could definitely be a pretty good player Uh Akoji Sadiq Bay etc You’re getting back some draft capital as well uh for some teams in Charlotte and the Los Angeles Clippers that may be in the lottery at that point in 2020 or in 2030 and 2031 So not a terrible package but you are selling a little bit short on these two guys in my opinion by packaging them together Uh from the Wizards perspective you’re getting back Miles Bridges I guess this team has to turn the page at some point Miles Bridges is a decent player and you’re not giving up that much truthfully speaking in the grand scheme of things here So you’re sort of getting back a pretty solid player by brokering this deal So not a bad move for the Wizards Uh the Charlotte Hornets this would be them acquiring players to build around Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball and kind of going for a playoff push next year And Zack Lavine could definitely be the missing piece for this franchise in my personal opinion So having a big three of Zack Lavine um Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball probably good enough for the playoffs at the very least the playin Does it make them a championship team Probably not But it makes this Hornets team a little bit more relevant And if you’re the Los Angeles Clippers as I’ve mentioned before with uh as I kind of mentioned before with the Wizards you’re not giving up that much for a player uh in Demard Rosen Now this is a very shortsighted a very short-term move uh if you’re giving up uh players like Bogdanovich and a first round draft picks in 2031 for an aging uh Demar D Rozan especially with this aging core uh of Kawhi Leonard and James Harden like on paper it’s a great move but if they don’t win a championship they sort of just kick the can down the road in regards to them not having a future and just kind of building for the short term year in and year out So I think the winner of this deal I’ll probably go with the Charlotte Hornets Second place I would go with the Clippers Third place I would go with the Wizards And fourth place I would go with the Kings Leave your thoughts down below
