Knicks are the favorites at plus 300 to trade for Giannis and get him on this team if he chooses to leave Milwaukee the teams after the Knicks the Raptors plus450 the Spurs plus 600 the Rockets plus 800 and then everybody else is at plus 1,200 or higher meaning their chances of landing Giannis is extremely low and there is one team on this list that is constantly mentioned in the Giannis trade talks and that’s the Brooklyn Nets and the main reason for that is because they’re in New York and if you know Giannis he has said multiple times that he loves to play in New York and playing in New York brings out a better basketball side in him so clearly everybody believes that the two teams he could join are the Knicks or the Brooklyn Nets but if you look at the odds here Brooklyn is at plus,200 to land Giannis while the Knicks are plus 300 that’s not an accident yes Giannis wants to play in New York but he doesn’t just want to play in New York he wants to win he wants to win championships so if you’re looking at the New York market and you’re looking at both teams which team would you want to join the Knicks or the Nets very easy answer it’s the Knicks and that’s why New York has the best odds at this point to trade for Giannis where there’s smoke there’s fire giannis has been linked to the Knicks for a number of seasons now and as soon as the Bucks were eliminated this off season I’m telling you a Giannis trade is still open and the Knicks have the best odds to land him via trade and get him on this roster and shout out to Alan Han who gave us this following information on his radio show according to him will the New York Knicks try and make a big splash with the East now wide open and according to Alan Han he says the following giannis is still in play giannis attent and a trade for him is still in play this is a new report a recent report and it tells you everything you need to know giannis is currently exploring his options and seeing what other teams are a better fit for him other than the Milwaukee Bucks and I’m not the only one who’s saying this i reported on this a few days ago but let’s go back to that report from Shams shout out to New York basketball on the app X and NBA insider with ESPN Shams for giving us this following information here according to him Giannis is open-minded about exploring what’s the best fit for him is it in Milwaukee or outside of Milwaukee this process includes seeing what the Bucks can do to elevate that team the next several weeks will be very important for Giannis and if he stays or goes from the Milwaukee Bucks giannis can absolutely be traded everyone is worried about the trade package and if that’s not enough for you Sham said the following about Giannis and him potentially being traded don’t shut the door on a Giannis attempt to ko trade this off season not just yet according to Shams he explained the scenario in which the two-time NBA MVP could get traded later this summer here’s what he had to say exactly according to Shams a lot of observing he’s been there for 12 years so there’s going to be that equity given to the Bucks to see what they can do during the draft week free agency week how much they can improve this team in their moves he said it he wants to compete for championships can the Bucks make those championship moves his future I’ve said it for the last few weeks it won’t be tied to the draft it won’t be tied to free agency if there is a resolution on Giannis Aenta Kmpo it could be later in the summer ladies and gentlemen the door is wide open on a Giannis trade the simple truth of the matter is if you want to trade for Giannis Carl Anthony Towns must be included in that trade for the main reason of salary of cap if you want to match Giannis’s salary then you have to add another player that can do that and Carl Anthony Towns checks that box now I wish I hope it could be a Giannis for cat swap because if the Knicks are able to pull that off you can vault them to the top of the NBA as one of the main teams likely going to the NBA finals but the Milwaukee Bucks they’re likely going to ask for more picks more pieces and more assets and if that’s the case New York will definitely pay to play here now I’m not sure how many assets Milwaukee will want back but I do know one thing this trade will be influenced by Giannis Aenta Kmpo himself if he tells the Milwaukee Bucks he does not want to be traded to any other team but New York it gives New York power and leverage that means they can put together a trade package that might make sense at least for salary but in terms of giving away a lot of assets they might not have to do that because Giannis is forcing their hand and the entire league knows it and if the league knows that then they’re not going to be aggressive with the trade offers they’re giving Milwaukee that means the Knicks will have the best offer on the table and since the Bucks know that Giannis wants to leave they’ll be even more pressured to accept any offer on the table again certain things need to happen in order for the Knicks to trade for Giannis but it’s not impossible it may be improbable it may be a long shot but a long shot is still a shot and there have been so many reports out there linking Giannis to the Knicks the odd makers even believe that the Knicks are the favorites to land Giannis at plus 300 if he leaves the Milwaukee Bucks vegas believes it that means Vegas knows something that we don’t know maybe Vegas understands what conversations Leon Rose and this Knicks front office is you’re never going to get Giannis because once that’s out there Leon Rose will make it his mission in life to trade for Giannis and get him on this team as of right now Giannis is still in play and
