Suns Had The BEST DRAFT π
the Phoenix Suns went from laughing stock around the NBA to having one of the best drafts if not the best draft nights across the league starting off with the first round getting common Malawatch at 10 trading for Mark Williams on night one but they weren’t done brian Gregory was cooking in the kitchen trading up in the second round getting Rashier Fleming that slipped out of the first round with the 31st pick in the second round and then getting Kobe Brea an absolute sharp shooting wing from Kentucky one of the best shooters in the draft maybe the best behind Keniple at the 41st pick the Suns did a lot of maneuvering and are in a lot better of position than they were just a couple of days ago do you think they had the best draft do you think it was the Spurs you think it was the Mavs the Hornets or another wild card drop a comment leave a like and follow along with our draft coverage right here on PHNX Suns

Hope all the folks who said our GM will suck because of an interview watched tonight and are satisfied. Matter of fact find a new team, we dont need negative impulsive fans like that.
They kinda still areβ¦ even now. We have 4 starting calibre SGβs
Good draft
I think they killed it! Gonna take some years for these kids to develop. But, throw a few solid vets in the mix, maybe get CP3 back or even Russ, Suns very well could make the playoffs this year. A step in the right direction. All three picks are sick wit it!
Suns fans, you guys have no hope of competing for the playoffs. Dont let these liars gaslight you.
Absolutely nailed it
I heard their owner is a RACIST. I think a company takeover is in place
No point guard?!
Not really a fan of the Mark Williams trade, but the Sunβs draft was among the best.
best draft only matters if these rooks churn in some wins….
Theyβll just trade him away in 2-3 yrsπ!π€πΎ
Every team had "the best draft" until the ball hits the floor when the season starts… Then and only then can you say who had the best draft.
The Suns definitely cooked but wtf is going on in New Orleans?!?!
The Mavs had the best draft they have a really solid team and got the best player.
Suns Thank G-d the Suns get younger scores to fill the Gap left by Durant. Dammmmn Good Draft.
Still probably a play in team….
But much more fun to watch…
Suns killed it, I love it Kevin Durant for these Kids I Love this Draft they did fyi, better than james jones would just saying.
I think spurs killed it in the draft and Mavs get an auto A for drafting Flagg but suns had a top 5ish draft imo
W Draft πΎ
Yeah but they still have Bradley Beal on their team .. the best kind of Vet to have around the rookies π
They hv nothing. No star. Booker gets owned by the actual stars in the playoffs. Rockets way better
Best draft? Lol stop
this was a deep draft!
Yeah I don't think so. Cooper went to Mavs so they had the best draft
Im a suns fan, but i do think the spurs did really good
Minnesota Timberwolves π―
I will never miss James Jones drafting for the Phoenix Suns ever again. Not that I missed him to begin with. I have wanted him to get fired ever since he passed on Tyrese halliburton. Literally 3 seconds after he drafted sticks, I was calling for his job.
Now, I feel like we are about to enter a golden age in the valley of the Sun. Think about it, the Cardinals for the first time in 120 f**** years are being run like a serious NFL franchise. This year. I predict them to go 12 and 5 and make the playoffs. The Diamondbacks are almost always a decent team, they've suffered a lot of injuries this year, but the team went to the world series 2 years ago, and they were looking good until they lost some of their best players. We lost our hockey team all together, at least we got to keep the name and logo, so if we do enter a golden age and we can manage to stay blue in this state, maybe we can get incomes high enough to get our fourth team back. Back. But the Phoenix Suns have been our team forever, I was born the same year they were.
My first real love is probably the Phoenix Suns even before girls. And I started liking girls at a pretty early age.
I remember Paul westfall, Alvin Adams, Walter Davis, my daughter was a Barclay fan, he was her favorite player back in 93, she was a toddler and she watched basketball with me. She ended up playing like Charles Barkley too. Steve Nash was amazing, one of the best pure shooters I've ever seen.
There was an email chain when I was working at the University of Phoenix where people were debating who the greatest NBA player was, was it Jordan, was it Kobe Bryant, was it LeBron? James. And I was getting tired of all the little emails coming into my computer when I was trying to work. So I responded to all of them, the best pure shooter I've ever seen is Steve Nash. I actually heard somebody scream whaaaaaaaaaat?
Suns fan for the wind there.
They technically may have saved my life 5 years ago. In a few weeks, it will be exactly 5 years since I got covid and a week later ended up on a ventilator for 16 days with a 1% chance of survival. The Phoenix Suns were absolutely horrible that year. They would win some games and they would lose some games, they were the last team to enter during the pandemic into the bubble. They had to win every game in order to have a chance at advancing to the playoffs. And then I got put on a ventilator.
It didn't seem like 16 days to me, it felt like a dream, I was fighting John wick to survive, I had just watched two of the three movies, so they were fresh in my mind. And then when I woke up, I was barely alive.
