Brad Stevens on why the Celtics drafted HUGO GONZALEZ #bostonceltics #hugogonzalez #nba
yeah we’ve been watching Hugo for a long time um you know um he’s obviously been on everybody’s radar I think for a long time and then um you know followed his year with a a great Real Madrid organization and team and um closely and watched him in all the you know U8s and those types of things and um just big fan of how he plays um he’s tough um he’s hard playing he cuts um he goes after the ball he competes um like he’s got all the intangibles of a winning basketball player and um there’s things he can get better at um just like everybody else at that age but um competitiveness is not you know it’s at a high level i think he’s a young guy but a little bit of an old soul i think he’s played with adults for a long time he’s playing on a team full of experienced former NBA players and you know high high level pros all from all over the world so like this this guy um has been around at a high level and coached really well um so he’ll be you know I think you when you talk about years um overall yes he’s young but years of basketball experience um you know of the things that you know we will think are important it’s probably pretty high you know we were really excited that Hugo was available at 28
