then uh Eric Dixon out of Villainova did go undrafted so he’s a potential guy but anyway on Diwara he uh plays for Colette in the French league last played for Colette 6 foot nine looks like a little a little bootleg uh Pascal Syaka man he He’s got a little He’s got a little bag to him a little bit he’s got to work on on his offense but right now what based on the scouting reports that we are reading here Al his defense is on point right now but he’s just got a he looks like more of a developmental prospect when it comes to his offensive game especially the three-pointer he only shot about 59% from the free throw line that he’s got to work on for sure and as he would put it he’s got to work on his threes friends with Pekcom Dier out so maybe the next maybe they they’re moving the chess pieces you know five years from now to make sure they keep Pomeier happy in case he breaks out into the next you know Kawhi Leonard or something yeah yeah we’re getting ready for after the Villanova connection we’re going to go to the French connection we’re going back to the French connection okay i’m I’m gonna say this man why is it that all the French players sound the same as Frank Noakina defense is there offense we got to work on you know same with Pome Dier what is going on man can we make Can we just get a guy who comes in here offensively ready this is just ridiculous but I will new coach may be and this goes to Pome that goes to Kick these are just guys he could develop man the Knicks are in a place where you just made the Eastern Conference Finals you could take a flyer on a guy see if he becomes something and let’s just think of it this way with if you could get something out of Doier and now uh Dior Dawara yeah and they become like good wing rotational players then if you put OG and Bridges on the bench you can constantly disrupt opponents defensively with the constant wingspan the vert the verticality of these players so that’s the future that’s the that’s the mo what it seems like from the Knicks but hey man I’m not I I don’t hate it like you’re they’re in a place where they really could take chances on guys like this it’s not like where we drafted Frank it’s like yo we need players now man we can’t be taking on projects and and just hope that they can transpire into something knicks are in a place where they can take on a project right now hey get get the wing factory going man i’m not mad at it i I love Athletic Wings he’s a guy who’s known right now who can guard one through five he’s a positionless defender we’ll wait for his offense to catch up and hey let’s see man you know just like Dier get let’s give these guys some time and see how they develop but hey you can never have enough wings just like they say in in in baseball you can never have enough pitching well in this era of the NBA you can never have enough versatile wings and when you think about it just where the Knicks are right now if they didn’t have like a slam dunk pick they have the core you got about four young players on the bench right now who are all under contract i would assume that they bring back Huck Py you have Dier you have Kohic there already right you have Deuce you got Mitch that’s That’s 10 right there so the next four how many you 15 man roster i believe 15 man I think 15 yeah so the next five you’re going vets right for the most part now he’s going to be coming into summer league if he has a great summer league hey at the very best maybe he gets a two-way deal you get three two-way contracts i think that’s a good luxury to have in this second apron era where you can you can have the guys close to the team you have them develop they’ll spend some time with the main roster they’ll spend some more time in Westchester in the GLeague getting used to whatever whoever the coach’s system is right whoever it is maybe it’s mine at this point people are saying I need to put my hat in the ring so you know maybe I’ll talk to Leon and them and see if they need me but so yeah not not a not a bad thing to to uh to experiment on if if they feel like um you know he he can contribute they had the 50th pick in the draft and they made a trade they swung a trade with the with the Clippers who were at 51 the guy the Clippers got from Nevada looked kind of intriguing though he was another wing he I was like “Yo why do we keep him what’s going what’s going on with him i want to see.” They said the wingspan wasn’t there CP they said the wingspan was a negative wingspan so the Knicks want a positive wingspan they look at Mau Bridges they’ll get OJ like look man we we need guys who can disrupt at the three and the four so yeah Kobe Sanders what was up with co I was a little intrigued with Kobe Sanders man why didn’t the Knicks want this are it’s going to be an interesting summer league team and whoever the assistant coach is you know they’re going to have an interesting roster to deploy out there in summer league i’m very curious to see how these guys play but look at this point once again the Knicks are just comfortable man they don’t need to rely on these guys these guys can just develop hopefully get some garbage time minutes who knows maybe they show something and they actually get some solid decent rotational minutes just because you know at some point guys are going to be taking rest it it’s hard in today’s NBA where they’re triggering the second apron mhm so the alternative course of action is Clint Capella CIA he might be I think he isn’t he C CA the alternative might be because as you acrewue more years of service in the NBA your vet minimum number increases so I think the most for 10 plus years is around $3.5 million or $3.7 million so you’re talking about like a $2 million difference here between that and a taxpayer mid-level that you can offer somebody and hope that they give you a break