and I know I had absolutely nothing to do with it but I tell you what this is about as good of a lowrisk move as you can pull off in regards to the services of Isaac Aora what that contract can get you back listen you’re actually saving yourself about a million dollars by making this move not only do you This is a multiaceted thing one this to me could possibly I don’t know i I really don’t want to say that it’s going to make the decision in regards to Ty Jerome it is very very possible that it can i know the Cavaliers they’re essentially trading money here right you’re dropping $1 million off in terms of Isaac Aoro for Alonzo Ball but does that mean you cannot bring Tai Jerome back i don’t think so i don’t think that’s what this necessarily means what I do think it means though is that the Cavaliers back court just became that much more versatile i mean you guys know like in that video that I dropped for Lonzo uh you know about a week or two ago I had mentioned that the price if the price was solely just Isaac Coro and maybe a first or second round pick or so then yeah I I don’t know but in regards to the tie of it all one would think that the Cavaliers made this trade with the idea of getting like size playmaking and uh def defense out of that back court and you’re getting some shooting too because Lonzo is not a terrible three-point shot he can bring a lot of these things to the table all in a concise package and on a relatively short uh contract right you can always pivot if you need to but man this this makes me happy this makes me happy um biggest fan of Aoro that you’ll find out there maybe not the biggest but I am a huge fan of Aoro but I think it was becoming increasingly clear that you are getting next to nothing from him offensively and you are getting in this deal theoretically theoretically you are getting a playmaker somebody who can make his teammates better you’re getting very very good uh perimeter defense out there and I know we may not think of Lonzo as this lock down defender especially after these injuries but he’s still really really good on that end out on the perimeter and I know it may not have looked like that over in Chicago because they asked him to do a lot more than we would the Cavaliers are likely to ask him to do but in your in terms of pure defense out on the perimeter somebody you can throw a big long body out on to shut the water off of a perimeter assignment lonzo is pretty good in in that regard we know Isaac Isaac does his thing out there and I think sometimes even I myself might overrate his defensive capabilities but if you just look at it from a pure analytical standpoint Lonzo Ball actually graded in the 91st percentile in terms of perimeter isolation defense his offball defense was pretty solid 69th percentile pickpocket up there with the best of them you know Ty Jerome brought a lot of that to the table this year uh Lonzo was in the 90th percentile in regards to that and passing lane defense 89th percentile that just speaks volumes about how he can he can change the game he can that’s that’s defensive playmaking right there he can make a lot of things happen in the back court and the Cavaliers they are uniquely structured to cover up for some of his deficiencies they are uniquely structured to be able to manage his minutes in a way that Chicago and New Orleans and Los Angeles was not so these injuries yes it is a huge risk that you are taking in regards to the injury of it all because Lonzo essentially missed two seasons worth of basketball prior to returning to the court this year and then he missed time on top of that this year lonzo was Lonzo has missed quite a bit of basketball that I say all that to say to put that he only played 35 games this season he missed the 2022 23 season he missed the 2023 24 season but he did return to the court this year after subsequent surgeries right and entering his age 28 season that is that is what we are getting out of Lonzo he fits along the timeline of trying to construct a title contender he adds length to that back court he adds defensive firepower to that back court he adds playmaking to that back court he adds perimeter shooting to that back court i love this i get it you’re taking a huge chance but guys like for for all the people out there sitting here bitching about how oh Isaac doesn’t bring anything to the table isaac is not a playoff rotational lock at the be you know to begin with why not go ahead and take the shot on a guy who still has a lot of upside and the the Cavaliers are a team that is built to manage him so this makes a ton of sense to me like I I hate to see Isaac Auroro go still a huge fan hopefully Chicago if they don’t reroute him or if they don’t uh end up just waving him or figuring out something else or sending him somewhere else hopefully they give him some time to further hone the skills that he needs to develop because I still think Isaac still has some upside himself but clearly the Cavaliers they cannot