how do the Celtics keep getting away with this Uh yeah Drew Holiday has been traded for Anthony Simon So look all respect to multi-time champion Drew Holiday but he had probably the worst year of his career this year And sneakily he had become one of the worst contracts in the NBA So yeah the Celtics had to find a way to dump his salary cuz this move alone saved them like 40 M But here’s what’s crazy I thought they were going to have to like attach a pick to move his contract They got two picks and the better player Anthony Simons can a hoot bro And again he’s an expiring contract So I don’t even know if the Celtics are looking at this like a piece for the future And I actually really like this Blazers team They were a playoff caliber team the second half of the year and I think they’ll make the playoffs next year And I do think they had to trade Simons because Shaden Sharp is their future star at the two But 35 million a year for three more years of a 35year-old Drew Holiday I mean what are you doing I just don’t really get it man What I will say is I don’t think either of these teams are done making trades this

I would push back on Simons being the better player. At this point I think having him on the court over holiday just in and of itself might be a negative.
