so could the Golden State Warriors be trading away Jonathan Kaminga to the Los Angeles Lakers this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself this trade would see the Los Angeles Lakers receiving Nick Claxton and Jonathan Kaminga the Golden State Warriors receiving Dorian Finny Smith Dalton Connect and the 55th overall draft pick and the Brooklyn Nets receiving Ruie Hatchima Jared Vanderbilt and a 2031 first round draft pick so this trade’s pretty intriguing for a variety of different reasons now from the Lakers perspective I love this deal uh you’re buying pretty low on Jonathan Kaminga a player that has shown flashes in the past with the Warriors of maybe being a superstar player in this league so if you’re able to sort of buy low on him maybe this moves someone like Austin Reeds out the door eventually getting back some good return for him there so this could be a great move but also to Nick Claxton more importantly Nick Claxton addresses this team’s need for a starting caliber center so truthfully speaking you’re giving up some roster players and you’re getting worse depthwise for sure but you’re getting back two pretty important players that make this team better in the short term so I like this move a lot for the Lakers from the Warriors perspective it’s interesting as I mentioned before you’re selling a little bit low on Jonathan Kaminga in my opinion uh Dol Connect though is a pretty good price to get back in return uh perhaps Dalton Connect in this Warriors system can blossom into a superstar i get back a good three and D wing as well and Dorian Finny Smith i’m a second round draft pick so all things considered not bad but they are selling a little bit low on Kaminga in my opinion and if for the Brooklyn Nets it’s actually a pretty good return i think Ryu Hatchima could fit into this team tremendously well jared Vanderbilt would do well on a championship caliber team i think it’s kind of a three and D wing so if they’re able to flip him get back some draft capital uh that’s probably good for them if they keep him he makes the team a little bit more deeper and more solid and that 2031 first round draft pick from the Lakers is pretty good value so one of those scenarios where I actually do think that all three teams do pretty well in this deal if I had to pick a winner of this deal I would probably go with the Lakers one the Nets 2 and the Warriors 3 but as always leave your thoughts
