so could the Brooklyn Nets be trading away Cam Johnson to the Milwaukee Bucks this 2025 NBA offseason Well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from ESPN.com The link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Cam Johnson and the Brooklyn Nets receiving Kyle Kosma a 2031 first round pick and a 2032 first round pick swap So when it comes to adding players around Giannis this off season Camp Johnson realistically speaking would be a pretty good ad And if the asking price for him is Kyle Kosma which hasn’t performed well so far uh since being traded to Milwaukee a first round draft picks years six years from now and a first round pick swap seven years from now That could definitely age poorly especially if this doesn’t go well for Giannis He demands a trade etc So if he leaves Milwaukee this is a disaster But Cam Johnson for the short term is a great move to add to the team Like Cam Johnson’s a player that has been talked about uh with going to the Nets or sorry going from the Nets to the Bucks but those were when Giannis was available for trade and potentially going to the Bucks as well So if you’re able to hold on to Giannis and you’re able to acquire Cam Johnson and this could just be a better fit on this Milwaukee Bucks team this makes a lot of sense Now from the Nets perspective you’re sort of I guess bidding on Kyle Koosma uh perhaps thriving with a change of scenery You’re also getting back some draft capital as well which for this team in Brooklyn they might want to go after like a John Morant type of player down the road And in order to do that you also have some more assets and some more man some more tools to throw in there in regards to a larger John trade for example So you could always flip Kyle Kosma you could flip all three of these things plus their own draft capital They have other players as well like Nick Claxton etc And they can make a big-time splash by making this move So not terrible for either team If I had to pick a winner though I’m going to go with the Milwaukee Bucks because it makes this team a little bit better and probably pleases Giannis at the end of the day Uh but as always it’s a pretty close trade Leave your thoughts down below
