Kasparas Jakucionis Is The 20th Pick 🌴 Welcome To Miami, KJ!

with the 20th pick in the 2025 NBA draft the Miami Heat select Casperis Yakuchonis from Billy Lithuania and the University of Illinois casperis Yakuchonis perk nicknamed KJ yeah he was you got that one i wasn’t going to even try i was going to work on to get some well he was born in Lithuania and he started playing basketball when he was 3 years old he moved to Spain when he was 16 and he played for FC Barcelona from 2022 to 2024 and he says his proudest basketball achievement it was winning the gold medal with Lithuania at the FIA U16 European Championship but I would imagine Jay that this moment it has to be right up there absolutely another Lithuanian lottery pick the last one Yonas Valenunis who went fifth overall in 2011 and this guy has a ton of skill another guard that with positional size that’s really good in pick and roll situations very skilled excellent footwork but you put him in a pick and roll situation his vision is really impressive he plays with pace uh he can decelerate i think he’s a much better shooter than his numbers indicated over the last part of the season he wound up shooting 32% from three overall malikica I had Kasparis Yaguchonis as the 11th rated player on my big board this is a slide for him but he’s going to be thrilled where he ended up because the Miami Heat need a ball handler and playmaker in his mold in the worst possible way casper Yakonis is the best pick and roll playmaker in this draft

  1. The Heat keep thinking they drafting the next Luka or Jokic with these picks the lady few years. t's starting to become laughable.

  2. Love this pick. Now if we could trade our way into the early second round to get Fleming or Kam Jones I would be very happy. I'd trade Jamie to do so if that's what it took.

  3. Bout got damn time my team drafted a Point Guard. Great selection Miami Heat πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

  4. I don't know about this one. We're going to find out when the summer league Comes around. I feel like every teams trying to get them a Luka DončiΔ‡….. I have my faith in Miami though. They haven't stared me wrong on a draft Pick yet. I mean, some were kind of wrong but more, right than wrong.

  5. This pick allows us to trade Bam for future picks. He can go try to win a championship in some other team. While we rebuild with young talent.

  6. It will be funny with all the picks of the Nets and bunch of guards will turn out to be bust or worse than KJ..

  7. KJ originally predicted that 10~15 pick would be selected !
    We found a treasure at 20 pickπŸ”₯
I expect him to develop into a healthy Luka、Tyrese、LowryπŸ”₯

  8. Mark my words the greatest PG Lithuania has produced since Sarunas Jasikevicius, he's going to lead HEAT to a chip and surprise everyone.

  9. Casper the Ghost is here! πŸ‘» But don't be fooled by the friendly look, that boy is cold πŸ₯Ά

  10. SUPERB!! D Wade was my fav, now I continue HEAT with JAKUCIONIS!

Jakucionis got underrated because Illinoi coaching, put all the weight on him, and 4 other guys stopped playing… off the ball offense, switches or screens. They would literally stand in a corner and look at Jakucionis for the whole time. He got branded as superstar, gave the final four expectation, and this made everyone rely on him only. Which had a psychological hit on him. First he tried his best playing with no team-movement, and failed to score. Then he felt bad for shooting and losing games, as if he failed the team. Because of that, he stopped playing how he was playing since the start – he clearly stopped shooting and just gave it away, passively. You can see it all if you watch every game, it couldn't be anymore clear.

But now you have NBA level coaching team, that is less likely to overlook this. Plus it made him prep that much harder, and prepared him for way bigger load and struggle.

He will be ready to start straightaway.
