  1. They were lucky to be there anyway. Gave the thunder a good fight. But now it’s time for the pacers to go back to reality. This was their one chance. Teams like this get just one chance to do it. They won’t be back. Only pacer fans think they will

  2. One has to imagine that somewhere in the NBA someone is coming up with the math on this. If you are in danger of an Achille’s tear, how much motion and stress should you put on that heel? Hali would have been better off not driving on a fully extended heel. Settling for 3 pointers and waiting to get spelled by TJ was likely the smart move. Look at Durant and Tatum. Just like Hali, made aggressive moves in which they extended their heels. The solution is to play, but limit motion on the heel. With ChatGPT available, there is surely a numerical science available.

  3. Hali should've played for sure, but off the bench! The team is deep as is. No way should he have started after playing in game 6.

  4. Blame the modern sports shoes which is basicly a high heel shoe. Puts lots of pressure on the achilles. Not coincidence so many cases of it nowadays.

  5. Hopefully this did not happen to someone like Hali. Things like this should happen to people like Zion who is fat

  6. This is more than a championship ring for Hali! He will live the rest of his life as a proud warrior knowing he laid it all out there without regrets. Championship rings can be auctioned or sold, but this experience right here will remain in his heart as a shining light of braveness, pride, and dedication! Well done.

  7. I feel so bad for this handsome young man.. he doesn’t deserve this. I watched the NBA Finals and I was rooting for Indiana, Prayers for Tyrese.

  8. Bro this is the worst thing that can happen to anyone having to endure that pain in the back of the foot

  9. When your entire team and your relatives talk trash to Giannis and the Bucks, with Dame having torn his own Achilles, some people would describe this injury as Karma.

  10. This would actually be one of the biggest what ifs in NBA history I bet you if Hali never got injured we would see the pacers holding the Larry.

  11. bro if you have headphones right as he falls you can hear him go AHHH! i swear to god i heard it live and i heard it here

  12. This might go down as one of the worst injuries of all time. I hope he bounces back and can make another deep playoff run like this and win the chip.