afford to wait on guys to sit here and develop in real time like on the back end of the rotation yes you want to you’re that’s a balancing act you’re attempting to do that right you are attempting to leverage development internally with win now mentality and the Cavaliers with the East being what it is right now why not take a move like this this is about as lowrisk highreward as it gets boom or bust as they say right well entering the uh 2025 NBA draft what was I saying man we need to be able to address two positions the guard group and the center we did not get a center in that draft but one of the things that we did get was a potential replacement for Sam Merrill now what this could potentially do I I’m a little I’m a little confused on what this means for the potential of Ty Jerome but you you got Proctor as well so I don’t know does this signal that you’re completely ready to move on from both Mel and Jerome does it mean that you’re you’re willing to bring Merryill back and let Proctor develop and you have your ready-made point guard in Lonzo Ball and in an option in Craig Porter Jr should that not work out i don’t know there are a lot of different directions they can go with this and you got up off of Isaac Coral’s contract and you’re saving yourself a million dollars in the process but this is about as good as it gets in terms of the return for Isaac as you could expect like yeah there were some other players on that Chicago roster where you’re thinking okay maybe Jaylen Smith makes sense maybe you look at somebody like that as a potential um replacement uh you know in the in the front court if you’re moving Isaac Aoro but I I love it man i love it i I I I think that you at the very least at the very least because I was always talking about even if you brought back Tai you needed at least one more additional ball handler because you one thing that you did not want to do is go into next season with Craig Porter Jr as your only option at point i love the potential that Craig Porter Jr has i just don’t think that he is all the way there yet to be given the full keys to run that second unit i just I would not have trusted Cleveland if they went that route you have to be able to you have to be able to facilitate things in a steady manner and not just lump the whole responsibility on them so to me you have a couple of different routes you can take here you’ve essentially swapped the salaries so you can bring Tai Jerome back and you also have that additional size that Tai is at six at 6’5 lonzo is not a small dude himself lonzo is measured right now at 66 i mean he’s got the length out there this This just makes too much sense so your back court you could potentially be looking at a back court of Darius Garland Donovan Mitchell Ty Jerome Lonzo Ball Craig Porter Jr how good does that sound again I I don’t want to I don’t want to speak things into you know I I’m just I’m speculating obviously I’m just speculating at this point in time but I think this could signal potentially a couple of different moves can now be made right if you’re thinking that Darius Garland is going to be moved because we acquire Lonzo Ball you’ve lost the plot you You don’t move Isaac a You don’t acquire Lonzo Ball and think “Oh yeah the DG is good to go now we can we can ship him off.” That’s not how things work um Darius Garland is if you’re going to move Darius you’re you’re looking at completely different archetype to get but what you can say now is that if you do move Darius Garland in a subsequent move down the future you do potentially have a um you do potentially have a readymade option that can playmake and facilitate that can take up some of those playmaking duties like and what we were already thinking is if you move Darius Garland you’re going to have to get like a highle wing back you’re going to have to get a serviceable playmaker back in that trade but I don’t think this move even even comes close to signifying that Darius Garland is on the move this is specifically just getting value out of Isaac and addressing a positional need and one of the things that you needed to do was go out there and acquire a ball handler and Lonzo Ball regardless if you think he can stay healthy or not this is a great risk to take again when in terms of the pure analytical side of things 91st percentile in perimeter isolation defense 89th and 90th in pickpocket rating and passing lane defense in terms of the playmaking uh Bball index grades him in the 94th percentile in passing versatility that’s 36th out of 564 players in passing talent he rated in the 76th percentile and this is again a limited play from just last season but this just makes too much sense man i love it and you guys know I’ve been all over this um and this surely had nothing to do with me but I’m glad that Kobe Alman and company you know kind of see things sim in a similar fashion where they needed to go out there after watching that Indiana series and watching Cleveland struggle to