shooter like Kevin Durant who’s obviously so much more than that but he’s a bucket getter when you need it most you know that better than anyone yeah well we all It’s pretty everybody knows that um but look if you wanted to critique Houston it was they couldn’t score in the half court they just got one of the best to ever score in the half court in Kevin Durant and it’s I I just saw that the second shortest odds in the league is that what that said to to win the championship is that what said i But but you know what um look I mean the guy he he we know what he does i think what he also will do for the organization is with which has a lot of youth when you when Kevant showed up in Golden State you don’t really know you know how great he is but you didn’t know what he does behind the scenes his work ethic his preparation and that’s what I was talking about those second shortest odds unbelievable now now the Rockets just sped up their timeline right they just went from a team that was up and coming and young to now they got expectations on him to not lose in the first second round to go to the West Conference finals and Kevin Durant has shown he still has a lot of good points per game you see what he brings to the table he’s instant offense for a team that was lacking and struggling in offense he provides that he elevates them to championship status this they got a ecstatic you is ecstathetic you can guess how I know those things i’m trying to tell you they love it they are incredibly happy about it that’s the one point the other point is this you’re Miami heat and you’re bidding you got Bam out of B and Tyler Hero how do you not give up and and and Smith and these guys for Kevin Duran those guys wanted Kevin Duran yes they did i know they wanted but I’m saying you got to give up some of those pieces because a hot hero and Bam if you had Kevin Durant with them think about how your chances are Miami and East to this may sound country and foreign to y but this is the Aown Flavor right hey man say man Kevin Durant is on the way to man we talk about my bun up to getting the trill burgers ready th pulling out the sl with the super riping truck with national TV it comes across your feed that Kevin Duran is a rocket and you’re thinking what i’m ecstatic i’m ecstatic for the Houston Rockets i’m ecstatic for him because I think he’s back in the championship equation we keep forgetting that because of the lack of success that the Phoenix Sonsed and he has enjoyed over the last several years it is one of the greatest players who have ever played the game he’s instant offense and in his 30s just like he did in his 20s still averaging 27 a game still shooting over 50% from the field still shooting nearly 40% from three point range nearly 90% from the freethrow line he is instant offense he’s 7 feet with a 76 wing span with ball handling skills a mid-range game a three-po shot he can finish in the open court he can do it all and he’s a bonified number one option so any team would love to have that but if you’re the Houston Rocket you especially desperate for that because you know that you’re exceptionally well coached you know that you have a lot of good players you have a young star in Thompson who can do some things you got a champion in Fred Van Vleet but what you were lacking was that bonified number one scoring option that when all things fell apart you can hand them the ball and say “Take me there.” Kevin Duran is that kind of player and the Houston Rockets know it and that’s why they gave up a Jayen Green a Dylan Brooks uh capture the number the number 10 overall pick along with five second round picks because this brother is worth it it’s that simple yeah and honestly the odds makers agree because they have it’s a perfect fit i think when you looked at the Houston Rockets this year number two seed in the West but I don’t think anybody really viewed them as the top threat uh to the Oklahoma City Thunder i think there was a significant gap there and the main reason we didn’t view the Rockets that way they didn’t have an answer in close games they didn’t have that guy that could basically beat any type of defense that’s in front of them a consistent efficient alpha at the top of the food chain on their roster offensively they sort of did it by Peacal well they’ve checked that box now Kevin Durant can still do that incredible run of efficiency he’s had now throughout his career you put him with a great defense an elite coach i think the Houston Rockets now have absolutely helped elevate