give you a deal he’s represented by Wasserman okay all right so he’s not coming all right anybody else luke well from three with Dallas last year who else did I have in that list without going to the clip trying to think i have the Tai Jerome route i have Brogden i don’t think we’re g we we can’t we not going to be able to afford Ty Jerome i mean he was not great in the postseason no he wasn’t so I think that may if you’re thinking about contract negotiations like look man he had a good regular season it’s the same thing what the Knicks did to Emanuel Clifford right he had a good regular season quick you know second run came second place in six man of the year knicks didn’t give him the bag because he said “Hey you didn’t really do this right?” Yeah i know i I obviously you just ask the qu you just ask you say “Hey Ty Derome would you be interested in playing over here?” Because look man I don’t think pressure is going to come back so you got to go figure out where you’re going to get that where you got to go spend that money yeah uh yeah abuseli i think Philly might pick him up they had a good conversation they did have a good conversation um on on the draft just as far as like you know will they will they will Joel and be get shelfd like damn near till March April of next year real talk you know at this point for Philly like is there even any point of him playing you know starting a year off like you might as well just bring him in close to if you if you’re in a playoff hunt which I would have to think they would be if everybody’s healthy but with Paul George that’s a big if you know do you put the process on the shelf until February basically you know I’d be interested in Malcolm Brogen too yeah vet off the bench i know he doesn’t bring the athleticism that you’re talking about but still guy who won six man of the year you know to me he’s kind of just been resting these last two seasons being out in Portland Washington hasn’t really had to exert himself too much i mean I just gave you the two teams so put two and two together you know why but I’d say give him a chance you’re not asking him to be a starter but if you’re looking for somebody to play next to Brunson for those short stints to relieve him of pressure create for others and still go get his own shot I think Brogden still has enough in the tank to do that yeah that’s fair i I take a look there yo vet minimums are hard man they’re they’re vet minimums for a reason um and you have other teams who have the mid-level exception to spend which is $14 million and you have then you have the taxpayer mid-level for teams that are interested in spending that that’s that’s a 5.7 and you have your vet minimums and as I said the tricky thing for the Knicks is that if they touch that money you’re in the second apron is there a player out there who’s who’d be worth using that money on you know would you Well I and this is the thing like I know you we look at the free agent market because you don’t got really trade assets or or move players but would you consider trading for somebody like Lonzo Ball or Kobe White that’s Well Lonzo’s $10 million so who you who are you trading for Lonzo that’s the problem when you’re talking about adding up salaries and making it work it I would it would have to be a bigger deal right a three team deal or or a multiplayer deal or just a one for one look just look at the the players that we have in our roster right now how many players are you going to put in a deal to Tre Lonzo Bull like two three you would have to if you I mean Mitch is the only one with the contract close enough cuz he makes 12 right he’s expiring but you don’t want to give up Mitchell Robinson because we just saw what he did in the postseason we need a center and if you’re looking at I mean we’re we’ve gone on and on about how this the starting five was a net negative and you definitely want Mitchell Robinson in that starting five put Cat back at the four so you just want to add to the center depth so no I wouldn’t do that and then McBride doesn’t make will go through their growing pains not in the event they will so you’re still going to need vets so they’re still going to have to go out there and uh and and improve the bench in any way that they another level because the things that I was asking for is to see him even run the second unit because while Brun was out during the with his injury you had him shown that he can do a little bit of initiating so why not utilize him to do that for this team i feel like it it could have given Brunson a little bit of a break switched up the offense a bit we just didn’t get to see that man yeah let let the new coach see what’s going on with him i I don’t think any trade makes sense unless you’re bringing in an upgrade and I don’t think at his salary level you’re getting you know comparable depth i I don’t think a Macau registry makes sense i just don’t see it no like what like why because we want our picks back like I get the team the team like this team just made the Eastern Conference Finals and if they made if they and if you are upset with Here’s what I got to put in perspective if you were upset with how Tibs coached this team they still got to the Eastern Conference Finals imagine you get a coach that said that is more adaptable that is flexible that does create an offense for this team that does throw a little bit of zone out there switches up the defense to throw off opponents does this team then with the talent on this roster go to the finals right right and on top of that this team just made the ECF tatum’s out celtics just had to sell KP and Drew Holiday that team’s not the same anymore pacers could be without Hal Burton for this upcoming season right the only teams that you’re really looking at this year are really Cleveland can they repeat what they did