deal with that press without another solid ball handler with Darius Garland missing time in that series and clearly being hampered they watched Ty Jerome struggle the only real ball handler that you could trust in that series was Donovan Mitchell and I do think a lot of people believe that Craig Pter Jr should have been given more run in that series but even with Craig like you wanted Craig is for as big as he plays Craig is still undersized 6-1 this really kills multiple birds with one stone you get size in your back court you get playmaking you get defensive versatility you get positional versatility and you move up off of Isaac Coral’s contract so this is a lot of things this is a lot of things that you are acquiring potentially in Lonzo Ball but it to me it is a risk worth taking and yeah we can sit here all the long day and talk about how many games Lonzo has missed but again I ask you just think about this logically cleveland they offer things they offer a very unique structure here in terms of that back court where they can afford Lonzo the ability to not have to overexert himself yes a lot of the injuries that he has suffered you can’t necessarily plan for they’re just it happens but at the end of the day and I know a lot of people hate when I say that but at the end of the day it’s a risk worth taking because Isaac was never going to be a playoff lock now some of y’all out there was telling me and I’m sorry I was going to toot my own horn just a little bit just a little bit some of y’all was telling me I was crazy for thinking this this deal should be even in the equation or that Lonzo um that Lonzo would not have been worth training for and to that I say give him a chance number one number two we we good man we good this is This is nice i just think that for Isaac this is about as good of a return as you can expect to get there you’re saving salary $1 million or so it gives you a lot of different options from a positional standpoint like I I just love this i I just love this so much there’s not much else without beating a dead horse that I can say about it i hope you guys are excited as as excited as I am but I could not not get on this live stream after watching this happen cuz I’m sitting here i’m having discussions with people like “Hey we we might be losing Ty Jerome or we might be losing Sam Merryill.” And in in one scenario in the most likely scenario prior to this happening I was thinking okay we’re going to get Ty Jerome back but we’re probably going to lose Samoa which I was okay with because one you’re likely to get uh to get Tyrese Proctor to you know ease himself into that role he may not have been able to replicate exactly what Sam brought to the table from day one but I think that he would have developed into that over the course of this year and beyond and then you would have likely brought in a veteran on a minimum to try and fill some of that role tyson uh you know Jaylen Tyson would have been given some run there and you got some other options on your bench that you could potentially look at but no way no shape or form in my mind did I expect this to actually go through this morning it was just something on the radar so now if you are Cleveland you have addressed your need for a backup ball handler if if I’m Cleveland right now and I know this is a huge risk from an injury standpoint what I’m doing I’m calling Larry Nch Jr up right now and I’m saying “Bro we have a title contender here the East is wide the open go out and sign that veteran minimum Larry come back to Cleveland you are versatile you can offer spacing you can offer rebounding go out there and get Larry Nes Jr at this point somebody like that i love it and you’re and you’ve had a solid off seasonason at that point i I don’t think that you had to you did not have to enter this off seasonason after watching what happened to Boston and Tatum and them potentially taking a gap year and watching what’s going on with Indiana and Tyresese Hallebertton and watching some of the other moves that have been made in the Eastern Conference there are some teams that can still be a threat orlando is right up there after what they’ve done atlanta may take a leap up there but I don’t consider them a contender as of right now um that’s really it uh Milwaukee they’re in the state of flux right now there’s nobody else in the Eastern Conference that I feel can beat Cleveland in a seven game series fully healthy that’s how I feel so you you entered this off season yeah you could have made the big change but a lot of times what ends up pushing teams over the top is these small little moves these small marginal moves at times it doesn’t always have to be a big move and this one this is a unique one right because not only do you you address a positional need but you have dropped some salary too you’re taking a risk huge risk but but when you really look at the grand scheme of things it is a risk worth taking because Isaac was by far you know anything from