all right first question for Jeremiah Fierce anyone second row in the middle hey Jeremiah congratulations yes sir thank you i know in the pre-draft process you ended up working out with New Orleans just uh how did you enjoy your time there and and meeting the people uh with that organization man it was great um staff was amazing the players was amazing as well um living situation looked like it wasn’t too bad um and the food was amazing as well so I enjoy my time out there for sure any other questions for Jeremiah first row first of all congratulations sorry thank you you know 10 15 years looking back let’s say you’ve had a successful NBA career accomplished all your goals what do you think the most important development in that time you know will have been the key to really unlocking your full potential really just the experience continue to go out there and give it your all uh you never you never can know too much so continuing to learn and share some knowledge with a couple of the other guys and hopefully the vets your knowledge with me as well so to continue help me putting myself in the best situation possible third row on the right Ben couch NBA.com uh how did you feel you’ll fit in with this Pelicans team and what’s got you excited about joining that particular group man I feel like it’ll be a great fit um they have some amazing pieces we obviously just got Jordan Pool as well so that’ll be a great addition um they have Zion he’s a live threat somebody that you can get the ball to somebody that’s going to impact the game in all aspects of the game and I bring a lot to the team as well so this is going to be super dope um looking to build that connection with those guys and add a lot of wins to the win columns this year first row on the left yeah jeremiah now that you’re in this position is there anything that comes with you know being the first draft prospect since Trey Young to come from Oklahoma you know how do you carry that with you um really just going out there doing my thing um treated with the same mindset approach everything the same way um to kill and to make the right reads make the right choices as well on the court so just continuing to go out there have fun um personally I don’t believe in pressure uh cuz I trust my work and know know what I’m capable of second row middle hey Jeremiah uh Schmidt again um the Pelicans just also made a trade to draft Derek Queen so you’re going to be real yeah you’re going to be joining another uh rook classmate just uh what are your thoughts on being able to play with a guy like Derek man that’s super dope um Derek is a great guy great guy uh super talented um you can expect a lot from him this season um and I feel like our connection and our duel is going to go a long way as well so looking forward to tapping into him i haven’t been on my phone so I didn’t I didn’t get that notification but I’ll definitely tap in with him and we’ll probably get out there the same time so uh looking forward to continuing to build that connection two rookies coming in and you guys should expect big things any other questions for Jeremiah all right thank you thank you
