Bulls FORCED into IMPOSSIBLE decision…
the Chicago Bulls are forced into an impossible decision while this year’s offseason is focused on retaining restricted free agent Josh Giddy the Chicago Bulls have their back against the wall as they have a choice to make between retaining one of their two guards hello my name is Isa Jackson Jr thank you guys so much for tuning in to Bulls Digest we got to get into the news and notes on the report that the Chicago Bulls are urged to make an impossible decision of course between Kobe White and I do Sumu and if they are looking to move on between one or the other however 67.5% of you guys are not subscribed 32.5% of you guys are we appreciate you guys on both sides of the field and look it is the second day of summer it feels great outside it’s looking peaceful and positive out there and one thing that is peaceful and positive is hitting that subscribe button liking and sharing and just a huge thanks for subscribing and also showing some love to Bulls Digest bulls urged to make hard decision regarding Kobe White and I do Sumu of course coming from Adam Taylor himself you got to give some love there and I do think this is something that we’ve talked about before and something that we didn’t stress on too hard because we also had Lonzo Ball into the picture as well lonzo Ball was a trade friendly contract and of course him dealing with a whole lot of injuries as well a lot of injuries under his belt you’re you would it would be more likely for the Chicago Bulls to move on for someone like Alonzo Ball but now we’re seeing IU his contract is going to be up he’s looking for a contract extension just like Kobe White is uh Kobe White of course looking for a whole lot more money and if he doesn’t get that contract extension if he does go ahead and test off his uh value in the open market oh yeah he’s going to be looking for a huge payday and possibly too much too much for the Chicago Bulls to uh offer him up there so we we are looking at a whole lot of scenarios here in this situation and obviously just looking at it right here the Chicago Bulls have somewhat of a roster crunch on the horizon while the front office will undoubtedly be focused on signing Josh Giddy to a contract extension this summer they must also make decisions on the futures of Kobe White and Iodumu uh both White and Dosumu are entering the final year of their respective deals it wouldn’t be financially prudent for the Bulls to offer extensions to both guards during a recent discussion on the Chicago lead Casey Johnson shared his thoughts on the Bulls upcoming roster decisions so he goes on and says I quote “From my seat they’ve got uh they’ve got to try to look to trade either IO or Kobe.” Johnson said “I think it’ll be very hard to resign both of them after next year when they both hit unrestricted free agency you’ve got to get out in front of things like that and you’ve got to make these hard decisions because you’re not going to be resigning Josh Giddy this summer I do and Kobe White after next summer as well i just don’t see that and yeah we talked about Kobe White at least going out for something more of $140 million kobe White is a $100 million man like that that is something that cannot be denied you know Kobe White is going to get his money and with the Chicago Bulls you’re going to get a little bit under that if you go out and try to uh try to go out and sign this contract extension with the Chicago Bulls if you go out and test your value out on the open market if you wait it out I think you can get a really really nice deal if you’re Kobe White elsewhere and of course it’s also how you perform this season as well but on top of that the Chicago Bulls could trade you before this could even happen as well but of course you’re on a contract expire you’re on a contract expiring year so teams could look at that you know give you a little side eye however if they are confident that you could resign with them could resign with the team they’re going to be looking to give you that money of course they’re going to be looking to trade you trade for you and get something for you as well you know just playing that Kobe White role if Kobe White does uh look to go that route uh as well if we’re looking into the future to our crystal ball White has arguably been the Bulls player in recent years however Dosuno has some untapped potential that could interest the coaching staff in moving forward nevertheless a decision could be made in the coming months otherwise the Bulls risk losing one of their guards for nothing next summer and that’s the last thing you want if you have a feeling that Kobe White isn’t going to sign the contract extension you know he’s going to test out his value out in the open market it’s tough it’s it’s awful you definitely want to see know what Kobe White is going to look like in that trade market in