db those tears are because of how hard he has worked It’s not just about the dream but the realization of how difficult this is And then on the other side the Indiana Pacers the leader of the Pacers greeting his team It’s going to be hard to do tonight but they need to keep their heads held high What a performance from this Indiana Pacer team They gave everything they had Bought tooth and nail empty the tank and fell just one game short of their first NBA title [Music] Hallebertton didn’t matter the risk He wanted to be on the floor with his teammates and unfortunately injured his Achilles We heard an awful lot about small markets Mike ratings etc This has been an absolute privilege of a series to be involved with All of these men gave their heart and soul These coaches coached a great series Richard Mike what an absolute privilege For anybody any basketball fan that loves great team basketball with hardworking defense These two teams made you remember why you fell in love with the game right now Let’s go to Lisa Salters

  1. As a lifelong Pacers fan, who grew up cheering on the ABA champ Pacers like Roger Brown, Mel Daniels, and Big Mac — George McGinnis, the fact that the '24–'25 Pacers LOST makes me love them MORE. Very PROUD of them. Don't know if I will ever see them at this point again in my lifetime, but it does not matter. They are a GREAT team and my heart is FULL. Congrats to OKC. Flowers to them and their fans.

  2. Was it worth it? A player always wants to play but the management and medical team need to make the right call. They gambled, lost the finals and threw away whole next season.

  3. β€œIt was the best of times. It was the worst of times.” That was the best 7 minutes in Pacers NBA history leading up to the worst minute in Pacers NBA history. Given that it is an Achilles injury, this is legendary like the Greek tragedy !

  4. Who's that nutty blonde woman screaming and making a fool CJ? Geeze, still screaming! The cameras have every right to go down the hall and follow the players, win or lose

  5. Hoosier people are hardcore Basket Ball fans. The Pacers have never had a championship team unfortunately. They get close. Always give false hope to fans. It's sad.

  6. McConnell was trying his best to will his team to a win to the point where OKC had to double him! Playing like he wanted it, not playing scared! McConnell can play on my team any damn day! Mad respect for him.

  7. Heartbreak the only word to describe this…7 mins into the quarter bro cooking having his best 1st quarter in the series smh…n this team still played they heart out…but coming from a Pacer fan OKC earned that that defense in the 2nd half was smothering

  8. I love the Indiana Pacers and i was almost sure this was their year to shine bright above everyone else but Indiana had to many turn over thar cost then the championship and to make thing wore their main man went down in the final game 1st quarter im pretty sure that Tyrese and T.J took the loss the hardest both men gave 100% and still faiedl to bring home the trophy πŸ†

  9. It's been an absolute privilege to lose! πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

Oh what’s the matter Indiana? Didn’t win?

You been around for 58 years and only two appearances. What a disgrace! And don't forget, it's revenge time next year for the teams you tried to humiliate. Boy, talk about respect now, you have none. Enjoy your misery, because I sure am.

  10. Pacers were gonna win the game 7. You can feel their momentum still on going from game 6. Hali's injury shattered their power. Having hali would make a big difference.

  11. He may not have won the NBA Finals, but he won millions if not billions, of fans for his leadership and heart.