a a playoff rotational lock and you already entered i had already as big as of an Aquaro fan as I was still am you entered this off season probably asking yourself the same thing as I did or trying to talk yourself into the same reality as I did and that is that you are likely to lose one of Dean Wade or Isaac AO you’re probably not going to end up losing both or uh looking to move up off of both and they still could make no mistake Dean Way could still be on the move too but I always thought that you probably were going to return next season with at least one of those guys on the roster and the one that uh the one that could actually probably get you more in terms of value was likely to be Isaac Aoro because he is still younger than he’s still younger than Dean Wade there’s still some type of potential and the salary matching in terms of like impact players he was always going to be the one that could potentially bring you back more dean Wade just sounded like the one that might have been easier to trade because of his contract so this makes a ton of sense this makes a ton of sense if I’m looking at the rotation as currently constructed and this is assuming nothing this is assuming nothing i’m just talking about the guys that we have on the roster right now darius Garland and you know take the health equation out of it darius Garland Donovan Mitchell DeAndre Hunter because I do believe DeAndre should be starting next season you have to assume that Evan Moley and Jared Allen at this point probably return so you got your starting five right there you got Max Stress off the bench Jaylen Tyson as and Lonzo Ball as far as I’m concerned that is a very solid eightman rotation you get those final one to two pieces in the rotation whether that be Ty Jerome if he does return uh or they they say “Fuck it we’re going to see what Tyrese Proctor has and you have a good rotation dean Wade probably still around probably can give you some minutes but do not rely on him to be a backup 45 and then you acquire some bet minimums hopefully Larry Nes Jr is right up there if you get Larry Nes Jr as your backup 45 we are cooking we are cooking kobia Alman already cooking now he has redeemed himself from that draft because listen I was really really really pissed that we did not get a backup five and I get it the whole draft and stash thing from a roster spot standpoint there are a ton of people saying “Oh we don’t have the roster spots we don’t have the capital we don’t have the two-way spots available.” I was ready to say a punt on one of the two ways that we had for a backup center and putting him on a 2-way is you know if we could have acquired a backup five and to develop i was not going to enter the season expecting said backup five to actually contribute this year but I wanted one in-house to develop over the next one to two to three years so yeah this this fills some needs and it also ends up uh like ending the chapter of Isaac sucks to see him go but I I feel good knowing the return that we got and so oh man this is this is just some good this this is a good feeling right now a a really good feeling i had so many people popping up in my mentions as soon as this happens oh man you spoke it into existence i’m I’m I’m stoked right now i am so stoked right now about what is occurring because I did not wake up feeling like this was going to be the case like I was expecting free agency to roll around and we get some dis some news on Ty Jerome and Sam Merrill but this appears to be a one for one i don’t think that there’s going to be anything else out there um in terms of what is going to be added to this but if it is a onetoone swap I I love it man like you didn’t have to add any additional draft capital to it and you guys can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m just going off of what I’m seeing on the timeline right now um so if it is truly just a one for one swap I think you have to feel really good about this because you did not have to rid yourself of any additional capital in terms of draft picks because what was being reported is that just to get up off of Isaac’s contract you were going to have to attach a second rounder or two just to be able to facilitate that type of move and we w we weren’t quite clear whether or not it was actually going to be a salary dumping move a salary shedding move or a move to actually acquire a contributor and this is a case right now where you have acquired a playoff level contributor and I do that that might sound sacrileg to some of you out there but I do believe as long as you can keep Lonzo ball upright and healthy and I think the Cavaliers are uniquely suited to do that i do believe that he is a playoff rotational lock again a lot of different things that are you know that hinge on some of the other decisions that they now have to make does this mean that Cleveland is going to let Ty Jerome go does it mean that they’re going to let Sam Merrell walk does it mean that Dan Gilbert