Jase Richardson to the Orlando Magic was a GREAT pick!!
the Orlando Magic took Michigan State guard Jace Richardson with the 25th pick in last night’s draft And this was such an incredible pick for a multitude of reasons Not only did his father Jason Richardson previously play for the Orlando Magic but Jace Richardson according to president of basketball operations Jeff Welman was the guy that they had been eyeing all along because Orlando had intended to take Jace Richardson with the 16th pick in last night’s draft prior to them trading that pick away to Memphis And now they were able to still land their guy at number 25 overall And the thing is he fills a glaring need for the Orlando Magic Not only does he provide spacing as he shot 41.2% from behind the ark for Michigan State last year but he also is a combo scoring guard This reminds me a ton of the Cole Anthony pick And even though he’s undersized he’s got incredible touch and feel around the rim He can handle the ball He can playmake for others Overall he’s going to provide a ton of spacing as this fits very well with what Orlando’s offseason guide has been Create spacing and shooting around Palo and France They did it with Desmond Bane and now they’ve done it with Jace Richardson
Jase Richardson to the Orlando Magic was a match made in heaven! #nba #nbadraft #orlandomagic

Oh wow now that your boy Tatum is out next year you suddenly pretend to care about the Magic again
His pre draft workout interview with the Trail Blazers have me more optimistic. Because he mentioned that he wanted to showcase he can be a PG and brought it up a couple times. Also said that he played the 2 at Michigan State because his coach wanted him to be more of a scorer. Really optimistic with the pick.
If they would’ve taken him at 16 it would’ve been a reach
