so could the Denver Nuggets be trading away Michael Porter Jr to the Sacramento Kings this 2025 NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Denver Nuggets receiving Demar De Rozan a 2025 second round draft pick and a 2027 second round draft pick and the Sacramento Kings receiving Michael Porter Jr so this trade’s pretty intriguing because Demar Rosen isn’t exactly a Sprite Chicken uh this guy is on the wrong side of 35 but what this guy did have is a pretty amazing campaign for the Sacramento Kings in 2024 25 so from a positional standpoint this trade’s a bit of a wash from an organizational standpoint this could actually be more intriguing for the Nuggets because they give up on a player Michael Porter Jr whose value is still relatively high uh but does he have what it takes to carry this team uh to the next step as an organization i don’t think so and if you’re able to flip him for an arguably better player in the short term in Demard Rose and plus you’re getting back two second round drafts which they could definitely package together in in a future trade this is a pretty good move if you ask me now as I’ve mentioned before in some previous videos what this team needs in Denver isn’t necessarily a Demar De Rozan type um as their team is pretty good in their starting lineup but what this team desperately needs is some more depth so this trade’s a bit of a wash as it is a onein one out uh but where they’re getting some good value here in my opinion is those second round draft pickax which they could definitely use to their you know to at their disposal in regards to a future trade uh down the road to acquire some more depth so I think if you’re for the Sacramento Kings you’re getting back a player who has a bright future uh who’s also quite a bit younger as well injuries are a bit of a concern uh but if you’re going to keep someone like Zack Lavine and keep someone like Tamas Aonis for this next year’s campaign adding some youth to the team that has you know star potential in the for in the form of Michael Porter Jr this could be a pretty awesome trade for the Kings down the road but if I had to pick a winner for this deal strictly for the short term I’m going to go with the Denver Nuggets because of the draft capital but as always leave your thoughts
