back here on CBS Sports HQ on the clock presented by Jeep there’s only one the Brooklyn Nets latest selection out of Israel ben Saraf the Israeli League Premier Rising Star and AIA U18 European Championship MVP so just to recap with the first four picks Jaor Demond Nolan Trayor Drake Powell and Ben Saraf now and uh back here with Adam Picklestein and Gary Parish your grade here for this selection is what it’s a B uh Saraf is a jumbo southpaw guard he’s 6’6 he’s got a strong frame he’s arguably one of if not the best live dribble passer in this draft so he’s very creative he puts a ton of pressure on the rim great positional size the question again comes down to the shooting so I I’m going to reiterate what I said earlier i think the trend you are seeing in Brooklyn is that they are willing to invest in their player development program specifically when it comes to getting guys to make shots and it might work but I don’t love the idea of getting a bunch of I don’t want to say non-shooters but people who have shooting concerns all in the same draft and just hoping you can figure out how to get these numbers improved because with these draft picks um across the board it’s a talented guard um lots of potential but there are concerns about whether he’ll ever be a high level shooter we’ve consistently said this about draft picks tonight going to Brooklyn and here we are again all right so they have the next pick at 27 as we await to hear what they do but Ben Saraf is the latest selection and Brooklyn look trying to make something happen right i mean this is they’re trying to resuscitate their franchise it didn’t work out with Katie and Kyrie and James Harden so they’re they’re trying to come up with something here

Interesting pick. Seems legit
19 Year Old, Plays in the German League final right now against a Euro league team. he plays professionally since he was 16 and he faced ex NBA players for years. Its hard for Americans to evaluate players from Europe I get it but I really think he fits this team future and what they are trying to achieve.