more ways than one see if he can get some value from the man of course I do sumu the untapped potential as he just mentioned there he can score you know you get that catch and shoot from Iodumu and he’s fun to watch you know and of course he plays defense you know the defense is exciting on many levels as well you know Kobe White is night and day at least on the defensive side at least with IO you know there’s there’s a little bit of comfortability there playing on the defensive side so that is definitely one thing to look at as well of course on the flip side as we just mentioned Bulls also have a Lonzo Ball decision to make chicago gave Lonzo Ball a 2-year $20 million contract extension last season the second year is a team option however the Bulls could look to flip Lonzo Ball in a potential trade should there be an interest in him and even with that uh we’ve seen and read about the Dallas Mavericks looking to be interested in in Lonzo Ball of course they’re interested in Drew Holiday but Lonzo Ball of course comes with a cheaper price tag and if healthy you know can contribute to your team so definitely will be something uh the Dallas Mavericks could be looking into as well the athletics uh Javon Bruha recently breached the idea of the Los Angeles Lakers bringing ball back to his hometown his comments of course came on his podcast where his response to a a question regarding a potential ball return to Los Angeles i do think he says I do i think they would be it’s just a matter of what his price is and you have to factor in his health and the history there you can’t even pencil him for 60 games ball has played 35 games this past season he averaged 7.6 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assist shooting on 36% uh from the field and 34% from deep of course and we talked about Lonzo Ball and of course what he can contri what he can contribute on the floor it’s just a matter of keeping you on the floor as well you know that’s the fun part about this you’re getting some fun basketball from Kobe White you know Kobe White can can be efficient you know it’s is still night and day with the man you know you are getting some great basketball uh uh great basketball highlights from Kobe White shooting eight of 13 going out there going out and shooting 15 for 21 when need awesome you’re getting some great work from Kobe White 50point games you know went on a string of 30 plusers and then of course the inconsistency arrives where you start seeing the one for 12s you know the five for 15s you know which it it starts to hurt more than helps the team in in a couple of occasions or in IO’s cases and sometimes he just goes straight silent on the offensive side you know you’re not getting a lot from him or at least more than what you want him to contribute and that’s just coming you know as he’s going to grow as a player you know that opportunities are going to come as well especially with how this team is going to uh fare once it’s all said and done once a decision is officially made but you have to jump on this quick if you wait on it you are definitely going to be without a guard for absolutely nothing for just absolutely nothing you have to make a move here whether you are going to resign both guards whether you’re going to open up that waK and give these guys what they’re worth which I highly doubt because we talked about before Kobe White is going to be looking to make big money huge money here you know if he’s looking to test his value out in the open market now depending on how he starts off the season it’s going to say a whole lot you know it’s going to definitely say a whole lot about his game now Kobe White there could be a loyalty factor in this maybe he could uh sign a contract extension for the Chiefskis to stay in the Chicago Bulls uniform but that’s I highly doubt that when you’re going into year 20 year 26 your age 26 you know when you’re going through you’re playing some great basketball and any team is going to go out there and put a solid price tag on you you know I do think that is going to be tough but like as I said before the Chicago Bulls shouldn’t just do this for nothing you know you shouldn’t just uh go give away your guys or let them walk just for nothing if there’s an inkling that either or either guy isn’t going to resign with the team or you know that you’re going to resign one and one guy has some great value that you can get out of because let’s be honest both guys have some solid trade value you can get some great pieces for Iodumu and uh Kobe White you know respectively now it’s just a matter of number one what you’re going to get what are you valuing in what what position are you valuing it to bring in and help you know for that situation and of course uh what is going to be the outcome of it of course is Billy how is Billy Donovan going to maneuver after this uh trade is said