You said that Portland got some draft capital out of the deal, but they were the ones who gave up draft capital. I think it was a great trade for Boston because I thought they were going to have to add a pick just to dump Jrue’s contract. It makes no sense to me for Portland. They had to give up picks (granted, only second rounders) to take on an awful contract? 🫤 I thought they would be able to get a first round pick from someone for Simons, but what do I know? 🤷♂️
