three ball now his field goal percentage shot way up so in early in his career I didn’t fall career was he just settling on jumpers a lot and trying you know long jumpers trying the three ball clearly wasn’t working with his field goal percentage to some degree and he said screw it um everything’s going to be in the paint near the rim i don’t know i thought that was really weird that he used to be a three-point shooter and has completely stopped would I want DSR that’s me would I want him as a backup uh I mean we don’t have a lot of options right now we don’t charles Bassie who knows if he’s coming back he is a risk he’s an injury risk i hate to say it he just can’t stay healthy i think the Spurs move on from him cornet sure i’ll take him over i’ll take him over center or so other news first off you want to be on the court playing I would think but also to make money and if he can get more minutes and make more money then it would just make sense i I would hate to see him go but I Oh yeah, Minix does look like he could be your boy and Luke Kornet can be your crazy drifter cousin. I can totally see you sitting Riley down and discussing why it's not a good idea to loan money to cousin Luke.
I honestly don't understand why we didn't waive Ingram; he hasn't shown any improvement. I hope Minix is healthy and gets some minutes, as he has potential.

Yabusele is only 6-7 or 6-8. Need 7 footers to help compete against Minnesota, Denver and a probably rejuvenated Dallas. And that’s just to start. Wemby’s only backup in Zach Collins isn’t even there anymore so it’s a no brainer. That first pick was just wasted

This is simple. Dallas is in desperate need of the Guard position, and they have too many bigs. San Antonio is in desperate need of a PF or Center position, and we have too many Guards!

Mamu's weakness is his defense, and the Spurs mo has always been defense. Yabusele and Kornet would be good gets, especially Yabusele. Al Horford is a player that has not been mentioned. He is ancient, but he can still play and is supposedly listening to offers. An opportunity to play with Wemby might be something Horford would want to do.
yabusele should not get around 10mil, philly gave his way less money than that

Good update! Yes, I have the same question – can we get both of them? Kornet to back up Wemby, Yubesele to start at the 4 spot and stretch the floor. Kornet is on a 1-yr $2.8M contract, and Yabusele is on a 1-yr $2.09M contract. If you really want to give them $10M each, fine, but they would probably be happy with less.

Kornet is a bit of a gamble worth potentially $14 mill, watching BOS they had multiple shooters around him, this'll probably be the worst spaced team he's ever been on, unless he can turn back into a shooter. Still, Spurs must do something, anyone is better than nobody.

I’m not saying we should get him back, but I think they should have never traded Poeltl, I think he was always pretty good and we obviously could use him now and could have used him the last few seasons.
I just had a thought. Hear me out, please. Remember the Kawhi trade that brought in DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poeltl? I said a couple of years ago that I suspected Poeltl was the real target of the trade. Sure, Pop loved DeRozan, but he also knew he was not long for this team. Pop wanted Poeltl and got him. Now, if Pop was still in charge of the team, last look said he is in spirit, if anything, I'm thinking the real target from this draft was not Harper, but rather Bryant. I got this idea from pundits on the internet pointing out the same traits as Kawhi in Carter Bryant. So, do I believe Harper will be a great player in this league? Time will tell. But I know the way Pop thinks, he wanted Carter Bryant almost pathologically, pointing to how great Harper could be in the future. But Pop really likes what he saw in Carter Bryant; again, time will tell. But I'm not one to gossip, so you ain't heard that from me.

NO Ayton!! Guy was a locker room cancer in Phoenix and Portland. Fans in Portland wanted him off the team midway through this season. Terrible defense, Portland had a good defense with Clingan on the floor and one of the worst defense when Ayton was in the game. You guys thought Samanic didn't try hard, Ayton was way worse. When he becomes disgruntled his attitude is a problem and he brings down the whole energy of the team. The Spurs are still growing, they are not desperate to bring in a guy like Ayton. He would kill the progress that the Spurs have made so far.

Spurs can use a mobile big that can guard a stretch 5 that can space the floor while Wemby anchors in the paint. And a viable backup center
