As a lifelong Pacers fan, who grew up cheering on the ABA champ Pacers like Roger Brown, Mel Daniels, and Big Mac — George McGinnis, the fact that the '24–'25 Pacers LOST makes me love them MORE. Very PROUD of them. Don't know if I will ever see them at this point again in my lifetime, but it does not matter. They are a GREAT team and my heart is FULL. Congrats to OKC. Flowers to them and their fans.
Was it worth it? A player always wants to play but the management and medical team need to make the right call. They gambled, lost the finals and threw away whole next season.