And then I remembered that the MBA was doing the bubble. I could barely move, but I got the nurses to find the games for me and let me know when they were going to be played and to make sure that I was awake so I could watch them. Even though I wasn't on a ventilator and I was sleeping like 18 to 20 hours a day. Just trying to recover.
Just 3 weeks earlier, I slept 3 hours a night, I slept 3 hours a night from the time I was a kid until I got covid. It's one of the reasons I was able to accomplish as much in my life as I have. It's a lot easier to accomplish things when you don't have to sleep much. Well that certainly changed after covid.
So I'm staying awake to try and see the games. They would come in to draw blood or something, but the nurses were awesome about making sure that I knew when the games were on, that the TV was on and it was loud enough for me to see. I had a private room so wasn't going to disturb anyone else. And I got to watch all of the games. I got to watch that Booker shot where he fell backwards and slid on the floor. It was keeping me focused on staying awake, stay alert to watch the games and having a goal to reach for.
It was several weeks after I woke up before I was able to stand for the first time. A few days after that I started taking baby steps. Thanks to an amazing nurse that looked like Daniel Craig, who would latch me to his body so that I could take baby steps safely. I know how lucky I am to even be alive. But over the last 2 years I felt like I missed my opportunity to see the suns win a championship. I am thankful for KD, I absolutely love Devin Booker, but I'm heartbroken that we didn't capitalize on our window. They kept me going as I've struggled to recover and then the floor fell out from underneath us all.
This draft has restored my faith and I feel like they are on par and on track to have a good run again because they have leadership in the front office. Now if we could just dupe somebody into taking Bradley Beal, that's the last piece. We need to find a point guard, an actual legitimate point guard. But all the rest of the pieces are in place right now. It's probably going to be at least two more years before we're good because that albatross named BB is not going to be taken off of our neck. For those of you don't know, that's rhyme of the ancient Mariner. Anyway, sorry for the long story, I'm just excited, there's got to be more to our city than failure.
As a lakers fan I have no bias the suns had the best daft .
SPURS COOKED EVEN HARDER π₯
YouTube, please keep these suns content out my algorithm π
The sun's are still a joke haha will be fighting for the 10 seed
that maluach dude a fucking trash…i don't get hype about him
Compared to where they were at what they've always done in the past ,yes this was a very good draft for the suns.
To be fair, almost every team will get hyped and feel that way about their selections. Obviously the mavs getting the number one pick an best overall player they can say they had the best draft. The spurs had a very good draft and have and always will be one of the elite organizations to emulate for drafting and building a contender.
Even the lakers got a steal in thiero.
But the suns are maybe for the first time ever building a young, talented, athletic team with a defense first mentality.
They are trying to fix past mistakes, build a new culture and a deep team with guys that will hustle and compete on both ends. They now have a very big, tough, defensive frontline and a few perimeter defenders that will get after it.
They aren't ready yet to chase a title and still have several moves that need to be made to get under the second apron, but i think in several seasons they will be a force in the west.
I think the Center out of Duke is overrated. He has the size, but I think Lacks the skill.
As much as I hate the decision we did in getting KD in exchange for our future, it kinda is a blessing in disguise because it taught us that super teams dont mean anything . What works are a deep bench of effective complimentary players for your franchise superstar, and this 2025 draft seems to be the hope the Suns desperateky need. The SUNS are back!
Suns killed it let Our New GM Brian Cook
Spurs
I believe the spurs cooked number 1 suns 2 and pelicans and the hawks is interchangeable
They had all that talent last year and didn't even make the playoffs so these draft picks won't make a difference
Aside from trading for the often-injured Mark Bryant, the Suns did a good job.
Hell no they didnt,bc they still gave up a #1 pick next yrππ
It really kind started the healing process early. They got a lot of luck too though
A buncha teams had good drafts . But Suns got something they needed the most, options and flexibility. Remember this team was supposed to be doomed for 2 yrs till Beal and KD contracts ran out then they'd start rebuilding. This cuts gives hope to move Beal and the fact that Suns can be good with a move the summer Beal leaves
The pelicans was cooking and Brooklyn is turning into an Euro team Toronto playing the switch game the Jazz will have AJ next year withAce so now letβs see what my Knicks gone do smh
Hey VB#1, donβt you have any barbers that sponsor your show? And remember no caps on heads indoors.
Mark Williams yes but there 1st round pick has bust written all over him
Sund
How can you rate an incoming player to the NBA as the best or second best shooter? Isnβt that a bit a pontificating on your part?
Are you too young to shave?
This is how you build a team. Glad to see the NBA moving on from the super team era. Now if they could just get up a petition to make LeBron and Durant retire everyone can FINALLY completely move on.