is you know is going to scoff at the notion of paying Tai now that you have um now that you have Lonzo i don’t know these are all questions that are going to need to be sorted out but if anything you should feel really good about this acquisition because Isaac was not going to be somebody that uh that that was going to be counted on come the playoffs just not going to happen um so you should feel good about this at the end of the day from a purely a statistical standpoint Lonzo Ball averaged 7.6 points 3.4 rebounds 3.3 assist he didn’t shoot the b the ball terribly efficiently last year but I’m willing to forgive him for that because it was his first feray into basketball in over two years he shot 36.6% from the field including 34.4% from three-point distance but again some of the grades from an analytical standpoint paint a really good picture of him really high graded really highly as a playmaker just last year graded really highly in the perimeter defense area graded solidly in terms of the perimeter shot making but would you just look on at least theoretically speaking what he could offer you considering what the Cavaliers have on the roster already i love it drive and kick run that pick and roll we already know Cavaliers are a very pick and roll heavy team and and defend right knock down your shots if they put the ball in Lonzo’s hands I I would suffice to say I’d feel really really comfortable about about what he brings you to the brings to the table on a $10 million or so salary this is this is about as good as as you could hope for for the contract of Isaac in a return so I there’s not there’s not a lot to say i’m just I’m purely getting running off of emotion right now because I did not feel like this was going to actually happen but uh it it is good to know that Kobe Alman is not sleeping like a lot of people feel like he has been over the last couple of uh last couple of days or so with some of these other moves that teams are making but purely on paper this makes a ton of sense makes a ton of sense so now if you can acquire a backup five a guy that can soak up some you know 10 a solid 10 to 15 minutes come the playoffs from the f from the four or five you’re good you will you will have had a sufficient off season and yes you are taking a chance but what championship level team isn’t without some risk takingaking there’s always a little bit of luck involved with winning a title whether that be injury look whether that be a guy taking a leap whether that be taking a trade on a lowrisk highreward type of move like this there’s always some type of risk takingaking involved in terms of winning a title and if you believe if you work Cleveland and you believe this is your best shot to win a title and trust and believe this is the widest the East has been open since LeBron departed back during the summer of 2018 this right here is the whitest this East this this Eastern Conference has been for a long time if you believe this is your moment you attempt to do to to make those moves that you feel like are going to make you a better team does this preclude them from making a move involving a member of the core 4 i don’t think so but I don’t think that they’re they feel the need as presently constructed to move a piece of the core 4 just to move them like a lot of people out there feel like you you you have made a solid move now go out there and complement that with a backup center and some additional depth on the wing and you’re good you’re good so much of what moves the needle involves a a risk-taking element and I think this is this this is right up there with that this is a gamble but one that should pay off i I love it man i I I truly do i hope the Cavaliers are able to close this off seasonason strong i cannot wait to see some of the young talent that we have at summer league whether that be Tyrese Proctor or hopefully Khalifa if you since the Cavaliers had drafted and stashed him you know three years or so ago we haven’t been able to see him really at all because of some of the injuries that he has had the last one that kept them out of last year’s summer league was a wrist injury and subsequent surgery so hopefully they they have a plan in place there but I I’m really really high on what we have what we have right now i I truly do so let’s hop into the comments there’s a lot of them here i’m sorry if I can’t get to everybody nick says “This is a good trade bit for the love of all that is holy can we get a backup big?” That’s where I’m at if you acquire a backup five backup four five somebody you can still put minutes in both positions preferably you’re good larry N Jr is the top of my list get him to sign on the dotted line coach Tom says “Horrible move.” Coach Tom I uh I hope that your mind is changed the minute that Lonzo takes the court i truly do cj says “Let’s go.” No cap oo says “Let’s go Cavs.” I’m right there with you bro i’m right there with you derby Entertainment says “I like it but I don’t like it.” I