so could the Miami Heats be trading away Andrew Wiggins to the Cleveland Cavaliers this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Miami Heat receiving DeAndre Hunter and a 2028 second round draft pick and the Cleveland Cavaliers receiving Andrew Wiggins now my thoughts on this trade is actually pretty intriguing because this trade doesn’t really move the needle that much in my opinion for either side uh from the Heats perspective they get a little bit younger they get a pretty athletic three and deep wing and a second round draft pick for a player and Andrew Wiggins that truthfully speaking probably isn’t a long-term fit so uh maybe for the longevity of this franchise you know maybe it’s a good move in the long run i guess only time will tell now if you’re the Cleveland Cavaliers this trade is definitely a pretty good one in the short term you’re not giving up that much all things considered i think that Andrew Wiggins with this championship experience he can bring that to this Cavaliers group uh which could be pretty valuable but also too uh this would be a full circle moment for him of course he was drafted uh first overall then traded for Kevin Love back in the day so this would be a cool place for Andrew Wiggins to go but also too from a basketball perspective this is a really good fit like you maintain Darius Garland uh you keep Donovan Mitchell of course you have Evan Mobley you have Jared Allen i think Wiggins as the number three man on this team offensively speaking would be a perfect fit that can truthfully get the Cavaliers over the hump maybe uh for the 2026 NBA playoffs so this trade’s intriguing if I did pick a winner this deal I would probably side with the Cavs just for the short term uh this team has to switch up their roster uh they have to make a trade or two this off seasonason and this would be a step in the right direction in my opinion for a relatively inexpensive trade package so those are just my thoughts leave yours down below
