Bulls Take Noa Essengue With the 12th Pick!

all right the Bulls pick at number 12 is in and they are taking Noah Asen a person that plays professional ball in France uh has been turning heads quite a bit coming into the draft and you know I’m not really sure how to feel about this one he is actually one of the prospects that I liked and featured in a prior video for who I would be intrigued in the Bulls and getting i think I was just really really hoping that Kaman Malawatch would fall to the Bulls given the fact that he fought all the way to 10 but Asen the youngest second youngest player in the draft only behind Cooper Flag he’ll be 18 by the time the season starts another big well I don’t know if I should call him a big he’s tall he’s 6’10” super lengthy he probably fits more with being a wing in this league another big-time athlete hustle player quick and great in transition he can play on and off the ball and creating his own shot or moving and scoring off screens but then also he’s shown a lot of promise on the defensive end i mean he’s able to contest shots even if he gets beat off the dribble i mean he’s able to recover nicely as a result of it very similar to what we see from Modus Bellis and you know a lot of people talk about this kid’s upside uh I think this is sort of one of those high-risk highreward potentials in the fact that you know you could see him turn into a Giannis type player if he’s able to improve his build get bulkier um round out his game both on offense and on defense that’s sort of pie in the sky upside for a Seni but then there’s also the possibility of hey is this the type of player that just doesn’t work out in the NBA right i mean he’s playing in a league right now in Germany that isn’t that great he’s obviously shown up well in that league but is he going to be able is his game going to translate over to the NBA um because he’s so young probably is going to take a couple of years for him to really be an impact player for this Bulls uh so it is actually a surprising pick to me because I would have assumed the Bulls would want a guy that’s a little more ready now that said there’s been a lot of movement thus far at the time of this recording I’m still following along to make sure there aren’t any future trades but there’s been a lot of movement it’s also possible the Bulls could be trading that pick maybe they actually look to package it in a deal that sends Kobe White somewhere else there’s been talk about the Bulls looking to trade Kobe White and Lonzo Ball going into draft night as well as Nikoluch so stay tuned for all of that just want to get my quick reaction on the Bulls and their selection at number 12 let me know what you guys think of this in the comments and obviously I’ll keep you guys posted if there are any additional moves being made on draft night thanks again as always guys be sure to subscribe and I’ll see you in the next one