don’t know how like Maybe you feel indifferent all I can say is ask yourself this question was Isaac Aurora a lock to play in the playoffs to me I equate that as the same as guy missing time right at this point in time nobody nobody’s going to care about the regular season for Cleveland in 2025 26 it’s all it’s going to be all about the playoffs we have seen all we need to see out of the regular season so if they can manage a manage Lonzo in such a way that he is healthy come the postseason that’s when the real fun begins parker says “Wow trade y’all.” Yeah with it i’m I’m looking at the potential here that Lonzo could add and I’ve been talking about this for weeks you guys know I like posted a video about it two weeks ago lonzo the literal title of the video was the Cavs should trade for Lonzo Ball that’s it isaac Aoro was the cost in said move aoro in the second rounder guess what they didn’t have to attach any draft capital i love it no capio says Zo was a Cav ammani Muse says “Low risk high reward right on you know right on schedule.” Yes right on schedule coach Tom says Lonzo has played in 21% in the last four seasons that that equates to 70 games again this is where that risk is involved but coach this right here this team is suited to make up for that and they are suited to manage him in ways that Chicago New Orleans and LA just frankly wasn’t we would be asking much much less out of him especially if Tyron returns coach Tom says “High risk.” Parker says “Never really seen a use for Isaac.” Who’s with me there’s a use for Isaac the use was theoretical though right perimeter defense perimeter shotmaking he has one of those down perimeter shotmaking is always going to be something that people are going to wonder like can Isaac Aoro do it at high enough volume for it to matter because if you really look at things Isaac actually did shoot from an efficiency standpoint he did shoot well this postseason 37.5% but the volume is always the issue with him just 1.8 attempts per game he attempted 16 triples this year and he knocked down six of them so how much of that from a usefulness standpoint actually do you feel comfortable for a guy making $11 million heading into next season you needed more out of him and you weren’t getting that so why not take the chance on moving his contract for a player that you feel can impact in a very good fashion in and Out of the Abyss says “I like it but I’m a little skeptical unless it saved us money in some way.” It did it saved us $1 million lonzo didn’t exactly shoot lights out ever but I get it he makes plays he is not a lights out shooter but consider the fact that prior to his injuries he actually was on the comeup as a shooter in his last mostly healthy season i mean that is putting it mildly like when he got to Chicago in the 202122 season over that 35game stretch Lonzo Ball shot 42.3% on 74 7.4 attempts per game from three-point distance it was going it had it was trending upward from his rookie season through that year rookie year shot 30.5% second year 32.9 third year 37.5 fourth year 37.8 and then fifth year 42.3 there was an upward progression or trajectory rather every single year and he was coming off of two straight misss this past year where he shot 34.4 so I am not going to be too hard on him in regards to that so I do think that he adds as a offball shotmaker he’s not really a all guy mostly offball jayquest says you caught it bro i did i feel good it feels good to you know to to call one like that tunin Sports says “Wow.” Stephen Vernett Vancau says “Ball the Cavs is crazy work.” I don’t think so i love it this is a W for Kobe Alman as far as I’m concerned otwtk says “Fire.” It definitely is man i I just feel so good about this mr king 562 says “Lonzo adds hella length to our guards.” Yeah just listen to this again listen to this potential guard rotation darius Garland Donovan Mitchell Ty Jerome Lonzo Ball that sounds really good craig Porter Junior’s on the roster too and again this is assuming that Tai returns but nothing is a given tai could see this move and say you know what I don’t think this is going to align with the you know the role that I want maybe he opts to sign elsewhere you know but I don’t know if his if his goal is to win a championship I think he would be hardressed not to resign here on the dotted line regardless if this cuts into his minutes or not because there is reality that it could we just have to face facts here they play the same position for the most part the the Cavaliers asked Tai to function as that backup point guard last year but you could pro you could most definitely see a lot of lineups with both involved because Tai is a very very good offball shotmaker alonzo can play off ball so they you don’t necessarily need the ball in either’s hands all the time for them to be effective but Tai of the two is probably the more effective on ball option as a scorer lonzo necessarily not so much you’re getting a lot more playmaking facilitation