WILL the Spurs SIGN a BIG Next Week!?
spurs fans will we see our team sign a big next week or will we see more of center so what is up San Antonio’s first fans welcome to TSR Sports hope you’re having a great weekend and I caught an article from Yahoo Sports this morning with an updated free agent list for centers and I thought you know we did this what six or eight weeks ago but this is an updated list let’s talk about it let’s see what we can possibly get i’ll give my two cents of course give your two cents while we’re going over it the potential top available centers in this year’s free agent market with the negotiating window opening at 6 PM Eastern on June 30th that’s right the free agent market starts Monday and I’m going to actually go live for it at 600 p.m eastern i’m going to go live maybe for an hour or two hang out talk Spurs but also if any big moves are made by the Spurs or other teams we’ll address it just a heads up guys teams can make offers to free agents that are unrestricted you just can’t sign them until July 6 you’re going to see a lot of guys here that are unrestricted free agents which means their current teams can make an offer to them the player has a week to accept the offer or move on and of course the matching offers etc etc i want to make it I’m confusing myself let’s get into the list look who’s number one no surprise Miles Turner unrestricted free agent with the Indiana Pacers with a lot of money on the market and the fact that both sides seem motivated to continue their partnership expect Turner and Indiana to find common ground on a new deal that looks significantly richer than the ones before he’s not going anywhere i know Tyrese Hallebertton’s out next season more than likely be a miracle if he plays one minute i totally see Miles Turner returning to the Pacers naz Reed now you’re gone saying Minnesota not a shocker there agreed to a 5-year $125 million deal best of luck to you up next Brick Lopez an unrestricted free agent with the Milwaukee Bucks lopez might be 37 he might be slow he might be declining but the man is still a physical behemoth who will clog the paint block shots and drain a ton of three-pointers okay what do you think will happen staying with the Bucks another year isn’t a bad play but if Lopez is looking for another title run we’ll have to look outside the organization and identify a team that’s closer milwaukee Milwaukee’s got some things to do dame’s out for next season with his Achilles injury lopez if he was younger I’d say sure but bringing him in for a year maybe two I this one I personally I’m saying no i’ve seen some of you say yes if we have a chance to make a play for him go for it i’m in the no market clint Capella the Swiss bank with the Atlanta Hawks and unrestricted free agent capella is getting older and less dynamic but he’s still a tough rebounder who challenges shots at the rim and remains a solid lob threat the Los Angeles Lakers will unquestionably have internal meetings about Capella considering his theoretical fit with Luca Donic should that be the path Capella chooses there’s a world where he once again will produce impressive box scores yeah actually I would not mind Clinkapella as a backup to WBY yes I don’t think I can’t remember if he can shoot the three at all i don’t think he can off the top of my head yeah I I’d be all in for this for the right price i believe he’s 30 or 31 maybe for two to three years yeah actually I’m all on board clinkapella sure bring him on over morren Bner with the Orlando Magic status is a team option with the value of $1 million i certainly expect him to pick that up winer to ACL in December so we should see teams offer him deals that greatly benefit them in terms of flexibility what Yahwa thinks will happen is despite the injury and the fact that could be an unrestricted free agent next summer the Magic should try to keep him long term i think they will so I I think he’s off the board all right we’ve talked to him out gershim the dancing bear Yavoselli the Philadelphia 76ers he is an unrestricted free agent which means we’d have to wait until July 6th to sign him if we make an offer but using last year’s Olympics as a display window Yabiselli made the most of his NBA return becoming a key offensive contributor for the Sixers gabiselli should hear out the Sixers but absolutely seek the biggest payday possible regardless of team since he’s closing in on 30 for a guy like him who can occasionally play recklessly securing his own future is the goal i have said it numerous times i would love to get him what would it take to bring him over we’re looking at three years 36 million 40 million 45 million maybe a four-year contract i think this would be a home run if the Spurs were able to get him 6’8 but I do believe he has a seven foot plus wingspan he’s even more than that he’s 72 i know he’s got a good wingspan he’s very He’s a big dude 265 pounds he could play the four or the five he is a stretch four stretch five the question is how much would it cost i don’t think the Sixers retain him i see some signs looking at other Philly analysis with their draft probably moving up from Gershan Yabaselli can the Spurs get him will there be a bidding war for his services i don’t know but this is a player that would make a lot of sense and the bonus is he has chemistry with WMY played in the Olympics now some of you have pointed out appropriately so were they best buddies in Olympics i honestly don’t know but I haven’t seen anything bad about the relationship either so I think this would be an absolute homework for the Spurs if they can get him and it would fit in our our cap if you will and that ain’t no cap best of the rest jaylen Williams at OKC team option 2.1 million i I assume he stays then Andre German it says status exercise $5 million player options so that usually