LATEST Chicago Bulls Draft Targets Before The 2025 NBA Draft

[Music] the 2025 NBA draft is finally here and coming up on today’s edition of the Bulls Report by Chad Sports we’ll be going over five draft targets for the Bulls in round one and also five draft targets for the Bulls in round two my name is Patrick Stemann and welcome in but speaking of the 2025 NBA draft we will be live tonight for the draft so make sure you guys are subscribed for the channel click that notification bell as well so you guys get notified right when we go live it’s going to be a lot of fun i cannot wait to see who the Bulls draft at pick number 12 tonight so if you guys want to tune in please hit that subscribe button today all right so the Bulls got two picks in the 2025 NBA draft they got pick number 12 and they got pick number 45 so we got five draft targets for pick 12 five draft targets for pick 45 overall though the Bulls they got a chance right now to hopefully solidify their roster a little bit more than what it is right now and we’re going to start off with a guy who you know we talked about a couple times here on the show but Carter Bryant forward out of Arizona he is a typical 3 and D role player he’s got very good size on his frame um now I will say when we show the stats on screen you guys may be getting a little vibe of Patrick Williams where Patrick Williams when he was back at Florida State didn’t play a whole lot and he projected to be a 3 and D role player and we obviously know how that turned out but Carter Bryant I think is a little different i think he’s got a more pure jump shot than Patrick Williams did i was never the biggest fan of you know his release at the top of his jumper in terms of Pub but Carter Bryant’s got a very beautiful jumper i also feel like he moves without the ball extremely well he is a good cutter now has he had the production at Arizona that you would hope for a guy going in the top 12 of the draft no but this is more projecting here and let’s just say Derek Queen you know Milew Watch are both off the board maybe the Bulls go in the direction of a 6’9 6’10 physical forward who also can get it done beyond the arc as well but another guy that’s been mocked to the Bulls a couple of guys a couple of times Noah is um got reports that he’s actually going to be leaving his team in the Germany Championship to uh attend the NBA draft so that’s an interesting decision there but he’s an interesting prospect um I think he has one of the highest ceilings but also one of the lowest floors i really don’t know how I feel about him but here is his uh numbers this past season 10.8 points per game 4.9 boards he does have some three-point shooting ability even though he only shot 27% he will take that shot at a pretty high qu in terms of where the Bulls are at right now I’m not saying it would be a crash out for me if they cho uh if they chose a Senate but I would definitely not be thrilled about it because I just don’t really trust the Bulls in developing a guy like him now if the Bulls let’s just say we like the Boston Celtics we were like a team like Oklahoma City Thunder then yeah Sale I would have a ton of interest in him but I just don’t really trust the Bulls in developing his talents um but again he would be an interesting piece can play some stretch five and play some big four for you but I also don’t think the Bulls will draft him but again there’s some interest on the Bulls front office side of things here so who knows what’s going to happen but the guy that I think is more likely than not to be a Chicago Bull tonight is Derek Queen center out of Maryland um extremely skilled big extremely physical big fella as well and he was awesome for Maryland this past season you know putting up solid numbers almost averaging a double double and he can be that typical playmaker at the top of the key you can run dribble handoffs for him um he’s got wicked good handle he kind of reminds me of like a Nas Reed Alprren Sangon type of big now does he have some liability defensively 110% but also I think with where the Bulls are at right now you can’t really be picky you just need to get good players in your organization and I can promise you Derrick Queen will be a good player now how massive is his ceiling i am not sure you know could he develop into a guy like Demarcus Cousins i don’t know if he has the athletic ability to do so but again he’s an interesting prospect and I think the Bulls if it’s not Malwatch who will probably go top seven of the draft watch out for a guy like Derrick Queen if I had to call it right now who the Bulls draft tonight at pick number 12 it will probably be the Maryland center Derek Queen he’s your Nicovich replacement if you do decide to trade him or just let his contract expire this upcoming season but I do like the idea of like Queen IO Giddy Bzelis kind of have that be those four um young players that you can sort of build around but a guy I would really like here um Cedric Coward i am a massive fan of his game this guy plays with such intensity and little comp for you Bulls fans um he’s like a juiced up Javvante Green and you know Stacy King he always says “Oh there’s five Javante Greens out there.” Like that’s how you feel when you’re watching Cedric Coward flies around the basketball court super super aggressive he can really be that you know typical 3 and D guard 6’6 he has good size on him and I would love his fit next to Josh Giddy a defensive-minded player who can obviously knock down the three-point ball at a high level i think even though pick number 12 would be a little rich this would be a good pick for the Bulls i think some fans would be freaking out saying “Oh man we just drafted a role player at you know pick number 12.” Yeah well I think he could be a high-end role player i think he’d be a great fourth fifth option on a championship team at the peak of his power so watch out for Cedric Coward but also the third center in this year’s draft who again I do think some fans would be freaking out if we chose him at 12 but