this is your New York Sports Minute presented by Tri-State Cadillac hey congrats to Oklahoma City on winning the 2024 2025 NBA Championship now we can officially move on to next season and solely focus on the future of New York basketball which is what I felt like James Dolan Leon Rose and the Knicks did by not trading for Kevin Durant they need a coach but they didn’t trade for KD i mean you guys saw the video where KD found out that Phoenix had shipped him to Houston over the weekend you’re headed to Houston how did that sound it’s cold way to find out you’re traded great job to Leon by not trading away key young assets for a player who is on the other side of his prime and whose salary doesn’t tie up the cap which wouldn’t allow you to get more key pieces in a deeper bench both OKC and the Pacers have a deep bench if KD were to get hurt you won’t be playing or paying a player to not play and to get a lot of money to rehab the less impulse moves from a franchise that is knocking on the door to a championship means there’s a process let’s trust it