out of him than you are pure shot making and scoring on ball but there there are like caveats and strengths and weaknesses to both julius L freeman says “I’m off Kobe back for now i like this move back.” Listen it it’s fair to be like critical of Kobe at times but I think where people fall flat in their criticisms of Kobe is thinking that this man does not know what he’s doing like there’s there does seem to be a general plan in place for a lot of what he has done he has made the most of what he has at his disposal more often than not and I think frankly sometimes he just doesn’t get enough credit frankly he fielded a good maybe even a championship level roster last year with some flaws that is not debatable the Cavaliers did have flaws last year backup big has been an issue since Kevin Love left town and you can argue that even when Kevin was here there were some issues there um wing you know that the size in the in the wing group that has been an issue for a while too but they had enough on the roster last year to get them to at the very least the Eastern Conference Finals and beyond and they didn’t right for various reasons whether that be injury they they did themselves no favors they lost that series obviously no excuses a lot of things happened but at the end of the day Kobe Alman fielded a good roster last year and he is hopefully going to do an even better job this off season towards solidifying that back end to make them more suited to win a title in a very open Eastern Conference we shall see javon Williams says “We need backup bigs.” We do go out and get Larry Nes Jr get a Bismag Bybo or somebody like that because some of the bigger names that we’re seeing have already stated that they intend to return to their respective teams whether that be Andre Drummond or I guess Sean Yabusle there are a lot of names out there that would on paper be great but I just don’t think Cavaliers are going to be able to afford them so you’re going to have to look at some of the lower end guys whether that be Jericho Sims or Larry or Biombo or god forbid Plumbley um we’ll see we shall see but this this is good this is good to wake up to i hopefully you guys feel much the same i’m not going to beat a dead horse here as I always tell you guys if you like to reach out to me and how you can it’s cavalary pod on Twitter Tik Tok Instagram YouTube more if you want to be added to the issav Discord chat you know what to do leave a rating leave a review send a screenshot of said review to iscaval53gmail.com and I will send you said invite if you want to support the pod in a small but helpful way consider becoming a member over on Patreon there should be a link in the description you can you can do that for as little as a dollar a month there’s there’s a lot of uh there there’s a lot of value in supporting your favorite content creators and what that will do is get you access to some content that get gets dropped early get get you access to the Discord chat and channel but hopefully you guys feel is as great about this move as I do i know I’m all over the place but that’s because I was not expecting to see this move and for these people down here saying Lopez Brook Lopez guys I don’t think Brook Lopez is going to sign on the dotted line for the veteran minimum he he can probably get more money elsewhere because most of these teams are going to be looking at the mid-level exception and I don’t think the Cavaliers are going to offer much more than the veteran minimum at this point for any player that they sign especially if they do intend on keeping Ty Jerome or Sam Merrill or if things go a different way we’ll we’ll see we shall see all I know is that this is a step in the right direction uh just want to say thank you again to Isaac Auroro for everything that you brought to the table and I know people are probably going to feel indifferent about what exactly that is but Isaac for better or worse he did his best to contribute he just had his flaws but he spent five years here in Cleveland he’s he scored if I’m not mistaken uh over 2,78 points during that tenure and he’ll always hold a place in my heart uh for his toughness out there i think that the Cavaliers they they did good with this one though they did good with this one go Cavs

  1. Congratulations Cavs! Goodbye Okoro and yo Poor playmaking abilities with no Shot Creating along with Poor Defense & being the 5th Pick was one of thee worst Picks in Cavaliers draft History!!

  2. I like it because equal on defense and better on offense than what we were getting from Isaac. Isaac was one of my guys but I’m good with this.

  3. "That was awful. Watch how Okoro keeps improving. Ball is talented but injury-prone — I wouldn’t be surprised if they move on from him next season.
As for the Cavs, they seriously need to part ways with Wade, Merritt, and Strus if he doesn’t step up.
The real issue is defense — now it’s clear why Cavs lost. Wade, Merritt, and Jerome just can’t guard anyone."