let’s just say you know Mwatch goes higher than we think derek Queen goes in the top 10 maybe the Bulls look at a guy like Thomas Orbert now this guy is different than Queen he is a defensive-minded big he clears space in terms of rebounding like he’s just got a very wide frame uses his hips really well on box outs i’m a massive fan of his now is he a twitchy athlete not necessarily but I mean the guy averaged three and a half stocks per game last season in 31 minutes at Georgetown also a very bad Georgetown team and I always love when I see a bad basketball team but there’s one guy that stands out and they play winning basketball that is Thomas so I think he could be another guy Nola Vuchich replacement have a defensive-minded big just be a solid guy you know to hopefully build around for the future of the Bulls but you guys let me know who should the Bulls take at pick number 12 i’m going Derek Queen Cedric Coward and then Thomas Sorber that’s probably my top three for the Chicago Bulls now we’ll talk about round two here in a second a lot of uh household names actually if you guys been college basketball junkies over second round pick for the Chicago Bulls pick number 45 and five guys that could pick and all these guys are guards um and all these guys are actually proven college players and first off here Sean James guard out of Duke we broke them down yesterday um on the show he’s a physical guard he can shoot the three ball very well i think he you know has potential to be a pretty damn good defender in the NBA you know he’s got a great frame name him you guys can see it on screen right now very very you know physical great shoulders just you know he’s got a ton of mass on him and you know he’s been a guy he started off his college career at two lane had that breakout year his junior year averaging 14 a night came to Duke played some high impact basketball and also I love you know a guy in the second round like Cion James because already he’s already used to being a role player like when he was playing with Kppel Malwatch and Flag this past season at Duke he really just had to fit in and I think he could do that off the bench for the Bulls he could space the floor very well and also Bulls need more pure shooters but also pure shooters that can play both sides of the floor that’s who Seion James is now is he going to be you know a potential starter in the NBA i’m not sure but I do have some confidence that he could be a high-end role player off the bench for an NBA team and another guy I’m a massive fan of here um loved watching him at Marquette Cam Jones man this guy he is one of the most skilled players in this draft he is a super super smooth game and he’s been killing it for the Golden Eagles over the last three seasons um always been healthy he’s always shot the ball very very well um and you guys see the points per game number go up every single year he has developed his game very nicely and you know I have a tough time coming up with a pro comp for him but he is just a ball control guard i think he’s an underrated playmaker and you know he’ll come in and he’ll be an immediate impact day one like he’s a guy where if you draft him he should be playing for the Bulls right away have that lead guard off the bench him Lonzo now if you do decide to move off Kobe White you move Io to the starting spot and then your guard combo would be like a guy like Cam Jones Lonzo off the bench which should be a pretty fun guard tandem uh off the bench here for the Bulls but another guy Tyrese Proctor um not the smartest basketball IQ I will say um but this guy can shoot the lights out of the ball and that’s what you’d be drafting him to do um to shoot the ball he can find the open spots very very well shot 40 and a half% from three this past season at Duke averaging over 12 points per game and you know I said I’m a fan of Proctor’s game would I rather go a guy like Seion James who has more defensive capabilities in his game probably but still Tyrese Proctor if the Bulls just want to add more shooting this could be an interesting second round pick for Chicago um and I’ll definitely be interested in him but a guy I’m really interested in and this would be a reach of a pick um this guy is supposed to go late round two if not going undrafted but Ryan Nemhard um you know brother of Andrew Nemhard for the Indiana Pacers looks just like him plays just like him like if you want a pro comp for him it is his older brother um but he was an immediate impact his freshman year at Kraton running the show um for the Blue Jays over there and you know went to Gonaga and just been pretty consistent i mean this past season almost averaged 10 assists per game he’s a super smooth point guard and he’s a guy I think his floor is incredibly high like he will be an impact player he’s got to fight defensively now is he the defender that Andrew is not necessarily but could he develop into that potentially but again I want the Bulls get just a proven guard off the bench and the last one we’ll talk about here Elijah Martin um guard out of Florida again very physical like all of these guys besides Cam Jones have very physical frames to them and if you guys been watching NBA playoffs physical basketball is back and Elijah Martin he’s been a winner throughout his collegiate career i mean he was with that FAU team that made the Final Four obviously just won the Natty this past season at Florida um he’s a very very good onball defender um great point of attack guy super long wingspan and again this is just a guy you have him come off the bench have him develop i like his fit next to Lonzo but still at pick 45 i just want the Bulls to get a guy a three and D guard like just keep it simple and if you can do go a guy like Nem Hard he can control the offense he can work it for you um but those are just 10 draft part uh draft targets just keep your eyes out on here uh for the 2025 NBA draft but you guys let me know who is your dream draft target for the Bulls let me know your thoughts down below in the comments
