The Nets select Egor Demin with the 8th overall pick | 2025 NBA Draft

let’s see who the Brooklyn Nets select nba Commissioner Adam Silver has the pick with the eighth pick in the 2025 NBA draft the Brooklyn Nets select Jaor Demond from Moscow and Brigham Y Young University jaor Deman is the first player born in Russia to be drafted since 2013 he grew up in Moscow his dad Vladimir played professionally in Russia and actually I love this he makes sure dad does to send game feeds to all of Jaor’s fans and those videos include commentary and include analysis that he does in real time at 15 Jaor became the first Russian on Real Madrid’s youth team and and Jay his passing that really seems to be his calling card here 180 assists this season a freshman record for BYU yeah incredible vision he was third in the Big 12 in assists and he was second in assist percentage you know you’re talking about a guy who’s got positional size he’s over 68 another guy with really long arms a 610 wingspan but with that size and length he is really big in pick and roll situations but he’s an excellent handler a handler an excellent passer and he’s daring out on the court uh really good in transition just uh but elite in passing his pick and roll vision outstanding got a great feel for the game one thing he does not do of yet is he’s not a consistent shooter only shot 28% from three but Malik you mentioned set a BYU freshman assist record uh had multiple 10 assist games uh he’s played overseas he knocked down 42 threes on the season he does not hesitate to shoot the ball but I would call him streaky at best just didn’t hit a high percentage of those well the Nets I think hope Jagor helps this offense it ranked 28th here this season and now he joins a handful of players here selected in the top 10 from BYU and guess what wings wings again we 10 picks in what did I tell you Dre before the draft i said I don’t see no big man going top 10 i told you that Jay it’s the most important position in the NBA right now and what teams are seeing is they they’re following the footsteps from the Indiana Pacers in the Oklahoma City Thunder i want to know where Danny A was on that list does that mean he’s not a modern in the modern era what you mean that list of BYU guys the modern era the headquarters loved it uh maybe some fans in Brooklyn just wanting to make sure is he saying who’s that we just told you sir he’ll he’ll show you who he is he’ll show you he’ll show you exactly who he is yeah they didn’t let Christophering in New York we just need to sit down and keep a cool Tell me you don’t watch basketball without telling you you don’t watch basketball just keep a cool booty up there man

  1. I turned this video on to my boyfriend and now he's convinced he can be a YouTube star too. Let's start practicing🧡

  2. Looking forward to seeing every top 10 player besides Cooper Flagg being out of the league or a bench warmer in a few years. The buss % of the NBA draft for the past 15 years is very high

  3. Great pick, having a real playmaker instead of “dlo” will pair with cam Thomas well and more picks to come hopefully Walter Clayton or Carter Bryant

  4. Shocked their aren't enough negative comments here. I'm a Nets fan so it's in my best interest to root for him though, and if he does end up being good, that'd be awesome

  5. Egor has a lot of upside and growth. He's not gonna be an immediate type of guy, but in both consistency and character I have no doubt he will show up and be a great pick for Brooklyn at 8

  6. Не удивлён тому, что в Бруклине до сих пор есть русский след)
