hey man what’s going on man hey man I got actually got some Pelican news i thought the last next Pelican video I was going to make was about the there has been they would draft that they were going to draft tomorrow but uh no so the Pelicans have made a move before the NBA draft tomorrow they traded CJ McCollum Kelly Olen and a future second round pick to the Washington Wizards for Jordan Pool but Sadique Bay and the 40th and the 40th pick uh in the NBA draft i’m sure that’s that pick will be for tomorrow but man I don’t know i really don’t know what to think about this about this trade uh I don’t know i mean I I’ve been all I’ve been all for trading CJ McCullum been all been all for trade him uh ever since uh I thought we should have traded him in the offseason uh let him go to a you know a a contender maybe he can uh maybe he can get to the playoffs and uh win something but we trade him to the Wizards wizards are just like us they’re just another garbage garbage franchise so Pelicans get Jordan Pool who averaged 20 and a half points uh per game last season and Sadi Bay averaged by 13 and about 13 and a half 13.7 points per game uh last year for the Wizards and uh but but Jordan Pool is going to command a big salary i mean uh in a few years he’s be get paid uh I think this coming season is like 29 a.5 million then the the year after that’s over 30 then it gets close to 35 and 26 27 so I I really really don’t know what to think about this trade um I don’t know if this is just uh if there’s another trade looming after this one i’m just not sure uh I guess this I mean I I don’t know i don’t Are we going to are we going to keep pool are we going to keep Bay i mean I I don’t know i don’t I don’t know the know the rules on that can you trade a player right away after after after acquiring him right before the draft i don’t know but uh I mean I’ve been wanting to get rid of McCullum because he is he’s his he is a very high high salary but um of course McCullum’s getting up up there in age but we have a point guard on this team we have a point of a point guard this team jonte Murray’s not going to probably play play next year for play them 80% of the season but so the Pelicans trade CJ McCullum and and Kelly Olen for a future second round pick to the Washington Wizards for Jordan Pool Sadique Bay and and a 40th uh pick in Marvel’s draft what y’all guys think i don’t know i don’t know uh I’m just I’m just lure of any any kind of move the Pelicans make because every move they make the past several seasons have just been horrible and haven’t worked out so why would I think why would I think anything different about this one so have a good one and uh see you next time