means to me that he is staying with the respective team but that’s not just just at Spurs fans it’s just not free agency there are very limited options but there’s also the trade market and while I don’t know who’s available for trade off the top of my head I try to think of teams that have a lot of centers and I was like you know what they just drafted one love the pick or hate it the Portland Trailblazers are stacked with centers deandre Aton whose massive contract I can’t see them moving williams Reef Dupe Reef Robert what was it robert Williams Dup Reef and now Hansen Yang but the one that I didn’t mention is the one that I’d like to see a straight for if possible and that is Don Mlingan first off you’d have immediate chemistry with him and Stefon Castle they were on the Yukon Championship team the previous season and I don’t his his contract is team friendly the question is how much would it take to pry Don Mclling from Portland and would they be willing to move on from him i think Aton has one year left on his contract reath has one year left on his contract yank will be on a four-year rookie contract or are they seeing their future at center Klingan and Yang and are just going to ride out Eaton Rereath and Williams there there’s there’s way too way too many centers they don’t need five i would try to fight Donovan from Portland i don’t know if Portland’s feeling like they’re in a kind of a win now mode by bringing in Drew Holidayiday and I really don’t know what Portland’s doing to be honest with you but if we can trade maybe we trade a player they don’t need DSL they have a lot of shooting guards still would you part with the Spurs fans if they would take a Harrison Barnes and draft Capital for Don Mllingan if it works out salary wise would you do that or if there’s two other young guys on the Spurs that are not named Jeremy Sohan Stefon Castle what do you say am I crazy or do you think TSR you know what Don McClungan from the from the Portland Trailblazers yeah can we make that happen not likely but I think that would he’d be the perfect backup center a rim protector shot blocker doesn’t have much of a three-point shot who cares we need a backup big that can be a backup big he need to stretch five and maybe even share the court once in a while with WBY you want to look around the league i know a lot of you said Walker Kesler i the Jazz are going to They’re going to want way too much for Walker Kessler would love to have him could have had him 2022 draft we drafted Malachi Brand of 20th overall kesler went to the Jazz at 22 but he’s certainly a player I’d love to have as a backup to Wim although I think he would probably want to be more of a starter i guess the other question too a lot of you talked about WHMY being a stretch four could the Spurs try to get a starting legit five in the next year or two i’m going have to like you guys say trust the process i love what we did in the draft minus trading pick number 38 i would have loved Maxine Raino as a backup even a development of backup it’s just a second round cont it’s a second round pick not not going to break the bank 2 million a year doesn’t work out i do believe you guys have said those contracts aren’t guaranteed then move on from him but give him a chance because right now we got one guy that’s over 610 don’t we and that’s Wendy that is it everybody else I believe in the roster is 69 unless i just don’t think that’s going to work still an exciting time to be a Spurs fan we got Harper we got Bryant now to finish the Infinity Gauntlet to finish Thanos’s gauntlet brian right we were missing one last Infinity Gem we need a big make it so drop a comment down below who do you think we should go after in free agency that’s affordable and we can get beside Yabelli we’ve we’ve talked about at length so I’m sure he’s going to be on that list but also do you think we can trade for a big do you like my idea of Don Klingan do you think we could actually pry Walker Kessler from the Jazz or is Danny just gonna you know no not gonna happen hit that thumbs up support the channel subscribe to become a part of our awesome Spurs community i thank you and as always go Spurs go and stay

Shoot forgot to mention I am seeing reports the Celtics may try to flip Anfernee Simons and retain Luke Kornet. Thanks for watching and GO SPURS GO!

– Yabusele is not a 5, he have a smaller standing reach than Sochan, and as him he was so bad playing the 5 (defense and rebound were horrible, that's why 76er had an even worst D than the Spurs without Wemby)
– Lopez is WASHED UP
– Capela carrer is near the end (if you want speed… look elsewhere)
– Turner is great, but no way Spurs will outbid any other team wanting him, to begin with the Pacers.
– Mo Wagner = Zach Collins just less overpaid.
I say trade for John Collins for sure, he could spread the floor with his 3 point shooting
This usually isn’t my take, but I’d like to hang onto Barnes. This team is young and, in terms of vets, SA is projected to only have Fox and Barnes. They need at least a couple of vets, especially ones that have been to the playoffs.
Finally the video I have been waiting for
Sochan against small ball is awesome he can switch pick and roll, for big teams, not so much
The Haliburton injury might have opened the door for him to possibly leave.
Let’s see what BW does because the free agent market for a big is thin and you knew (or should have known that) going into the draft!!!
There has to be a trade because the spurs have TOO many picks in the second round in the coming years. Unless, they are playing the loooong game and looking at the 2027 draft
The Spurs have a lot of time to get a big or two. We spurs fans cry and complain way too much. Don't worry…be happy!
Donovan Clingan? WOW! I thought I liked the Spurs Kool-Aid?!?!?!!!!!
Is Bismack still on the team?
