the second apron is the worst thing to happen to the NBA and the Celtics are suffering from it just last night they traded away arguably a top 10 defensive point guard in NBA history for Anthony Simons i mean Simons is good he’s a great scorer but they don’t need a scorer since they already have Brown drew was a great piece for the Celtics on both ends of the floor and yesterday they traded away Christoff for literally nobody i mean they just gave him up at least with Luca the Mavs got another superstar in return which was Anthony Davis the league really needs to do something about this because there’s no way perfectly built championship roster just broke up because of Munch follow for more NBA content

Let’s be for real, Jrue Holiday wasn’t his best last season and showed extreme signs of regression as a fan watching those games it was clear he wasn’t what he was last year. Yea he was good but he wasn’t able to hold is own against most fast or shifty guards. Yea Simons dude cant play D either but we have Derrick white still
They just closed their window. With Tatum and the Achilles injury, they had a minimal chance. Now they have none like the Pacers and Bucks. I won't say it, but nobody but 2 people came back from the Achilles injury, and they are KD and Dominique Wilkins. Their impact wasn't as impressive as it used to be, but they produced. Everyone was hopeful for Boogie, even in Golden State, but it went downhill from New Orleans. I could say that Wesley Matthews came back strong, but he was already a role player, but he might have had the longest career after his Achilles injury in 2014-2015.
They weren’t going to win anything without Tatum. By the time he gets back Jrue will be very hard to trade. Do it now while his value is still high. Porz was injury and illness prone and he cost too much. I don’t think any team really wanted him. Celtics want to give a couple of their bench players a chance to develop as they great potentials on rookie contracts.
jrue is coming off one of his worst offensive seasons and porzingis never made it to the playoffs. While it seems bad at first glance with the tatums injury the trades fit their timeline better
