Washington Wizards Trade For Dillon Jones My Thoughts!!

yo what’s going on guys this is Houston Sports Talk back another video today and today the Oklahoma City Thunder are trading Dylan Jones to the Washington Wizards uh Dylan Jones who funny enough was their first round pick last year it’s not often you see a first round pick get traded away after only one season but when you’re the NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder who has a deep roster might not give us a big of a chance to a first round pick but this is not like this is not like Nicola you know Topic like you look at Nicola Topic was their 12th overall pick in last year’s draft he’s still on the roster it’s not like they’re going to get rid of him i’d like to see him play uh next year a little bit and get some opportunities um he was a guy they were really high on when they drafted him last year but this was a guy that was drafted later on in the first round uh they drafted him 26 overall uh so he wasn’t a it wasn’t a high draft pick you he played 54 games this year but you look at it I mean played a lot of games because look how many blowout wins Oklahoma City had um there were some games he played in that weren’t because it was a blowout but a lot of those games were you know he averaged 10 minutes per game 54 games 2.5 points per game two rebounds per game you know so but there might be some talent there that you know it’s unknown he’s a small forward uh went to college at Weber State and I I think that it should be interesting to see him going to the Washington Wizards uh you know if they decide to keep him and this this is what I’m going to say is that you know if they decide if the Wizards decide to keep him and you know you look at the player they’re getting here you know they they are a team that is not good um as of right now it seems like they’re going to have another bad season I think they might be a little bit more improved adding against CJ you know McCullum and Kelly Olen uh adding in some more veteran experience a full season of Chris Middleton and Marcus Smart Washington definitely might a little bit improved next season i think they definitely could improve but I still don’t think they’re going to be great and so Dylan Jones can definitely get a lot more opportunities opportunities with the Washington Wizards than he can with you know with the Oklahoma City Thunder and um he he was a he wasn’t a first round pick for no reason he had talent in college at Weber State that’s why Oklahoma City drafted him and so he can try to show show himself with Washington potentially if he gets that chance and that’s something he did not get with Oklahoma City he was not gonna get with Oklahoma City because of the depth that they have and so he potentially could get that chance with Washington now and that’s good for him kobe Jones if I didn’t already mentioned is heading to this trade and this trade is heading to OKC but this is just a roster done for OKC okc is going to wave Jones kobe this is a Jones for Jones trade they’re going to wave Kobe Jones a second round pick is going with Dylan Jones uh to Washington i imagine Washington will not wave Dylan Jones so they’ll get Dylan Jones and a second round pick for Kobby Jones who played okay for them at the end of the year last year after getting traded there in the Valentunis trade but so yeah uh let me know your thoughts on the trade for the Wizards in the comment section wizards and Thunder in the comment section and peace out
