blind reaction to the Sixers third overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft it is VJ Edgecomb guard out of Baylor the Sixers elect to not take Ace Bailey that would have been the riskier pick but in my opinion Edgecomb doesn’t have as much highlevel upside as Ace Bailey i think that Ace Bailey has star potential that’s the route I would have gone and envisioning a future of Tyrese Maxi at the one Jared McCain at the two and Ace Bailey at the three4 I would be very excited about that i’m not as juiced up about this pick of VJ Edgecom don’t get me wrong love the character love the work ethic love the two-way ability he has stupid athleticism but I would have gone with the player who I believe is better who can become a star and that’s Bailey it’s not edge comb

I don’t know why I see a few comments, saying the 76ers screwed up one thing Daryl Morey how to do is draft. Why pick the one who canceled a workout and does not want to be here please answer that for me. If we would’ve drafted Ace, I guarantee you three years from now we will be calling for him to be traded from this basketball team. Vj has a lot of upside. He reminds me of a Jimmy Butler or a Dwyane Wade. I love it. I think we got it right

I feel like VJ is the type of player who will over achieve his projections. Extremely athletic, high motor and great mentality. Needs to improve his mechanics and fundamentals.

Never draft a guy who doesn't want to be on your team unless you intend to trade him. How did Rutgers have a losing season despite having the #2 and #3 picks in the draft? All I've seen shows me he just wants to be in the league making millions. I've seen nothing that shows me he also wants to work hard and win.