and done and what and I just can’t wait to see what this team is going to look like you know halfway through this season because of course Boovich is on the trade block we’re talking about Lonzo Ball being on the trade block josh Giddy hopefully he comes back to the Chicago Bulls you know him being a restricted free agent i definitely think it’s the case but you know now we’re throwing in Kobe White I sumu you know this I’m really really fascinated to see what the Chicago Bulls look like when it’s all said and done at least come halfway through the season and just looking at the stats here Kobe White last season 20 points per game three rebounds four assists just an absolute monster 0.9 steals 0.2 blocks per game 2.4 turnovers 45% from the field 37% from three-point range 25 years old as I mentioned look 27 is your prime is your uh prime year then Kobe White is going to be looking to get a bag here that’s why I’m really really I I’m I’m really really skeptical you know about Kobe White you know coming back in a Chicago Bulls jersey for the 2027 2028 year yeah I’m looking back looking deep into the future here because this season is going to say it all the way he starts this season how the Chicago Bulls maneuver around with him is he going to be on the trade block right away are we going to start hearing all the rumors right early on once the season begins you know with Kobe White and how are the Chicago Bulls going to kick off this season are they going to be rocking and rolling how is I there’s just so many factors into this that I really really love to see when it’s all said and done kobe White I do think plays a key role with the Chicago Bulls him and Josh Giddy are a one-two punch i would love to see them pretty much whisk off away in the sunset as Chicago Bulls veterans however with Io Dou of course with his untapped potential as well with a whole lot going on i’m g stop saying untapped potential with uh him and what he can contribute to the team 12 points per game three rebounds four assists and it’s just been a star from what he’s seen so far 6’5 25 years old 49 shooting 49% from the field 32% from three-point range and as I said before he plays defense you know the the defense is there and you know the hustle is there he’s the guy getting on the ground you know he’s the guy that’s pretty much running down low trying to pickpocket and swat uh swat the ball out of the hands of these centers and power fors down low before they go up you know you’re seeing IU doing the dirty work you know all the defensive side and so that brings a whole lot of fun to the game as well then of course you’re looking at Lonzo Ball 7.6 points per game 3.4 rebounds 3.3 assists lonzo Ball I definitely think is one of the guys that are going to be uh moving on that the Chicago Bulls are going to be moving on from this season like we talked about the trade friendly contract but even then we haven’t seen too much Lonzo Ball in a Bulls jersey due to the injuries that he sustained and I think just a new change of scenery just a fresh start somewhere else for Lonzo Ball I think definitely think would be the best move for him he can still contribute to a team he’s still putting up solid numbers off the bench why wouldn’t the team want to go for somebody like Alonzo Ball i definitely think starting fresh somewhere else would be the go-to for Lonzo but right now what do you think should be the best move for the Chicago Bulls are you optimistic that they are going to resign and retain both Kobe White and I sumo or do you think just having one would be best for the Chicago Bulls and seeing what value you can get for other let me know your thoughts and comments in the comments section below thank you guys so much for tuning in and I’ll see you guys next

Ayo is a two way player, the bulls probably won’t give him an extension
Trade White & Vucevic for Jonathan Kuming & Moses Moody. Resign Giddey & play Ayo at 2 then we play Buzelis, Kuminga, Smith that's a solid young core
Keep Coby and Ayo
Trade up to the number 4 draft Ace Bailey. Trade Coby White for a young defensive center. Not sure what to do with Vuch yet
Move on from Ayo, Coby, Alonzo, Josh, and Vuc. Get picks for next year beyond. Then next summer get rid of management. This collection of talent not working. Can't trust AK to make picks post collapse. Time to go Oklahoma City method.
Who still watches the NBA, and even worse, who watches this pathetic franchise?
Trade Coby Vuc and Lonzo. Take on some bad contracts for extra capital trade up for Bailey AND Maluach with those new picks
Get riddah Punk-Ass P. Williams & Vuc. Keep Ayo & Coby. Ayo yo best defender & versatile guard & Coby yo best offensive weapon. Why let em go for some might be good draft pick like Ace Bailey. If he not a fo sho generational talent we should pass. We already been dere done dat with P. Williams timid 🐑 ass.
