Brooklyn Nets Trading For RJ Barrett??
guys this is Houston Sports Talk back in the video today and today we’re going to be talking about the Brooklyn Nets potentially trading for RJ Barrett uh today there was a report by NBA Central that said that you know people around the league have been keeping an eye on the possibility of RJ Barrett getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets per Brett Seagull NBA where where Barrett could end up in a mystery is a mystery at this time but league sources have indicated Brooklyn’s desire to acquire another lottery pick is is there a potential trade brewing between the Nets and Raptors that could see Barrett and the ninth pick go to Brooklyn this is something many around the league are keeping an eye on and there is no guarantee Toronto will keep the ninth pick in this year’s draft so um yeah I think this is a trade where you know Toronto’s nine would potentially Brooklyn be looking to acquire another first round pick as they have five right now just got picked 22 this could be I I think this could be a way of potentially seeing the Brooklyn Nets making a tradeup you know with some of the picks they have i I’m just going to throw this deal out there maybe RJ Barrett and Pick Nine go to This is the trade I’m thinking of rj Barrett and Pick Nine rj Baron averaged 21 points per game six rebounds per game five assists per game so RJ Baron and Pick Nine go to the Nets and then you see Nick Claxton pick 19 and pick 22 go to the Raptors keep in mind keep in mind Nick Claxton is under contract more than RJ Baron is that might make him a little bit you know you know Claxton sure he’s not as good as Baron claxton averaged 10 points per game seven rebounds per game in 26 minutes per game averaged 12 and 10 in the 2023 24 season on 29 minutes per game and he averaged 13-9 um and is a great shot blocker averaged 2.1 blocks per game in the 2023 24 season and 2022 23 season he averaged 2.5 blocks so but Claxton is under contract for three seasons meanwhile RJ is only two seasons so the potential idea of this deal would be RJ Barrett and pick nine going to Brooklyn so Brooklyn would have two picks in the top 10 and then Nick Claxton would go with pick 19 and pick 22 that they just acquired from the you know from the B sorry the Atlanta Hawks in the Chris Porzingis trade so pick 19 and 22 it had with RJ Barrett for sorry with with Nick Claxton for RJ Baron and pick nine let me know your thoughts on the potential trade in the comment section that’s the video if you guys enjoyed and peace out
