monica thank you so much you see the emotion living the American dream as a refugee with six siblings and his mom they fled Sudan during a time of war his dad stayed behind to work and and you see this young man every interview he has won everybody over because he understands what to say and then when he’s on the court he understands what to do as a defensive stopper you can’t help but love the story i love the story but you also hear the him interviewed you hear him communicate you watch how his teammates respond to him people want to be around this guy the hard thing is a lot of big guys i’m I’m going to be too general here i’m I’m going to say something too general they play basketball just cuz they’re tall all right people don’t understand that he got invited to play he’s tall but he looks like to me he loves to play yes and I love that in him he’s not just playing cuz he’s tall he got introduced to the game cuz he’s tall he loves to play i love big dudes that play big yep that’s what I like i don’t like big dudes that play small i like big dudes that play big he’s one of those guys so props to the Phoenix Suns in doing that but they did something right and something wrong in within moments of one another do you want to give him the news you want me to give it to him tom Shirani our NBA insider the good Lord are trading Mark Williams to the Suns for the 29th pick tonight and a 2029 first round pick respectfully what on earth are the Phoenix Suns doing giving up a first round pick in 2029 for Mars Williams this is the same dude that the Lakers were looking to acquire and supposedly failed physical now I don’t know listen we don’t know all the details about that but here’s the bottom line if you’re the Phoenix Suns one of the reasons you made the deal the move Kevin Durant was to acquire assets you’re trying to hold on to them why would you give it away for Mark Williams four years from now and and in the last unless I unless we don’t have all the information but assuming we do they just in the matter of 10 minutes added two centers to their roster that play the same position yes and look I I like centers i’m not trying to be critical of them centers are the most likely players to be played off the floor we saw Oklahoma City yes a week ago they played big all year and they got to the finals and they couldn’t really do Minnesota where Rudy go so you got to be real careful overvaluing some of these guys cuz they just added two of them in the last 10 minutes and you don’t give up a first round pick if you’re Phoenix no no we’ll put that on pause

    This is not a bad trade. The Lakers offered more last season. The Suns will be looking to add point guard or an athletic forward to complement their three guard set up. I’m guessing there’s at least one more trade They’ll be making. The defense will be much improved.

    What SAS and some people here does not see and understand is that the Suns are simply shoring up their center position, adding depth and looking forward to a NOT-so-distant future…suddenly the Suns got some size to show for it! Let's go Suns.

    At the two minute mark, what is Bob Myers talking about? One of the reasons Oklahoma City won is because they had Hartenstein and Holmgren. That inside presence was big all season.

    I don’t like this trade simply because he seems to similar to Ayton, and they couldn’t win with him and Book so what makes them think this will work.

    Problem with the majority of NBA teams… they refuse to use their full bench… they play like 7/8 dudes. Gotta run the full squad to get through a season.

    Now all we need is more centers bad news is we got micic back so sad about that and nurkic is gone but at least mark won’t make me wonder why he just doesn’t play defense

    He has a lot to cry for. Obviously, getting drafted and get a chance to play in the NBA is dream, but more importantly, not getting deported is another miracle.

    I think that Richards is going to be involved in a trade. They have to shed salary since they are adding some with Williams. Moves are coming

    Stephen A is wrong on this one, the suns are a top 5 team now and was only lacking in the center position. KD is a great player and a Sharp shooter but defense wins championships.
    The new look suns are real contenders now
