so could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Damen Lillard to the Phoenix Suns this 2025 NBA off season well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from espn.com the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Bradley Beal Royce O’Neal and a 2029 first round draft pick and the Phoenix Suns receiving Pat Coneton and Damen Lillard so since the Kevin Durant trade took place just yesterday at the time I’m recording this video there could definitely be some more moves in store for this Phoenix Suns organization could there be a world where they flip someone like Jaylen Green into some more draft picks and young players i wouldn’t put it past them uh truthfully speaking now this trade’s pretty intriguing because it sees two players that don’t really have a ton of value uh that being Damen Lillard because of his injury and Bradley Beal because of his contract as well as his play uh being swapped for one another now the price tag for Bradley Beal to get rid of this player is going to probably have to cost them some draft capital uh which they recently acquired of course and they also have that of their own uh plus Royce O’Neal you know a good 3 and D option for this Bucks team might not be a terrible idea so if you’re the Milwaukee Bucks I understand them wanting to build a championship caliber team around Giannis for the short term like every year you know from here on out he could ask for a trade or just leave the team at at the end of the day as well so if you want to do your best to make him happy Dame’s not playing next year and it hasn’t really worked out since that acquisition happened a couple years ago now so why not test your luck you get a good 3 and D player and Royce O’Neal you get a first round draft pick which they can maybe flip for another player uh on the trademark but also two there’s a slight chance that Bradley Beal does have a bit of a resurgence would I count on it probably not but could he be a good fit in Milwaukee with maybe a change of scenery potentially so not a bad trade package all things considered uh for the Milwaukee Bucks and if you’re the Phoenix Suns you’re what you’re really doing here is paying a price to get rid of Bradley Beal’s contract the alternative at this point would be to buy him out so if you’re able to get back an injured Damen Lillard who which you never know maybe he comes back from his injury and still has a couple good years left maybe him and Deon Booker in the back court is a good fit pat Coneton as well recently opted into his deal you know it is what it is but I think for the Phoenix Suns what you’re getting here is just off the books in regards to Bradley Beiel’s contract so if I had to pick a winner of this deal I’m gonna probably side with the Phoenix Suns just because they got rid of Bradley Beal’s deal but as always leave your thoughts
