Pelicans TRADE CJ McCollum to Wizards for Jordan Poole

Pelicans TRADE CJ McCollum to Wizards for Jordan Poole

it, who else will? This new season, now streaming only on Paramount+ with Showtime Plan, we have breaking news out of the NBA, where the Wizards have acquired CJ McCollum from the Pelicans. That is, per multiple reports, the trade will also send Kelly Olynyk and a future second round pick to DC. In return, New Orleans will receive Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the number 40 overall pick in this year’s draft. The trade will give Washington nearly $100 million in cap space in the 2026 season, allowing them to make a big splash in free agency. Let’s welcome in our coach here, Avery Johnson. All right, Avery, we’re going to start getting these trades fast and furious. What do you think about this one going down. This has Joe Dumars name written all over it Joe Dumars is the new sheriff in town as president of basketball operations for the New Orleans Pelicans. And he basically wants to resurrect his team and get this team to become a playoff team. And he’s starting by getting rid of some pieces that he probably believes underperformed. C.J. McCollum you know terrific scorer but very inconsistent. Not that great on the defensive end. So you can you can see Joe Dumars because he really loves guards that can defend their position. So this is this is Joe Dumars putting his imprint on this team trying to revamp this roster. We’ll see what happens as it relates to Zion Williamson if they’re going to retain him or if they’re going to move him on. But this is going to be the start of moves that Joe Dumars is going to make. To really try to position the Pelicans to be a playoff team. Okay. So this is step one. Obviously we have the draft tomorrow. A lot of people excuse me have talked about what they’re going to do because there’s a number of positions that they do need to fill. What should the second step be for this Pelicans team, if they do want to resurrect this team to get to the playoffs? Well, the Pelicans made a deal with the Indiana Pacers. And they have Indiana’s first round pick late in the first round. So that gives them two first round picks. But I think at the end of the day the Pelicans are going to really look for more shooting on the perimeter that if they’re going to retain Zion Williamson he needs space. He needs space to operate. They need quality depth. You can tell with Indiana and also the world champs OKC. Those teams are nine, ten, 11 deep. So they’re going to look for quality depth with this move. But again this is a situation where they want two way players. They just don’t want offensive players. They they want players that can play both ends of the floor. Yeah of course though in Oklahoma City Sam Presti took a couple of years to acquire basically every draft pick. For the next d

  1. What are the Wizzards doing?
They are stagging Vet guards with no Star at the team.
They have Sarra and Coulibaly as their corner stone guys for the defense.
Now tank to get a good pick at the draft. With CJ they are a better lottery team instead of a bad lottery team.

  2. Was wizards making "BIG" splash means they signing Tony bradley and seth curry 😂😂

NIKOLA VUCEVIC (CENTER) FROM CHICAGO BULLS TO MILWAUKEE BUCKS

DeAndre JORDAN (CENTER) FROM DENVER NUGGETS TO BROOKLYN NETS

IVICA ZUBAC (CENTER) From LA Clippers to New York Knicks if Giannis Antetokounmpo will NOT be acquired by the New York Knicks.

GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO (FORWARD/CENTER) FROM MILWAUKEE BUCKS TO NEW YORK KNICKS OR LOS ANGELES LAKERS OR MIAMI HEAT.

The trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Miami Heat is still possible but has restrictions due to Salary Cap. If the deal for Miami Heat will not push thru, Giannis Antetokounmpo might move to another team. Another issue: Since Kel’el Ware, a young 7’-0” rookie Center is already dominating in the Miami Heat big man position, a deal for acquiring Giannis Antetokounmpo from Milwaukee Bucks to Miami Heat might NOT push through.

Therefore, Giannis Antetokounmpo might be traded to New York Knicks instead as additional firepower for the Power Forward Position. In this case, Karl-Anthony Towns must play the Center Position.

Another option is Giannis Antetokounmpo might be traded to Los Angeles Lakers to play as the Power Forward Position. In this case, Power Forward Rui Hachimura might be traded somewhere else since he will be replaced by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

On the other hand, Victor Wembanyama must be acquired by the LA Lakers so he can play the center position and Lebron James will play as the number 3 position/Point Forward. If a deal will push thru for Giannis Antetokounmpo to be at LA Lakers, I suggest that Rui Hachimura will be traded to Miami Heat to play the Power Forward position to partner with Miami Heat Center Kel’el Ware.

If in case, there is a Salary Cap Issue in Los Angeles Lakers, they will be limited to options.

The LA Lakers will do the option of acquiring just 1 big man and that is either Victor Wembanyama or Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Case 1: If LA Lakers will acquire Victor Wembanyama, the LA Lakers might not push to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo due to Salary Cap Issue. Giannis Antetokounmpo might find some other NBA team to settle down. He might go to New York Knicks or any other team or he can still stay at Milwaukee Bucks.

Case 2: If LA Lakers will acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo, The LA Lakers might not push to acquire Victor Wembanyama again due to Salary Cap issue. Victor Wembanyama might find another NBA team if he wants to be traded. He also has the option to go back in France or in Europe to play for any French Team or any Euroleague Team.

KRISTAPS PORZINGIS (CENTER) FROM BOSTON CELTICS TO ATLANTA HAWKS

GEORGES NIANG (POWER FORWARD) FROM ATLANTA HAWKS TO BOSTON CELTICS

  4. Jordan Poole may have the lowest basketball IQ of any player in the NBA. He has terrible shot selection, poor court awareness, can be very streaky, and, by certain reports, is immature. With C.J. McCollum, Washington gets an adult in the room who can be an example to the younger players. Plus, McCollum has an expiring contract, while New Orleans is stuck with playing Poole $30 million-plus per year for the next two years.

  5. I respect if jordan poole accepted the offer but this Trade is the most horrible trade in history They show him no love poor jordan poole 💔
