The notion of underachieving or overachieving should be looked at on draft day only. When LeBron was drafted he was expected to win a championship in Cleveland, become a MVP, etc. He did all that so he overachieved. When Kobe was drafted and trade for the Lakers, they were expecting a young star who would lead the team. Kobe became a 5 time champ, he overachieved. Jokic on draft day was just a regular big man, he became a 3 time mvp and a champion. He overachieved. Guys like SAS love to move the goal post whenever it’s convenient for their arguments. We gotta stop listening to them because if Giannis is an underachiever then throw the whole league away fr. Ain’t nothing he could do that will change a hater like SAS’s mind

People are taking what Stephen A says out of context on purpose because it’s Stephen A and nobody wants to admit that he does have a point sometimes… there’s a reason we haven’t had repeat champions since GSW. Just like the Nuggets, Lakers, and other teams who have won a recent ring. If I’m not mistaken, none of them even made it back to defend their titles did they? So what Stephen A is saying is actually valid, but it’s not just Giannis. People look at it as hating because he single Giannis out but it applies to pretty much every superstar who’s won a ring lately. Jokic seems to be an exception because he’s got multiple MVP’s but he still fits in that category as well