I don’t think the blazers are willing to give up Clinigan but I’m pretty sure Rob Williams is for sure, and he would be a good big for us
The dancing bear and Lopez at the right price would be cool. Clint Capella has shot 6 3pt in his career, missed all of them. Wonder if the Spurs where hoping for Cligan in thr draft. I think he would fit. Ayton would probably come cheap and if it doesn't work, it's only a year rental, but he's another one that can't shoot.
Estamoa jodidos fuck
Lopez no, capela no, yabusele ni, turner si. Pick 38: ryan klabbrenber or maxime reynud. 😔
Moritz wagner
Yabuselw Is a power foward we need a big center
I think spurs should sign Clint capela
Hi TSR Sports! My initial guess is that money is dried up at this point so expect MLE guys changing addresses. Its all about moving tiers from apron to apron to avoid paying the tax bill. Emter Brook Lopez and Guerschon Yabusele. Both have personal connections to the Spurs. Lopez is a Mitch Johnson teammate back in Stanford and i slightly disagree with you simply because eventhough he is old his championship exp is invaluable to Wemby's growth as a player and somebody we need to navigate the playoffs if we are serious about this–which we are. My concern is the cost; Spurs have to be creative around this in getting the money to make this work. Yabusele is a Wemby connection since he is French he is cheap as well not going to cost much. Thanks!
Didn't even mention Luke Kornet. We could just keep Mamu and get Capella. He rebounds and he's tough. Maybe Mamu can work on his defense in the offseason. Hit the gym or something. We've seen he can shoot the 3, but he's very streaky.
Trade DV to the jazz plus draft capital for John Collins
Agree with the title. As days go by and more wings and guards are signed I am starting to worry. Is someone (Mitch) driving a small ball train. The WEST is loading up on bigs and so far from us..bukkas.. No bueno.
Would like turner but probably be too much. Capela would be a good second option if not just keep mamu and Bassey
I think we sign Yabusele to a 3 yr 36 mil contract using the MLE and we sign Bol Bol to a one year deal using the rest of the MLE and then we sign Jake LaRavia to a one year 5 mil deal using the biannual exception. This could get us to the trade deadline where we could look for upgrades on the trade market, like an expiring contract of Valunciunis.
We need an ACTUAL Big who could hold down & handle everything a center is supposed to do without any backup or Wemby… NO more 6'8 barley big enough to play the 4 being our only option…. If anything we need a old school traditional Center… Lopez is a perfect example strong, imposing not getting pushed around or bullied. Can play tough, physical matchups like Jokic, Lopez, Adams etc so Wemby doesn't have to risk injury trying to wrestle much stronger, heavier, & sturdy built guy's. Not only for risk reduction but it takes Wemby out of the game being able to play his most effective style. Honestly instead of worrying about getting a PF we need to focus on the 5 & let Wemby loose at the 4 with nothing hindering him or extra responsibility's he has to worry about as the only 5 on the floor. Images the dominance & mismatches Wemby will be even more dominant with only wings & forwards guarding him …& If their 5 tires helping now you're leaving a dominant actual big in the paint… Not to mention Barnes is a very strong and big guy ESPECIALLY at the 3…. With Wemby-4 & hell even old Lopez -5…. INSANE 3pt & Spacing with unfair mismatches in iso esp… rebounds would belong to Us…thats already an almost unstoppable setup, & haven't even mentioned Fox running the offense with all those weapons… &. His speed & dominance in iso with wide open spacing… Imagine the options for pick & roll or pop, screens, double screens, & the reverse versions of all those … & All those snipers as kick out options if needed….. Yabusele is great, I also like Cam Johnson & Trey Murphy & even more so Collins but the 1 piece we could add that would give us the biggest upgrade is a big… Even a older one like Lopez, still cheaper than any of the Forwards I named…. Add Collins when not using double Big… He almost qualifies as a big as is…. & We imagine those 10 Reb's he avgs too…..
Sorry rant over.
I would love to get Gafford if that's possible in any way
Not really worried about the offseason, I trust our office. We are absolutely targeting a big. I would be fine with Yabusele, Horford, Kornet, and Lopez. I am not familiar with Yabusele, but I heard good things about him.
Capela or possibly Looney as a free agent pickup or a trade with a blazers at center.
What about Achiuwa or Aldama at PF?
IS Adebayo not an option?
The way i see things they won t even sign y1busele for what ever reason 🤨😤😤
All I know is no matter what Big the Spurs sign, it's going to cost us a lot more than what they could've got in Raynaud!!!
Two Johnson's and they still have size issues……….
Now that the east is weak and ATL got better, let's trade ATL 1st rd and a player for a good big so wemby can slide to the 4 like he wants.
Portland Trailblazers have like 5 centers
clingan was literally apart of portlands draft process he attended the interviews and workouts …he is most likely a franchise player for them
Been floating an idea on Facebook. Sochan, Vassell, Keldon for MPJ, Nnaji, Braun
