so could the Atlanta Hawks be trading away Trey Young to the Milwaukee Bucks this 2025NBA off season well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from Fadeaway World.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Trey Young the Atlanta Hawks receiving Jordan P Marcus Smart Andre Jackson Jr Tyler Smith a 2031 Milwaukee Bucks first round draft pick a 2026 firstround draft pick swap and a 2030 first round pick swap and the Washington Wizards receiving Damen Lillard the 47th overall pick and a 2031 second round draft pick so this trade was proposed prior to the trade that took place earlier today of Jordan Pool going to the New Orleans Pelicans for CJ McConnell so um CJ McCollum obviously Jordan Pool can’t be involved in this deal so you’re going to have to go ahead and find a way uh to make the value work for the Hawks without including Jordan P so however you guys may think that fits that’s up to you guys but let’s just focus on Trey Young going to the Bucks and the Wizards getting Damen Lillard in this trade proposal so from the Bucks perspective if they want to go ahead and add some more talent uh to hopefully make Giannis happy and make the Bucks a contender next year they’re going to have to sort of make a move of this magnitude uh the Bucks are going to have to get pretty aggressive trade a lot of future draft uh you know assets etc and if they’re able to get Trey Young and they’re only really giving up uh a first round draft pick in 2031 a first round pick swap a first round pick swap and Damen Lillard’s contract which by the way he’s injured next year that is some pretty clean and tidy work from the Bucks and I think that having a back court with Trey Young in it next year in Milwaukee alongside Giannis etc this could be a really good group and keep in mind the Eastern Conference next year is pretty wide open in my personal opinion so I like the idea of Trey Young going to the Milwaukee Bucks from the Hawks perspective now it’s tough to say because Jordan Pool would have to be replaced with someone else but I just wouldn’t really do this in my opinion like if I were to trade away Trey Young I’d want to get back a ton of draft capital and assets in return they have a good young core in Atlanta maybe Trey Young’s not going to be a part of it for the long term but if you’re able to sort of build around Zack Reset Tyson Daniels you know um Jaylen Johnson etc this could be a really good fun group uh for the Hawks in the foreseeable future so I think that in their best interest they want to get back some draft capital because the next couple years they kind of lack that so I don’t love it here from the Hawks perspective now from the Wizards perspective as I mentioned before they acquired CJ um McCollum earlier today so I don’t think Damen Lillard would be in the mix there but having a reunion between Damen Lillard and TJ McCollum uh from their Portland Trailblazers days plus Draft Capital would be a pretty awesome site so if I had to pick a winner of this deal I’m going to go with the Bucks one uh the Wizards 2 and the Hawks 3 and as always leave your thoughts
