so could the Charlotte Hornets be trading away LaMelo Ball to the Miami Heats this 2025 NBA off season well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Miami Heat receiving LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets receiving Terry Roier Nicole Jovich Haimey Hawkins the 2025 20th overall draft pick and a 2031 first round draft pick so this trade’s pretty polarizing because LaMelo Ball doesn’t seem like the kind of player uh that fits this Heat organization because of how Pat Rally runs the team how Eric Bolster coach coaches the team LaMelo Ball’s going to have to buy in it’s going to be a lot different from how he plays right now in Charlotte just kind of given the fact that he is a bit of a um I would say a louder personality just with you know in regards to how he plays etc i’m not sure if it’d be a good fit from a basketball perspective though this adds some more firepower to the group i’m having a back court of LaMelo Ball and Tyler Hero as well as retaining players like um you know Duncan Robinson Bamabio etc you know as well as Andrew Wiggins yeah this team becomes a lot better and they could definitely be a pretty good team next year in the Eastern Conference if the Melo Ball buys in and offensively speaking this is a bit of an upgrade for them if you kind of break it down now from the Hornets perspective if they want to sort of give up on the of the LaMelo Ball era this might not be a terrible way to start uh you’re getting back three pretty valuable players you know Terry Roier of course is known to Charlotte Hornets fans from his d from his time in Charlotte nicole Jovich and Haimey Hawkins uh two pretty good young players that carry a lot of value uh these two players could potentially blossom with a change of scenery and maybe more of an increased role in this offense and also too you’re getting back two pretty important draft picks this year the 20th overall draft pick uh could be pretty valuable in a pretty deep draft and that 2031 first round draft pick for sort of how this team is built in Miami that could possibly possibly be a lottery pick if all things go a little bit south and they blow up their roster in the short term uh prior to that so LaMelo Ball very talented player but if I had to pick a winner for this deal I’m actually going to go with the Charlotte Hornets just by a little bit in my opinion uh but as always leave your thoughts
